Charlie's Place

I went here with some coworkers. I tried the Charlie burger. It was one of the best bar burgers I’ve had yet. I’m definitely coming back here.

Home town bar! Great place. Great food with burger of the month. Charlie burger is a must! Grilled chicken sandwich yummy. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal or drink.

Bartender was WONDERFUL. Tasty burger and appetizers at an exceptional price. Bright lighting and limited seating; we sat at bar. Sports bar atmosphere but friendly service and good food makes it a winner.

Loved everything I got aside from the fries. Chili, mini tacos, cheese curds, two different burgers, tots, and chicken strips were all fantastic. Honestly, the only thing I would upgrade would be the fries and it would only be by salting them right after they come out of the fryer. Best food experience I've had in a while, which is funny since it's a bar instead of a sit-down restaurant. Kelly was fantastic as well.

Pleasant company. This is a bar first with a nice barfood menu. The bartender takes your order and the kids in the kitchen whip it up. Decent deep fried and grilled selections while you watch a ballgame and talk with friends. The chili is actually very good, thin but full of meat and "substance". Not fine dining to be sure, but a pleasant road side diversion run by nice people.

This cool little burger place had the best burgers ever. Lots of fresh pattied hamburger on your bun with great selection of cheeses.
Onion rings awesome. The cook was and others were very friendly and welcoming.
Going through Janesville give them a try.

Heard of this place as a Facebook suggestion and decided to give it a shot. Well, we weren't disappointed. Kat and the regulars kept us entertained. We got big boy glasses of Gray's. My Charlie burger was amazing and my wife loved her chicken strips. Service was great as was the food for the price. We'll definitely be back.

Good place for lunch and a cold drink on a hot day. Friendly service requires you to come back and made to feel special. It's definitely not your "burger and cola" experience. I suggest anyone who see's this post to visit Charlie's Place. If for nothing but friendly environment

I have lived in Janesville a couple months now and have driven by this place countless times. I came in for the first time a few nights ago and was blown away. It has such a great atmosphere, wonderful customers, amazing food (I highly recommend the Charlie Burger), and a bar staff who was the most accommodating and personable I have had in Janesville. Make a stop by, you won't be disappointed!

Hard not to like this place. The people, the service, and the food. We're all excellent and I had a great time; again. This is going to be my bar in Wisconsin.
