Barrique Bistro & Wine Bar

We accidentally sat down next door (which seemed very nice), but were so glad we recognized our mistake and moved over because this place was SO GOOD! We had such a lovely time sitting on the patio on what was probably the last warm day of the year. The spinach artichoke dip was good (but needed more bread). I enjoyed my lobster roll, but oh man the crab cake sliders my wife ordered were amazing! The peach sparkling wine was incredible too, like biting into a fresh peach.

I recently visited a cozy small restaurant on the shore of Lake Geneva. The restaurant is located in a two-story house, and it has a cute small dining area and bar with kitchen. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

We were seated outside, and we were able to bring our Pomeranian dog, so it's pet friendly. We ordered the guacamole, flat bread with burrata cheese, baked brie, and 6 oysters for $15.

The guacamole was fresh and delicious, and the flat bread with burrata cheese was also very good. The baked brie was a bit too rich for my taste, but my partner enjoyed it. The oysters were fresh and briny, and they were a great value for the price.

Overall, we had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the view of Lake Geneva was stunning. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a casual and relaxing dining experience with a great view.

We got the half cheese board and a spritzer all under 25. Everything was delicious. A perfect mid-afternoon snack.

Definitely love the crab cake sliders as well as the lobster bisque soup and drinks. I've been here a few times and will be back next time.

This little gem is worth a trip! It’s always busy and the staff is eager to take care of you. The food is good, wine list respectable, although small, and a good selection of whiskey. 🥃 It’s great during shopping to stop by, have an appetizer and wine, then head out for more shopping! Then back again when your shopping is finished! I recommend!

Stopped in here for a cool drink on a hot day before a touristy boat ride. I'm so glad we did. Hand crafted cocktails, plus a sufficient number of festive yellow umbrellas for shade, add-in people-watching, and lake views, equalled a five for us!
Wisco Mule (Door County cherry vodka, Barretto Ginger beer), and a Bloody Sunday (Jalapeño VODKA and an herb tomato blend) were very good. Would come back.

My family and I visited here over the July 4th holiday weekend. We got there right when it opened, so it wasn’t crowded at all. We sat outside with an amazing view! The waiters were both really accommodating and so sweet to our little one! And of course, the wine and food were soooo good. We ordered a couple of flights, the lobster roll, and crab cakes. We definitely recommend!

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch today at the Barrique Bistro & Wine Bar. It was a picture perfect day to sit outside and enjoy a fabulous meal, catered by a kindhearted, cheerful and attentive server. Every entree was outstanding - particularly the crab cakes and the poke bowl. This was our first time here - but it definitely won’t be our last! Highly recommended!

We Loved the place!! Cozy, clean super cute corner little restaurant, host and waitresses were super friendly and nice! Great Food and drinks! We really enjoyed our lunch there!!

Really enjoyed this quaint and comfortable winery. There was a vast selection of wines, beers and specialty drinks in every price range. Had to go with a flight to tastes a few. Next I added a cheese board and enjoyed all four (sorry I can't tell you their fancy names). The food menu was good as well and I honed in on some favorites, crab cakes and salmon, well "ora king salmon" which proved to be a good choice. Enjoyed a second meal from the leftovers. Can't forget the customer service which was excellent and friendly. Definitely a place to visit again.

The cheesy crab dip that they serve here is INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! You should stop by and support a very cute small business :)

Barrique is now my favorite place to go in Lake Geneva. This is a place fit for foodies. During our visit yesterday, they had a "Dip Flight" with a guacamole, salsa, and bean dip. The wine flight is always a great choice given their great wine menu. We also got the smoked salmon avocado toast. Its as good as it looks in the picture. During the colder months, they even have a "Soup Flight". When its not summertime crazy busy, this is a great place to come to, have some glasses of wine, and just spend a comfy afternoon trying different small plates. Skip everything else in Lake Geneva and make sure to come here.

Was very surprised by how good the food was. I Literally have no words. We ordered the artichoke dip, came back the next afternoon for the crab dip. Phenomenal. Drink were great too!

Really delicious food and delightful ambiance! We really enjoyed everything on the menu. My husband and I split a few things and they were all great. Wonderful service all around as well!

Everything flavorful, well done. Could not ask for better food. We did a bunch of apps and starters and the wine flight. Highly recommend! We had the brie, poke , crab cakes and spicy crawfish flat bread. Yummm! And of course a flight of wine to go with 😁

Perfect location. Menu is on point and wine list even better. Oysters were very good, crab cake maybe one of the best I’ve had.

We enjoyed outdoor seating. The food was good and great service. I had the crab cake sliders with slaw, hubby had the smoked salmon with bacon and avocado spread. Big umbrellas shaded us.

Very quaint and cute! Extensive wine, beer, and alcohol list. The flights are definitely worth the price and the way to go! Our charcuterie board was good, with an option to add gluten free crackers. The space is definitely more intimate, so expect a wait time if you're going during high volume.
