Athletico Physical Therapy - Grafton-Cedarburg

I am currently a 3rd year graduate student of physical therapy at Concordia University, and I just spent the last 10 weeks with Brian and Amber for one of my clinical rotations. I could not have had a better experience. Brian is an incredible clinician who stays up to date on the current research, has years of experience, and is an amazing educator for his patients. As a patient, you will feel equipped with knowledge and understanding. Both Brian and Amber are incredibly positive and caring individuals that truly go above and beyond to make you feel supported and understood. I could not recommend this clinic more. I have learned so much and seen so many positive patient outcomes, and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to grow under such a seasoned physical therapist.

Athletico Grafton provides excellent, goals-based physical therapy. I have worked with both Greg and Martha and have found them both to be knowledgeable, empathetic, and skilled. I have learned so much about my condition post-surgery and feel that my needs are heard. I have received physical therapy at other locations prior to this point and can confidently recommend Athletico over them all. They have helped me navigate the variety of exercises and treatments that are available as I recover. As an athlete I am highly impressed with the level of care I have received, the flexibility of scheduling, and the empowerment of learning more about safely returning to my every day activities.

Brian and Amber are awesome! My experience at Athletico has been very good.
Brian starts every session asking how I am feeling, and adjusts the plan for the day accordingly - balancing pressing forward with healing without causing more issues and steps backwards. He does a great job explaining what’s all going on and what we can do to get better, including things for me to do at home.
Scheduling has been easy to find times that work in my schedule.
All in all, I strongly recommend the team for your therapy needs!

My husband put off knee replacement surgery suffering with bone on bone pain for 10 years. He went for physical therapy before and after surgery to Athletico and could not be more pleased. He worked with Greg and his depth of knowledge and thoughtful approach led to great results. He would give more than 5 stars if possible. Highly recommended.

I started going to Athletico in Grafton for knee and back pain. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Brian assessed me and explained a detailed plan of action. My pelvis was totally out of place and he relieved a lot of my pain in our first visit alone! Since then, my pain has continued to improve with exercises and even some dry needling!! Brian is so incredibly knowledgeable and nice. He always listens to me and explains everything in detail before we do it! I cannot thank him enough for everything he’s done! The facility is clean and professional. Also, shout out to Amber for keeping everything running smooth! She is the sweetest!!

I came to Athletico PT after a knee replacement surgery. I was determined to work hard on my PT to get moving again. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt at ease. Amber was welcoming and friendly, getting my insurance processed easily, and checking my temp to keep the place Covid free.

Brian made PT fun. He has a jovial personality and is super easy to get along with. He starts every visit checking on how you’re feeling. He lays out a plan for your therapy, so you both understand the expectation. He is very talented at his skill. He challenged me, and made me want to work harder!

The location is great and getting an appointment to fit your schedule is easy.

Brian is very knowledgeable and experienced at what he does. He lays out a clear treatment plan based on your doctor’s prescription as well as listening to your own concerns and present situation. He is a good listener and empathetic but also pushes you to keep improving. After having gone to PT for various reasons over the years, this experience was the first that was 100% positive for me. Not just for the therapy, also whole setup from his kind assistant, Amber, to the well equipped facility itself and the prompt billing to insurance by Athletico (their rates are much more reasonable than my normal healthcare provider’s PT). Finally, everything is kept clean, uncrowded and safe in these Covid times.

After a serious fall that broke a bone in my knee, which required surgery to repair, I needed to seek therapy to regain strength in the leg and flexibility in the joint. I opted to go with Athletico Physical Therapy in Grafton, WI for this treatment. I truly feel that my involvement with Athletico has been the best physical therapy that I have ever experienced. I cannot say enough good things about both Brian Vetterkind, my physical therapist, and Amber Rebholz, the Office Coordinator. Brian was a terrific therapist who convinced me that I was going to be able to walk normally again and gave me the confidence that I will only improve as time goes by. He made sure I received the correct exercises and instructions to enable me to get back on my feet much sooner than I thought possible. His personality worked very well with mine and I found it enjoyable to come to my appointments even though he did put me through quite a thorough and rigorous therapy regime. Brian was kind, caring, upbeat and had a great sense of humor. Amber was also so pleasant to be around and very competent and accommodating in handling both the scheduling of my many appointments and dealing with all the insurance details. It seems that these staff members work very well together.
There would be no doubt at all that I would return to this Athletico facility if a need ever arises again. I sincerely recommend Brian, Amber, and Athletico Physical Therapy to anyone in need of any type of rehabilitation. You will not regret your choice in selecting Athletico for your required treatment.

Brian and Amber work very well together. I had been working with hip issues for years. Brian was my 4th therapist. Because of Brian's ability to think outside the box it is resolved. Brian taught me how to "fix" it if symptoms reoccur. I trust him, his experience, and his ability to critically think completely. (I am no longer anxious about dry needling. )
Definitely recommend.

Brian was referred to us by an excellent hip surgeon in the Mequon/ Milwaukee area to treat our daughter after a very invasive hip dislocation surgery. Brian is very knowledgeable, attentive to every detail, has great positive energy and so caring. Our daughter liked working with him. Thanks to Brian and all the therapy our daughter has recovered better that her surgeon anticipated! We couldn't be happier with the results!! Also, Amber at front desk, was friendly, great and easy to work with. She was so helpful with follow ups, setting up appointment and looking for alternatives etc. Highly recommend them!

Brian and Amber are exceptional people. When you walk in, Amber always greets you and I know she has a smile under her mask. Scheduling my appointments is easy and she makes it work for me. Brian is very respectful and full of knowledge. I assume that not too many people say that they like going to PT, but I do. They both push me into getting better/stronger and I appreciate that.

Very nice facility and Greg is an excellent therapist. Would recommend to anyone. He enjoys helping people and is very knowledgeable. My condition improved and I now understand how I can continue to keep it from recurring.

So my review is long over due! I was in therapy for a work injury during Covid. I have used the same provider for 15+ years and was bumbed when my family caught Covid; delaying my PT. Thankfully, I was referred to Athletico who offered video visits. The team was Absolutely Awesome! I couldn't have asked for a more flexible, attentive team than the Grafton team. They even modified their locations based on my work schedule. How AMAZING is that? Their customer service is much more than you expect in the medical arena. I am a verified customer and will be returning for any future needs. I have also recommended them to others seeking good PT providers. Awesome and considerate!!!! If you want to feel like you are truly being cared for in a honest genuine heart felt manner...this is the place!! This group of people... Brian, Nicole and Amber are the most AMAZING caring, kind and genuine human beings I have ever had the honor to meet, not to mention see 3 times a week! The style of PT makes me want to excel on a daily basis!! Not only the expertise on the physical but they simultaneously took me from the beginning of a depressed state into a renewed positive outlook on life! Everything that you could ask for in post-surgery rehab. Easy scheduling and flexibility, helpful and committed staff. Always felt that it was a team effort and hated the process but enjoyed my very qualified therapist and am thrilled with the results. Not sure what they could do to improve the process.
