The best equine vet I’ve ever seen. He diagnosed and helped my horse immediately. UT Knoxville and an equine vet in Shelbyville, TN had no idea what to do to help my horse but Dr. O’Brien did. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Dr. O'Brien is THE HORSE DOCTOR .COM! He is the very best. And he is the best because he loves his profession. I asked about retirement and he said, "I don't know how to say it but I don't feel like I have worked a day in my life" And that my folks is coming from a 74 year old man doing what he loves for 52 years and still counting! Because he loves what he does....it has never been work to him! I would say he is one of the few that is doing what God intended for him to do....this is his purpose in life and exactly why he is the best horse doctor there is. I am very blessed to know him. I think the world of him and love the wonderful person he is!

Hands down Dr. O’Brien is the best Equine veterinarian around. He has compassion for animals. I can’t even quote the number of horses that he has saved for us. His fees are responsible. We have been using him for 40 years.

Doc O'Brien has helped me with two adopted horses over the past 9 months. He's knowledgeable, a great teacher and a kind heart. He's very responsive and very generous with his time. I can't say enough great things about him and the equine services that he offers.

Great customer service.. amazing with horses. Got a dental for 2 horses and Tim was extremly gentle and very though on getting the whole mouth..not just the front..would recommend to anyone for equine needs.

Dr. O'Brien is very knowledgeable in equine reproduction. He inseminated my broodmare twice, first year with frozen semen (always tricky!) and second year with cooled semen and both times we got pregnant at the first try - highly recommended!!!

Dr. O'Brien runs this place all by himself. Very friendly quick service. He may be an older man but I don't think you will find a vet anywhere that know more then he does.
