I worked at Kast for 1 year, and it was a very enriching work experience. I had to leave NJ for personal reasons, which is a shame because I found a peaceful workplace. Both the transportation and warehouse staff were exceptional people.
I would like to give a special mention to Mathew Shorts, the manager of the transportation area where I worked. He is respectful, understanding, and always willing to listen. His clear communication and problem-solving skills create a positive work environment. His proactive approach drives continuous improvement and motivates the team to do their best.
In short, he is an inspiring leader who values his employees. That is one of the many reasons why, if I ever return to NJ, it would undoubtedly be my first choice again.

Quick and easy unload ... given the option of helping to unload or letting the lumpers do it. I had a long day and encroaching on the end of the 14 hr day, so I let them do it. Lots of room to maneuver. No overnight parking. However, there's a tiny Pilot, Flying J and Sunoco truckstops about 4 miles south.

Terrible Experience picking up Product for delivery to KAST. . What a Hell of a day.
