Mikey's Bar & Grill

What a gem! We were passing through for work and thought we could grab a burger. We were in for a treat!
The cheesecurds are fresh battered and SO good. The burgers were a huge hit as well. But we need to talk about the Rueben.... I am still dreaming about it weeks later! They smoke the pastrami in-house, and it is so flavorful and juicy. I cannot wait to come back!

Pizza was way bigger than I expected 🤣 but taste was perfect... for all 4 days that I ate it.

So dinner was at Mikey's Bar & Grill in Plover today.
First off the place was Beautiful, the place was relaxing and comfortable, our waiter was amazing. We had a Cheese plate, Cheesecurds and a Whitefish dip all three appetizers were amazing.
Then we ordered dinner even though we were so full. Again everything was amazing! It is listed as a 5 star restaurant and they live up to it. If you are in Plover Wisconsin I recommend going to Mikey's you will not be disappointed!

Good beer, good booze, good food, and good people.

I went rather late in the evening on a Wednesday, so it wasn't particularly busy.

Had great service from the bartender who was very knowledgeable about the massive selection of beer, and made a few recommendations that I tried, and they were all excellent.

I had a Pastrami Ruben, and my friend had Fish and Chips. Both were delicious!

And their house-made ranch dressing was just absolutely incredible.

I'm from out of town and it's unlikely I will be coming back to this area, but if I ever do, I'm definitely stopping in here for dinner again!

The honey glazed salmon is back! And, we'll be back to have it again. The cocktails were great, especially the old fashioned with house-made bitters. The best pub cuisine and one of the best dining experiences in this area. They must be a great employer as well, as Breanna seemed to really enjoy her job and has been there 6 years. We're excited for Mikey's to move into their new and bigger location across the street at Artist & Fare.

I stopped with a party of 7 who all had different meals and all were well presented and excellent. It's a bit pricey, but it was totally worth it. Service was great. I'd call it a nice looking bar and grill with very high quality food. Highly recommended.

Kim was an absolutely phenomenal waitress!! She’s incredibly knowledgeable regarding the menu & also has spectacular food & drink recommendations! I was honestly relieved to see she was our server again!! I will return strictly due to the outstanding service provided by Kim!!! Thank you for going above & beyond to provide exceptional customer service!!

I almost finished all my food before I remembered to take a pic for the post. DELICIOUS!!!! Service A+, greeted instantly and super fast service. Quality ingredients and presentation. Yummy beer and cider selection, full liquor bar. Has such a classy bar vibe and super chill at the same time. Tons of seats. Dog Friendly!! I brought my little one in a stroller and she was totally welcomed. Perfect spot for sports. Really clean. Cool TV mirror with their Weekly Beer List and thoughtful supplies in the restroom!! Nice touch!

We ate here while visiting the area and staying at a hotel on the other side of Plover Road. My wife and I both enjoyed eating here. The facilities were very nice (although the projection TV was a bit washed out while we watched the Packers game). Both of the beers we tried were excellent. My wife had a grapefruit beer and I had the Founders Bourbon Barrel Brown Ale. I had just walked 19 miles on the Ice Age Trail so we ordered two appetizers. The mussels were disappointing. They were cooked well, but there was very little flavor in the sauce. The Charcuterie board was Excellent!. We expected a few cheeses and we did have decent portions of three varieties of cheese. The several types of salami complimented the cheese well. In addition, there were nuts, figs, dried cranberries with some crackers and bread as well as a delicious jam. My wife had the squash/blue cheese salad with added chicken breast which was good. My Guajillo Salmon was also excellent with flavorful flaky Salmon and a tasty corn and black bean salsa. We would definitely eat here again. The music (a blend of oldies such as Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Durante) was good but seemed odd to accompany the football game. Our waiter, Connor, was attentive and did give some good suggestions for beer. We even took a growler of the brown ale back to our hotel.

Garlic Fries, Fish n Chips, Burgers, Parmesan Dip, Mac n Cheese, and White Chicken Chili were all incredible. Alejandro was excellent - great beer knowledge and superb customer service. Wish we lived closer so we could come back again!

Nevan is AMAZING! Great service, fantastic recommendations--we had the best brunch there. I highly recommend taking Nevan's advice and upgrading your vodka in your bloody mary. And the donuts are a must!

I spent a week in town and Mickey's had the best food and drinks by far. The cheese curds with cherry chutney were great. My main course was the honey BBQ pork loin which was amazing. The wait staff was great and really made my experience wonderful. I wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. They deserve it.

Food is still amazing. I will stop by here for dinner and a drink every time I'm in town.

Expansive drink menu and diverse food menu. Ordered the Jägerschnitzel and it was delicious. Served hot and crispy, atop creamy mashed potatoes. Definitely a favorite!

Great service! The atmosphere was nice and the food was all delicious. The truffle fries are awesome. Our waiter was very accommodating for our large group. For came out fast too. Will visit again.

I stopped here to have lunch while in Plover and it did not disappoint!

The waitress who greeted and seated (and served) me was super friendly!

I decided a burger would be great for lunch, but opted just the build my own based on the waitresses suggestion. Probably because I couldn't make up my mind 😆.

The beer menu is extensive and rotating. There is an overhead screen displaying what is currently available.

The wait was about 8-10 minutes. Not bad for lunch time.

The burger was really good! Most don't come on a soft brioche bun. And they seared the bun so the edges were crispy. Just the way I like it! Tje toppings were great. I didn't expect actual mixed greens as opposed to bland lettuce.

The meat was cooked medium. And while the waitress didn't ask how I wanted the meat done, it worked out.

I would go back again for and don't hesitate to recommend Mikey's.

Our experience was Great we started seared outside ,but decided inside would be better. The waitress had no problem placing us at a table inside. The drinks were excellent. Free samples of spotted Cow beer very tasty. Really had a great experience

Katie was our server and she was amazing!!! Bar is so cute and comfy! Perfect noise level.

We came to Mikey’s for my birthday and it was an exceptional experience! Our server, Deziree, was the best. Kind, gracious, knowledgeable, and on top of it! I was even given this beautiful free dessert with a lit candle to conclude my birthday meal. Thank you, Deziree, and the whole Mikey’s team! Best place to eat in Plover, and I’ll keep coming back!

So delicious (as always) went in alone with a novel and Makayla was very understanding and respectful about it too. She was so kind too! Also, I loved seeing mocktail options. Overall a great place for a solo-date night!

Hidden gem! Big city taste in a small town. Great food, unique environment and the best staff! We go out of our way to eat here whenever we are in the Stevens Point area, and recommend eating here to all our family and friends!
