Sea Howl Bookshop

The Sea Howl has a wonderful selection of books, including a section filled with works by local authors and others dedicated to local lore. The staff are always helpful and friendly. They also have a small cart near the checkout with some gently used books for purchase. The Sea Howl is tucked between some other great shops if you have other errands to run. I love that the health food store is right next door.

This is one of the best bookstores I’ve ever been to. It’s so lovely and cozy inside, and beautifully curated. I forgot the book I wanted to bring on vacation but found three great ones at Sea Howl. The owners have great taste and know what they’re doing.

A small bookshop with an incredible selection, including some really cute kids books I haven’t seen before! I scored a new cute journal and the owner was more than gracious with his time helping me find books from local writers and pointing me towards some other local spots to visit.

This small and utterly inviting bookstore is an absolute dream. I did not peruse the non-fiction, but the selection of fiction and children's titles is outstanding. Sadly, I live 2 hours away from this wonderful store and its kind and knowledgeable proprietor, but I hope to make the trip to Orleans more frequently in the future.

Absolutely love this store! I buy a book here every summer on our trip to the Cape. The woman who owns it is super friendly and helpful. I always love my time spent in Main Street Books and can't wait to return in Summer 2020!

The owner was extremely nice and friendly. They do not have any selection of horror and sci-fi novels however (my choice of books) but they were very helpful in finding me a nearby bookstore in which I could find some of that sort. My girlfriend loved the books she bought here!

Small but beautiful and clean interior, wonderfully curated collection with excellent customer service, and their website is the easiest to navigate by far. Anything they don't have, I order online and pick up a few days later after getting a text message notification. Also have puzzles, cards, etc in addition to books.

Stopped in to this new independent bookstore with my brother after reading about it in Cape Codder. My brother is always on the search for some obscure (in my world) book and/or author. Eureka! Jonathan, one of the new owners, knew precisely what my brother was talking about and HAD the book. A very successful interaction. Hope everyone will support this local bookstore!!!!

I absolutely love to patronize this bookstore. The sales people are so helpful and kind. They give discounts and excellent service. I consider Donna a friend. If they don't have what you are looking for, they order it and have it for you within a day or two.

Great little bookstore, in my opinion the best curated selection of new books on the Cape. For non-fiction fans, the philosophy section is excellent.
