I was craving “the works” and drove out for it and it hit the spot! I also like the PCS. I used to go often when I worked close to this place. - The quality is consistently great at the in-person line in my experiences. I remember the staff being more energetic but they were nice enough.

The Food was so good my first time eating there. I had a kale chicken salad it was worth every dollar.

Trying a new place is scary but this one is worth it, food was fresh and it’s the healthy quick option for anyone with food restrictive diets.

One of the best places to eat healthy bowl! They have wide varieties of bowls and ingredients to choose from. Ordered Mayweather bowl and asked for stir fried tofu. Portion is also generous and a really good service. I wish they could expand this to the New York city or west coast and grow from here!

Although the serving sizes have decreased and prices have increased, the food here is still delicious, the staff is still very communicative, and the atmosphere is still clean and very hospitable!
I personally recommend an El Jefe bowl with the works (a splash of hot sauce and lime) to brighten up your evening.

I had to let someone know about the exceptional customer service I received tonight at the store on Main Street!! The women Ava Lamb, Baze, and Gabrielle will keep me coming back for more and more. These ladies need to be recognized because this kind of service is hard to find! They went above and beyond to make sure our bowls were fresh and keep a smile on their faces the whole time. I’m totally addicted to these bowls and now the ladies make me even more eager to come! Please give these ladies a raise and keep up the excellent work! See y’all later in the week!! This place serves excellent salad bowls which you can order off the menu or design your self. The prices here are reasonable given that the bowls can last for two meals and cost around $9.00. The employees here are always friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, natural modern.

This is a definite vegans option you can get the tamria or make you own it's def a different place now because of the covid restrictions but there is kind of sitting available it's the same set up as chipotle or vice versa not sure who open first but the line goes left to right not right to left definitely felt welcome that was the most important thing to me ..... lots more to say oh and something else I traveled 45 minutes to get there worth the travel do go out and get there for the beat bowl better then chipotle tbh...

Roots is the best restaurant of its type! It is a chipotle-style “go down the line and pick what you want” service but SO much better than chipotle or any other eateries alike! Their food is delicious, healthy, and all-natural. Amazing customer service and everyone is so nice. Definitely worth a stop is driving or walking through Newark, DE!

Awesome range of salad bowls. My go-to is the Mayweather: kale base with roasted sweet potatoes, beets, bulgur, avocado and goat cheese, topped with BBQ tofu instead of grilled chicken. So good, so filling.

Delicious options for meat eaters and non-meat eaters with options to change items to accommodate all. Clean, minimalistic atmosphere with friendly staff waiting on customers behind the counter. The restaurant is set up like the chains Chipotle or Moe’s, Subway, etc. All items of your dish are placed in a throw away bowl, then mixed in a stainless steel bowl with your sauce, back into your bowl (for there or to go) and topped with your grilled item. Quality ingredients, great flavor and generous portion. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Love Roots! Lots of options to customize your meal for your dietary restrictions and tastes. I enjoy their seasonal options as well. Highly recommend for a more health friendly option with large portion sizes.

I absolutely love your Mayweather salad 🥗. I can never finish it in one ☝🏽 sitting. I love guacamole 🥑 mixed in. Got a few people onto the roots crew also wink 😉. Thank you for saving my meal plan/diet. 😊

So delicious! I had the Mayweather and enjoyed every bite. I couldn’t finish it all but my husband was very happy to! Really glad my son has some healthier options while up there at school.

If you are looking for healthier options within your budget surely go to this place ....I am finding this popular among many people now more than chipotle ...food is delicious and in large quantities ...its better to get it as a take away !! Also you can customize a bit from the menu options replace something for another !!! I am a vegetarian and i get good options

Pretty standard line-style food. Pretty much like a chipotle or subway but for rice and salad bowls. Can’t really go wrong with any menu choice. Enjoy!
