DAILY TACO + CANTINA

This was a gem of a restaurant - everything we ate was better than the last, from the chips and queso to the tacos and the refried beans.

Also, the chocolate dessert...just WOW.

As gluten-sensitive folks, we appreciated the clear labels on the entire menu, and the extensive selection of items that we were able to order.

If in the area again, I'd absolutely make a point to stop here for another delicious meal.

Don't let the casual look of the restaurant fool you, not your average taco stand. Fantastic flavors and careful cooking and preparation await. Different taco preparation using only the freshest of ingredients will delight your pallet. Starting with their chips and homemade sauces you'll know you're in for a delightful meal. I had the fish burritos, but the steak tacos with the dipping sauce drew raves from others. Only suggestion is they may want to work on a little larger selection of Mexican beers.

When the owners of The Cheel open a taco restaurant you know it's going to be fantastic! Not your everyday tacos ... insert the tastes of Nepal and the Himalayan spices native to the owner's home. The birria is very tasty. The salsa options are all so fresh and fabulous!! Great menu selection. Full bar. Fantastic customer service. Outdoor seating options for the summer.

My husband and I were huge fans of The Cheel so we were excited to find out they opened another restaurant while Cheel recovered from its fire. You can order for dine in or pick up via the drive through. Dine in is ordered at the bar then seat yourself. We started with margaritas and their spiciest salsa (they have five that berry in heat). The margarita was authentic tasting but not too strong. My husband isn't big on spice but the heat doesn't linger so he enjoyed the hottest salsa.
The menu has you choose your protein then style of dinner: burrito, salad, protein bowl, 3 tacos. We ordered the lamb birria and pork tacos. The lamb birria was served with consome from the stew and there was melted cheese between the two tortillas. Typically I don't like double tortillas but the flavor of the protein wasn't overshadowed by too many carbs. I love the addition of pineapple too the pork taco.
There was not a lot of seating inside but the patio seating was abundant. We took our final round outside to listen to the band Jack and Jill Jazz that plays there every Thursday this month and next. The sound level was perfect, not too loud but we could understand the lyrics.
They had one server and one bartender. They were both friendly and gave us a nice history of the business and updates on Cheel. Despite the dinner rush, we were served quickly. They have an impressive business model and we cannot wait to continue supporting this new business!

As a business owner myself, it is so great to walk into an establishment and feel the energy and excitement of people that enjoy truly what they do. Chris from the minute you walk in has you, you might be able to look confused first cause the energy is so amazing, but you soon fall right in, I am So happy I found a place that has great margaritas and service in the same fashion that I strive to run my company. Kudos.

What a little slice of heaven!! Such an awesome place. Cheryl and Chris are rockstars behind the bar providing delicious margaritas and phenomenal customer service. The birria tacos and the smash burger were incredible!! Can't wait to go back.

Great place for Taco Tuesday and a Margarita! We have ordered take-out and done dine-in. It’s always been great and the portion sizes are generous. I love that you can choose from a few salsas with different heat options.

Stopped in for Lunch today and had some amazing food & service!

Started with the Chicken Taquitos. They are always a great choice. Then I got the Wagyu Beef Bowl and the flavors are out of this world. The food was so filling I had to take some home!

If you have not been to Daily Taco I highly recommend that you do. Your taste buds will thank you as you get to experience the amazing fresh ingredients they use!

One of the best Restaurants in Ozaukee County!

The waitstaff was super helpful with me having celiacs and pretty knowledgeable, especially the manager. Thank you for making my first takeout meal since being diagnosed very very delicious (and safe). The food and drinks were amazing🌮🤤 We will definitely be back!

Our first time here. So very, very pleased we came here. The food is divine! I knew it would be because it’s the same owners as the former The Cheel, which sadly succumbed to a fire a few years back. We had the Lamb Birria which was, truly, the most beautiful tacos I’ve ever had. Corn tortillas, filled with lamb and cilantro (no cheese for me but it does come with it normally), hard pressed so they’re a little crispy and served with a bone broth dip. Utter delight. And the guava margarita is perfect! Not too sweet. Just delicious. Something I’m sure to make use of in the colder months is the drive through. You can order online and pick up in a drive through! Even the margaritas can be picked up. Daily Taco is wonderful.

Best birria and place to get tacos in ozaukee area. They messed up our order one time and gave us a free dessert to make up for it (xocolatl pot de cream), which is something I'd never think to order. Now I get it every time I come back because its so good and the perfect portion size.

My husband and I were at Daily Taco and Cantina last month for a birthday party, first time there. Best tacos we’ve ever had!! We will be going back soon!!

Great taco's holy hell they were delicious. The lunch special is a good deal and for about the same price as a fast food meal you can get 2 taco's, beans, rice and a sofa. It's very much worth every penny.

My girlfriends and I tried The Daily Taco for the 1st time and it was Absolutely AMAZING 🤩 From the moment we walked in the door I was hooked. The staff was super friendly, fun and engaging. It was so refreshing to have a truly delicious meal and overall great experience. I’m already planning my next trip🌮

Really great food. Had the queso without chorizo and it was one of the better queso dips I've had. I got the lamb tacos and they were amazing. Street corn and chimmichangas were solid. Will definitely be going back for margaritas, queso, and tacos!

Oh man where do I start? The food is impeccable, honestly some of the best Mexican food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The food wasn't the only good part either! Chris, part of the wait staff was so beyond helpful and nice and informative about the menu! On top of that he was very patient and kind with us! If you were debating whether or not to eat here or somewhere else, choose here! You won't regret it!

Some of the best tacos in the Midwest. Gotta go to Chicago to find tacos as good as these.

Their barbacoa birria tacos are the absolute bomb. Chips and salsas on point. Margaritas dank as hell.

The only critique I have is their rice is bland and flavorless. I know they can step up their rice game and become the best Mexican restaurant in Wisconsin.

The dudes working there are super chill and cool, very knowledgeable.

The restaurant looks like an old pizza hut on the outside, but inside it's a cute little dining space with a large bar in the center of the room. Bunch of TV's, lots of comfy seating, intimate atmosphere.

After being recommended by a friend, we checked out Daily Taco for dinner. It has quickly become one of our top spots when we go out for a bite. Between the food, the drinks, and the service, this place is 5 stars. The enclosed patio in the back is a nice change of scenery versus the roads and strip mall parking. We love catching lunch or dinner here, and the service is fast.
