Loving this shop! What started out as a business on a bus, has grown into this amazing store in Brewster! You can feel good about shopping here and helping the environment! Eco friendly products that we are happy to switch to and an awesome refill station! Make sure to "tack a cap" after each refill! Also the best candles - that smell SO good and are refillable. Highly Recommend!

"Think globally, act locally" urges people to consider the health of the entire planet while taking action first in their own communities. Green Road Refill is the perfect solution to help each of us make a personal difference in reducing our plastic waste and our own carbon footprint. According to a study published in Nature Sustainability (December 2, 2021), the global carbon footprint of plastic has doubled since 1995. We cannot and must not ignore the irreparable damage we humans are wreaking on our environment.

The relatively new Green Road Refill store is conveniently located on Route 6A in Brewster and is really not a long drive at all from any town on the Cape. Jess, the founder and proprietor, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the all-natural products she offers in her store. She patiently answers questions and makes excellent suggestions. She even offers her customers a “trial sample” of products to see if they like them before they commit to buying. You can bring your own empty containers to fill up or take one or more from the basket in the store.

My husband and I started out by buying just a few products from Jess. We now purchase most of our health and beauty products and cleaning products at Green Road Refill. The result at home was immediately noticeable: there are very few plastic bottles and containers in our recycling bin now. We purchase shampoo bars, conditioner bars, shaving bars, body moisturizer, hair spritz, bamboo toothbrushes, eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets, an all-purpose bathroom/kitchen cleaner and a scrubbing-type cleaner. Besides being excellent products that work well, they are also chemical-free: safe for us and safe for the environment. Most notably, the scrubbing-type cleaner (Better Life Kitchen and Bath Scrubber) works far better than any bathroom cleaner I have ever used.

Just think: if every single person on Cape Cod were to switch from a plastic toothbrush to a compostable bamboo one, the reduction of plastic in our landfills from just this one small change would be beneficial. What a great find! I discovered a great little shop in Brewster called Green Road Refill. Amazing all natural products at the Falmouth Farmers Market. Cleaning, personal and home products. We even bought a box of reusable bowl covers that it turns out was a display box. I contacted them and had no issues. Will be back!

Having become aware and concerned about plastic waste, I was so happy and relieved to meet Jess George and her Betty Bus several years ago at the Orleans Farmers Market. Now, Jess has opened Green Road Refill conveniently located on Rte 6A in Brewster where you can refill your containers with environmentally-friendly household products from laundry detergent to shampoo, eliminating the need to buy more plastic! Jess has a wide variety of plastic-free products (razors, toothbrushes, food storage bags) and don't forget to stop in and get your travel-friendly solid shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste which can go right into your carry-on bags without a hassle at security!

Lovely little shop. Owners were so helpful in answering any questions I had about the different products. I’ve been waiting for a bulk/zero-waste shop on Cape Cod for so long, so I was very excited to see the in-store location open up! I will definitely continue to shop here for my home products, as I like being able to bring my own containers to refill or buy items that are compostable/without extra packaging right from the get go.

The little engine that could! Or, should I say the little refill truck and shop that DOES! The Green Road Refill truck is now a delightful brick and mortar store in the middle of Brewster. It is chock full of household and beauty products that are healthy and refillable. GoodBye plastic! These folks walk the talk and give our local community an invaluable service. Thanks!!!

Adorable shop with so many products to help reduce your carbon footprint. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, patiently answering my questions. I love the Albatross razors and small kitchen items that I purchased there. I'll definitely be back!

I found Green Road Refill to be a welcoming place to explore what small changes I could make to decrease my dependence on plastics. I also purchased some unique gifts made from recycled materials. Fun store to visit!

Cute shop with lots of options to reduce your environmental impact. Also nice candles and gifts for new babies. Everyone loved the Bee Balm I gave as stocking stuffers.
