Melissa LaMaster, APRN

After moving to Louisville it took me a while to be able to find a good doctor, a referral led me to Melissa’s practice. I can not say enough good things about Melissa and her team, from the speedy and courteous reception, to the lovely nurses who are always smiling, I always feel so well taken care of. Melissa herself takes time to get to know you, I never feel rushed on a visit. She takes time to listen, discuss and offer advice. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great and caring doctor.

Recently moved from Las Vegas to Louisville and was referred to Melissa. Best Physician I have ever had!! She is very educated and takes time to explain things, also she is a great listener and will go above and beyond to help you. She takes her time to cover all concerns.

Melissa is an amazing doctor. She cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen to you and makes sure she covers all bases. She is by far the best doctor i have ever been to. I will not see any other doctor.

She is a person that gets things done ..she will send u t a specialist if she dose not know for sure..she dose not dismiss ur complaints.so I highly recommend her

I did not feel the environment provided comfortable enough to voice my opinions on my medication. I did not feel myself and my conditions were being taken seriously. I was given what I'm aware are static responses. Efforts made on her part to learn about me and my condition were very light. I was encouraged to defer to her seemingly willingly uninformed view. When I built the courage to ask about the possibilities of therapeutic treatment for my long term condition I was heavily disencouraged and (unintentionally I'm sure) made to feel foolish, she cited potentially many months wait to even begin the process, and because of the condition I was in I deferred again. If all you need is a prescription then this place will be sufficient, but please look elsewhere for anything else.

I hate being a critic but you will be better off with someone else, my experience was a waste of time and potentially harmful to my health. Instead of listening to my diagnosis of my own body she sent me on a wild goose chase to get exams that were not relevant. The final draw was waiting an hour in the office and then she spends three minutes with me, I told her my throat still hurt and she didnt even look down my throat(I assume she was scared to pull down my mask as this was height of covid) The office is a one person office which is affiliated with UL health, I am not sure why they have am office with one Nurse practitioner staffing it and no MD.

Considering the litany of major health issues I've had to endure in recent years; a health care "professional" that talks down to me in sing-song tones as if I were an uninformed toddler...is unconscionable; to say the least.
Emily & Taylor were phenomenal and helpful for my first; and last visit. Remember; WE choose our health care team.
Not the other way around.

I went to her for anxiety medication and when i complained about my medication making me sick everyday and losing 20lbs because of it, she said it was okay because I was back to the weight I was at in high school. She was very dismissive and didn’t seem to listen to my concerns or feelings. Would not recommend.

So a month ago I left a negative review, today I received a bill that my insurance told me was never sent to them. Gee, talk about petty. - June 4th

Just for fun, I got a second opinion on everything Ms. Lamasters told me about my health. Not once did someone else agree with her. She either doesn't listen, doesn't care, or is just plain clueless when it comes to the medical field. My advice, go somewhere else.- April 30th
