Very nice experience!
We came here during the Christmas Eve afternoon.
An iconic hotel and this restaurant as a part of it.
A very rich history of this hotel, which was built in 1913, a lot of celebraties were here.
I've heard that Grace Kelly was proposed in this hotel.
The food was great, service as well (Jacky), and the guy at the front desk (Jack) left a very nice impression.
Music was not loud, clean space, superb restrooms.
There is a beutiful atmosphere and ambient at Le Cavalier.
We will come back!

Impeccable dining room -- feels like stepping into the past. Nice wine list, classic French menu choices.

The service was friendly. My server was slammed with needy people requiring their bills be split umpteen ways in time for the symphony or something. And she handled it well.

The French onion soup was rich and the broth was classic. I have never in my life complained about too much cheese but this was ... A LOT of cheese. The Branzino was very crispy and the accompanying vegetables were well prepared. The shrimp was all a bit high on the salt.

Would definitely go back.

For the quality of the food, the prices were right on. I found cocktail prices high.

Really enjoyed Brunch at Le Cavalier, There is some good varieties of dishes to choose from I got steak and eggs my wife had the egg wrap. Dishes are pretty loaded but not to the point where you can’t finish, of course I finished my wife’s potatoes 😉. Staff was friendly and very accommodating they were short but were handling brunch like champs good job guys! We loved and enjoyed the calmness of this restaurant and it’s sooo clean ++++. Finished off with a cappuccino and a latte and let me say the coffee was amazing. BARISTA APPROVED 😉. Will be visiting again would love to try out their diner menu. Definitely a good place to meet up with friends and enjoy great food and good vibes.

Go here now. We went for Easter brunch and it was tasty, decadent, and beautiful. The dining room is majestic, and the food is excellent. Everyone at our table, loved their meals. I had shrimp cocktail, the skate wing, and the sorbet. everything was top quality and executed very well.

Went there for brunch. Great atmosphere in a room that looks great, with high ceilings and beautiful decoration. The food was yummy, although I was expecting to find something more unique in the menu. I went with “le cav breakfast”.

Had a great anniversary dinner at Le Cavalier. Food was great and T was a great waitress. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is amazing and the food is really really good. It’s such a perfect place for a date because of how pretty the place is. We don’t have to reserve a table too long in advance which is nice. You HAVE TO get the chicken, its cooked perfectly with very nice mash potatoes. Overall, it was an awesome experience.

The whole experience was great. Our waitress was amazing. If you ever have the chance to go there, make sure that your waitress is Tee and the drinks manger is Robert. They made our experience here amazing. The food was good, my only complaint would be that the ceviche wasn't as good as ceviche that I have had in Colombia. But that's a minor complaint compared to how amazing everything else was. The atmosphere was a reminder of my times in Europe.

We went here for dinner and breakfast. The food was good, but it took a little while to come. Nice atmosphere too.

The service and food was an absolute 10/10. Our server was so nice and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. Every single bite of the beet salad, French onion soup, le cav breakfast, and crab cake salad was to die for. We will definitely be back soon!

Wow such a great dinner experience. The ambiance and historic room is so beautiful. The branzino was fantastic. Staff was all super friendly and able to accommodate a change in our party at the last minute. The wine and cocktail list is extensive. Would definitely recommend for a nice evening out!

Beautiful historic space with a great bar. Cocktails were worth it! The food was also quite nice. I really enjoyed the onion soup. It’s a great bar if you are in your own as well. Everyone was very lovely, including the team behind the bar. Definitely will be back next time I’m in Wilmington.

It was my first time there! And it was my boyfriend and I first anniversary together and Eric our waiter was so AMAZING! Absolutely made us feel special on our happiest day ever! Thank you so much for the wonderful atmosphere! Truly would 1000% come back everything was so delightful! ☺

Always an amazing experience at the Green Room at Hotel DuPont. Great wine selection, wonderfully creative food and excellent service. Live piano music provides an additional touch of elegance. This is a special place for special occasions. The room is breathtaking! It’s a must visit spot when you are in Wilmington.

Beautiful beaux-arts dining and room and bar. The food was excellent. I had a perfectly seasoned and medium rare steak, and the frites were outstanding. Cocktails were well made, too.

By our Northern NJ standards, the prices were a good value. The table settings are perhaps not on par with room and the food, a minor complaint. It was a bit quiet on a Friday night, but deserved to have been busier.

Steps you back intoo the decadence of an era long gone by. The Green Room is lavishly furnished and upholstered. The menu is relatively simple but very well executed. Steaks are prepared precisely to order and use high quality cuts of meat. Not highly recommended of there's anyone vegetarian or vegan in your group due to a limited serif options, but the kitchen should be able to accommodate most reasonable requests. Great for a fancy date night, big occasions and business dinners.

Beautiful renovation of the old outdated Green Room. Food, service and atmosphere were great. We had the French onion soup, Parker house rolls, lobster, swordfish and dessert and loved every dish. Also went back for brunch the next day and the ham sandwich on a baguette was delicious.

Executive Chef Tyler Akin isn't taking any shortcuts with this wildly impressive array of fine cuisine that represents some of the finest of the land and sea! Seriously, it's worth the trip from Philly/Jersey to experience this magic! That bar is at the ultimate slay.

It's just lovely. Just lovely. Nice that it has different menu items than most places, but the profiteroles are the best I have ever had and you can't find them many places.
