Oakview Veterinary Medical Center

I appreciate the staff at Oakview. They are all very professional and kind. My dog Tucker is a nervous nelly. He takes alot of time and attention for appointments. When Tucker needs to be boarded I use them. He never minds going to stay there.

Our first time at Oakview, and we could not be more pleased. We just recently moved to the area with a new German Shepard puppy...he now has a safe, loving place for all of his veterinary needs for his entire life!!

I drive over an hour to go to Oakview because of the quality care they provide my pups. Everyone is incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful. My dog is nervous and reactive when she goes to vet clinics,=, and never once have I felt judged or rushed due to that. They've taken their time when working with both of my dogs, and Dr. Tschida is a vet I can't possibly recommend enough.

Oakview is the absolute best place to take rabbits. Dr. Scott is amazing!
I love how honest and straight forward she is about things. She gives you the information you need to make the best decision for your pet even if it's a hard decision.

What a wonderful team of people! Dr. Lauren and Dr. Scott (along with many other team members) cared for my sweet kitty when she wasn’t feeling well, and ultimately ended up saving her life. I can’t thank them enough for their consistent communication and for treating my baby like she’s one of their own. It makes my heart happy to see a staff that so whole heartedly loves what they do!

I brought one of my guinea pigs in to see Dr. Martel, the exotic species specialist. My guinea pig had seen her before at another facility, but at Oakview the location was much closer to where I live. Dr. Martel and her vet tech, Amanda was very caring towards my guinea. Dr. Martel was knowledgeable and explained things well when it came to treating my guinea. I will be coming back for all future appointments for both of my guinea pigs.

Oakview Veterinary Center has been taking care of our animals for several years. They are compassionate, caring, and considerate; the veterinarians, techs, and office staff all have been so pleasant to work with and extremely helpful. We love Oakview!

I took my 13 year old cockatiel in for a checkup. I had just recently moved to this area and was a little nervous to take my bird to a new vet. But it was the best vet experience I’ve ever had! The staff is so friendly and kind, and Dr. Anna Martel and a helping hand vet tech handled my cranky bird so nicely. Afterwards she was even calm and back to her usual self; something I never had before when I had taken her to the vet. I would not hesitate to come back and trust this staff with my companions health❤

We have been taking our two rabbits to Oakview ever since we got them! Could not be happier with the care and professionalism. I also really like that they have a mobile app and are very responsive to email questions

When my 11yo dog got sick we all feared the worst, and ended up being right. We took him to Oakview for an emergency appointment to find out what was going on, then his next visit was his humane euthanization. During both visits my Old Man was treated with the same level of kindness, and consideration that he would've have gotten if I were his Dr myself. If you're looking for a Veterinary Clinic that has as much knowledge as it does compassion, you've found it. I genuinely look forward to bringing my next pet to Oakview.

It's easy to get overly emotional about our animal family members. They tell us what they need, and we hope we hear them right. And when they tell us they are sick, we want them taken care of as soon as possible. But there are so many animals in need — serious, heart-breaking need — and the vets and the techs and the support staffs can only do so much. And when our animals are stressed with sickness or injury, our emotions can get the better of us if it seems the vet staff isn’t doing enough.

I had such a wonderful experience at Oakview Veterinary Medical Center today. Our little cat Polly has what looks like an upper respiratory infection. Dr. Curtis and vet assistant Alyssa took care of our little guy with just one hour’s notice! Polly already seems to be on the mend.

So I don’t want to get overly emotional, but the Oakview staff really cared for Polly and his worried human.

I was so lucky to find Oakview I got a bunny 7years ago and Dr Scott was amazing with her. Sadie had a GI issue and Dr. made a plan, but because of Sadie’s age she gave me a quote to make sure it was feasible. It was, and Sadie was feeling better in a few short days. When it came time to say goodbye to Sadie, you could see the sadness that they felt as well, and they were amazing at how I was feeling.
Now I have a dog and he loves Dr. Curtis and the tech assistance, They are always laughing at Baxter his little personality. One of his favorite things to do when he was little was to stand on the bed and make it rock back-and-forth. The tech in the room couldn’t stop laughing. Honestly, neither could I. Baxter has a lot of stomach and G.I. issues and they have been so good with treatments for him and they found the best supplement that I can give him every day. within a week I’ve noticed a big change, his coat is better he’s going to the bathroom better he’s eating better. I’m so happy I found Oakview veterinary medical center. I recommend them 100%.

Consistently impeccable and compassionate care for parrots. I felt welcomed and supported. Wisconsin is very blessed to have this oasis for our “exotic” companions. Thank you Dr Martel and Amanda! Beautiful work!

Great experience with Oakview. The staff was so understanding about the needs of our German Shepherd. Amanda our tech was super great and very professional. Dr. Larissa Raykowski was also super. Both took their time to answer all our questions. Definitely recommend this practice

This is my favorite vet ever. My beloved dog, Wilbur, was diagnosed with lymphoma and was given a year to live by UW-Madison Veterinary Clinic. Oakview was closer to home and was able to distribute his chemotherapy for four months until he was in remission, and then they put him to sleep for us after he came out of remission six months later. Every single person here was so great and gracious with us and our situation. They even sent us a bunch of personalized gifts in the mail once Wilbur reached remission, including a necklace with his name engraved on it, and I still have them all. When they brought his ashes out to my car window because I had a newborn baby in the car, they cried with me. I would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Hankison, who was by our side the entire journey. I also recommended this vet to a friend, and she has switched to them, because they were so great to her. Thank you for your empathy and all you do. I don't know how you do it. See you at the rainbow bridge, Wilbur.

Compassionate, loving, wonderful people!!! Vet techs were so careful and snuggly with our 13 year old Havemalt. Vet was amazing as well, explaining everything that was happening as we went along. I will definitely bring my little old man there again! Cannot praise them enough!

Best vet experience we have ever had! My dog is very anxious about needles and he had an incredible experience with no anxiety or issues getting vaccines or his blood drawn! Everyone you interact with is extremely kind and caring.

They are amazing! My first appointment was a very sad day.. they treated Tilly and I both with respect and compassion... Now my new rescue loves them as much as I do! They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns I have!!! They ROCK!

It was an emergency visit so it was pretty expensive. That being said the Vet Tech and Veterinarian were absolutely amazing!! I can't say enough about how kind and caring they were. We just moved to the area so this will be our regular vet. Thanks Oakview!!
