Nice, enjoyable, quiet, flat, paved little walk. There are multiple routes to take depending on how far you want to go. My dog is older, so we don't get as adventurous as we used to, so this is perfect. There is parking on site, it can get crowded during peak times like after school and the weekends on nice days. There is a duck pond. Restrooms are available, as well as a play ground.

Beautiful park located in the heart of St. Matthews. I've been going to this park since I was a little kid (25+ years) and the beauty of it has not changed. They have made some improvements to the playground/restroom area so it's more family friendly than it used to be. They also go all out during the holiday season with Christmas lights, which look absolutely gorgeous and magical during the night. Definitely recommend Brown Park, unless you have a fear of ducks (this particular park is a popular hangout for ducks and ducklings).

I absolutely enjoyed my first-time experience visiting this park today! It was totally worth it, especially since it was only 10 min. away from me. Especially loved the clean, aesthetic look - you can tell the grounds are well-kept. I'll definitely be visiting again!

One of my favorite parks in Louisville! Great playground for kids and they even have a creek with Ducks to feed! My son enjoyed chasing them! And there is a hospital right next door just in case the duck doesn't enjoy being chased! Just saying... 😆

Happy Christmas and happy New year. Fantastic decoration at brown park. Nice decorating lighting effect, enjoy your evening. Very good park for kids playing and long walking trails. Nice small flowing ponds with many ducks. Recently renovated play area for kids is awesome.

We love Brown Park! It's great for just adults on the walking trail, which is completely ADA, and totally doable in a wheelchair. It's great for going with kids and playing on the playground or watching the ducks and geese in the creek. It's a great park.

I love Brown Park! I take my Yorkie, 2-3 times a week. They replaced all the black, crumbling walkways with concrete and made them wider so people don't have to stop to get out of the way. They have short walks and long walks depending on what you want. The ducks and geese are always fun to watch especially in the spring when they have their little baby goslings they're so adorable even though the parents hissit you to keep you away. An eagle scout did a project and he put a dispenser of pellet food for the ducks? it's only a quarter and you get a little bit in your hand to throw to the ducks. He also has a sign up explaining why you shouldn't feed the Ducks bread.
Go and see it now at Christmas because they have the whole upper part of the park up lit beautifully. Lots of people there and kids playing on the gym equipment. Everyone's smiling and happy. Everyone at the park is friendly.

Nice park with a long walking path surrounded by beautiful trees. There is also a relatively new playground that is good for kids 2-10 years old. There is a nice clean bathroom right by the playground too.

This is a beautiful, serene walking/jogging trail. It also has an open shelter with picnic tables & bbq grills near the children's playground. Cleaning stations, restrooms provided. Throughout the trail there are numerous places to sit and take in the scenery and it has two walking bridges over the stream.. This park is pet friendly and currently has Xmas Holiday lights within the landscape.

We love, love, love Brown Park. My son asks at least once a week to go. Feed the ducks, walk the trails, and finish at the playground. A full morning of fun times outside.

Brown Park is a lovely, beautifully maintained park near Baptist East that appeals to a wide range of people. There's countless trails leading around and through the wooded areas. There's a great picnic shelter for gatherings. Theres a great little playground always busy with little tykes. There's grills and picnic tables throughout. And last but not least, there's Bear Grass Creek running through it full of ducks and geese most of the year. In the recent past, they built a nice brick rest room facility which makes Brown Park even better!
