Yo can’t miss with breakfast here. This unassuming little cafe has all the breakfast classics plus great Moroccan/Mediterranean style dishes cooked by the owners (get the kofta breakfast, it’s amazing). The atmosphere is always clean and cared for, and the service is excellent. Shout out to Miranda, I seem to get her every time and she’s full of great recommendations and always remembers me. Can’t recommend this place enough. A hidden gem among casual diners in the area.

The food here never disappoints. My new favorite for breakfast is Sam's Omlet. The omlet is prepared with baby spinach, mushrooms, feta and mozzarella cheese. So delicious.

The staff is always friendly and food doesn't take long to come out of the kitchen. Of course time may very depending on time of day.

The serve Colectivo coffee and the staff keeps it coming.

Edit: Still a really nice place for an early morning start during the weekend. Wait staff are friendly and food is great. Tried the super hopple popple. It's very good and filling, but I made the mistake of choosing American cheese. Don't do the meal a disservice. If I had to do it over again, I'd have chosen a milder cheese like Swiss. Other than that, great experience. I want to get the Sam's omelette next time. Spinach and feta? Yes, please!

Very nice spot on Main Street in Waterford. After-church time wasn't too busy, and the service was polite, attentive, and friendly. Food was delicious. Fun fusion of Mediterranean food, which we didn't expect, but the Greek breakfast skillet was great!

Absolutely amazing. My first time here and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back and I will rave to everyone I know. I read through the reviews and I feel like the bad reviews are due to people not being used to food of this quality and presentation. This isn't George Webbs. You can tell they care about each dish that comes out. Every dish that past our spot made me go oh I want that. I had the batman special with housemade hot sauce. My little one had the mouse pancake. Well done. 💯👏

Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Our group had the omelette, eggs benedict and a skillet. Everything was excellent.

Modest cafe environment with excellent service, reaso able prices, and delicious food. Not the place for private dining, but perfect for that casual, small town feel. P.s. You'll clean your plate so take dessert to go! The chocolate dessert 😊

If you haven’t been, GO! Sam is an artist not just the one cooking. He puts his mortician spin into a lot of dishes. Get the Kefka breakfast!

Very diverse menu with options that are not normally available in the area (I personally opted for the lox and bagels which was amazing). Food was very good and the price is right. Definitely a new go to for me. Don't be put off by the fact that it's in a strip mall because once you walk in the doors you'll forget all about it.

Very nice, good food 👌,a hidden jewel. Have never been disappointed with food or service. Reasonable prices. Give it a try!! Mother's Day and Father's Day specials were awesome. Recommended.

If you want an amazing tasting breakfast this is the place. Spices are dead on here and the service is amazing. Will be going back for more and trying lunch and dinner. Very excited to have such a great place close.

Decided to try Cafe 36 because of the great reviews and wanted to try someplace new. Glad we did! Amazing food (some of the best corned beef I’ve ever had), great hummus and pita, and really good hash browns! Colectivo coffee is a bonus! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. We will be back!

My wife and I have eaten here several times after church on Sundays. The food is always good. They have the best hash browns. Service is always very friendly.

Ordered carry out. Was ready to go very quickly. Fair prices. And the food was delicious! Gyro meat was nice and tender and juicy. The falafel was the best I've had in a while and the Morracan breakfast was a hit. Even my picky 5 year old loved the Mickey Mouse pancake. Will definitely be back. Yum!

The food and service are great! I am an instant fan! The menu is unique for the area so it's a breath of fresh air. I absolutely expect to go back soon!

Wow! We are so glad we found this place.
My Wife and & I, along with our children, enjoyed the best Walleye Dinner we've ever had.
The unique large jumbo piece of fish was in contrast to the usual small-sized pieces served at most places.
To me this was more flavorful and tasty.
To top it off, the service was very good and the prices were quite reasonable.
We recommend Cafe 36.

I absolutely love shawarma and falafel. I eat both in Africa. I requested the chef if he could make the shawarma the same as I had in Africa. He did! It was awesome and I enjoyed it very much.
The young lady server was on top of her game without hovering.
We went back twice to enjoy the food. I also sampled the gyro. The meat and sauce was top notch. You must stop by and enjoy the fare.

I have been frequenting Cafe 36 since it was Sam’s in Tichigan. Such a nice warm atmosphere with quality dishes and friendly service. Sam is a wonderful person who doesn’t mind taking a few minutes to say hi. You leave the cafe feeling more like a guest than a customer. (I definitely recommend trying one of the tasty Mediterranean options on the menu.)

The food is fantastic very friendly wait staff and the cook was even friendly they are awesome people the restaurant is so clean I felt like I was in my grandparents home. Hands down the best place I'm town. We will for sure be back.
