The Edge Fitness Clubs

The place is great! Great service all around. There's tons of equipment and there's a lot of room to move around and do the things that you want to do while you're here! Everything's nice and clean and you will feel welcomed from the time you walk in to the time you leave. One thing I'd like to point out, however, is that they don't let you know when they're closing down the shake bar for the night. I tried to get a shake at the end of my workout 20 minutes before closing time, unaware of the fact that they had already closed everything down for the night. I've also been to the Plymouth Meeting location and they had theirs closed down one hour before closing. Apparently it's different from location to location. If that's their policy then that's their policy. No use arguing about it, but I wish they'd make people aware of when they'd be closing the shake bar down for the night. Maybe some signage or even an announcement or something. It's not so bad of an issue, but I still think I should put it out there so everyone is aware of this. Overall, I'd say I'm impressed with this place!

I love this gym! It has so many machines I don't use most of them but I like to at least try everything. It has great employees, a smoothie bar, tanning, massage chairs, high-end treadmills, stair machines, elliptical, a huge floor area to stretch, do floor exercises, yoga balls, stretch bands, a kids area, a movie theater with bikes and treadmills that play a movie on loop all day a new one everyday(some 8 can't believe they play Luke Trains, Planes, and Automobiles, Wayne's World, Armageddon, etc.), trainers, classes and more! They also do a free fitness assessment when you sign up. I pay $23 a month for the tanning and other stuff I don't even know! They also have a chiropractor that sets up a booth twice a week around 1pm for free screenings! So worth it!

I signed up at Edge Fitness in Newark. Was really blown away by the Staff, especially Carlee (spelling?). She was so kind and thorough with explaining the Center and what it has to offer. When my son and I met with Chris, he took his time to go over everything and really made us excited to start exercising instead of being nervous. Can't wait to start and so glad i signed up at Edge Fitness.

I attended Cherish's yoga class today and it was excellent! The perfect combination of strength training, stretching, and relaxation.

I also love the Body Pump and Les Mills Core classes.

The movie theater is a lot of fun too.

Edge Christiana is by far one of the best gyms I have been a member at. Noel and Calvin are two intense but motivating trainers, who have your back no matter what. Lori and Christine are amazing spin instructors that will push you hard but make you strive to finish strong. All of the staff are there for you and happy to help no matter if they are busy or not. Would highly recommend this gym.

Hello Google Family!! I really enjoyed my visit here today. When I first arrived here, I fell in love with the area. I have always loved the Delaware area. I used to work in Wilmington part time as a Security Professional for Allied Universal. My site that I was stationed at was Aetna. I always enjoyed my times here. Always quiet and peaceful, not like Philly with the constant gun shots. I always wanted to live here, and I hope I will, before I die. I did my Weights workout while here and I videotaped my shots. I visited the Edge Cinema, where they had all updated equipment. I met a gym goer in the Women's Only area. Her name was Faith. She really motivated me to do more. Thank goodness, they accepted cash for my smoothie. Vincent, was the employee who assisted me with my Build a Smoothie purchase. Vincent had a nice smile and was so congenial. I really enjoyed our interaction and my smoothie. We talked about the newest Edge which is currently under construction, in Pike Creek, which is about 15 minutes away from here. I am looking so forward to visiting the newest Edge. I really enjoyed my time again today and I look forward to returning again.

I’ve only been with this gym a short time but I LOVE IT! With the intermediate membership ($22/mo) I am able to take as many classes of whatever I choose an unlimited amount of times :) too good to be true! All the equipment is completely up to date and very good quality. The community itself is very positive! Everybody helps each other out and cleans their equipment once they’re finished using it and say thank you when you’ve done the same! It can get very busy at times but I wouldn’t say that’s a negative on the gyms part. You can always look at the live updates on google to find out when it’s less busy so that’s really no prob! The gym takes covid precautions keeping all the treadmills socially distanced and all members have masks on. The staff is so kind and easy to work with. They never mind questions and always say “enjoy your workout!” When you come in and “I hope you had a great workout today!” when you’re leaving <3 The class instructors are very easy to learn from and are very welcoming. On the wall it says “BEST GYM EVER” And they’re not lying ✨😌

As one of their T-shirts say “Best Gym Ever”. Love this gym. Have been to different locations. All have been clean. Friendly staff. Their equipment is plentiful. Have participated in multiple Edge Challenges…always fun. I primarily use their Christiana Delaware location.

My wife and I joined The Edge @ Christiana Mall in November 2022 and have been in the gym on average 6 days a week. It is a large, clean, well-equipped facility. In addition to our membership, I have had a chance over the last 4+ months to work with Mark Ridley, a Certified Trainer, who was specifically recommended by The Edge Manager, Mike Lehman. I am a senior, and was just coming out of physical therapy and really needed a trainer who understood my prior injuries and made certain my workouts were appropriate and carefully supervised. Mark's knowledge and awareness of every aspect of equipment training, exercise science and kinesiology are remarkable. For anyone considering joining a fitness facility with general training needs, or specific training requirement/s with a superb trainer, I highly recommend Mark Ridley @ The Edge Christiana!

I've been a member since ya'll opened (see sign up photo in that tiny trailer!!!) It's absolutely one of my 'happy places!' The members are mostly pretty cool, helpful, and polite, sure it gets crowded, people 'camp' on machines buried in their cell phones, some don't wipe down or put their weights away, rude people talk in the cinema instead of doing cardio on the turf, that's any gym, BUT with The Gym itself, The Staff, The Trainers, are all FANTASTIC! They're always smiling, offering to help, answering questions, making suggestions, most of them know members by name (its like Cheers!) I love all of the options you offer, whether its cardio, strength training, resistance, machines, the classes, literally something for everyone! I'm so thankful for this gym, all it has to offer and all of the amazing people and friends I've met along the way! Special thanks to my trainer- Tyler Papineau for taking me on as a client! I'm sure I'm not easy to deal with LOL I'm wicked SHY and self-conscious but he takes the time to listen and strategize based on ME and not just a 'type' which means so much and makes 'the process' worth it! - BEST GYM EVER - *~GIN~*

Very nice gym. Casual atmosphere with personable regulars and staff. Certainly, a good variety of equipment for all of your bodybuilding needs. It can be busy during prime time after work hours.

From day one of them opening the staff has always remained nice, helpful and very pleasant.i love the great open space and the lighting of the gym. The personal training room for the women only is a awesome well thought plus. The bathroom and locker rooms are always clean. The sauna is also great!! I have not tried and classes but I’m looking forward to attending some real soon!! OH AND THE MASSAGE CHAIR IS FABULOUS 👍🏾.

Keep up the great work at the Christiana location.

As a person who always felt intimidated at the gym I finally pushed myself to go and found the most friendly staff and great amenities. Totally worth the price and now I’m going consistently. Shoutout to Pat, Matt, and Chad for making my experience a good one!

There's a movie theater so you can watch a movie and workout and not worry about the time.

I had Levi and several others not sure their names assist me with a billing issue. They took immediate accountability and assured me it was solved. Love this gym.

Best gym in the area, without a doubt. Friendly staff who regularly conversate with gym-goers. Super cool people in the gym, all the needed equipment. Shake bar, quality amenities. Great experience.

This is our new gym home. We love it. So much more to do. We love doing the group classes or just working out individually. We did personal training for a short time and really enjoyed our trainer John. He was very helpful. The staff here are very willing to assist you with knowledge on learning how to properly use the machines.
