I was recommended this repair shop from a friend after a dealership tried to scam me for repairs I didn’t even need. Jim is extremely friendly and honest about what I actually needed. He is also very knowledgeable and lets you know your best options. If I ever have an issue I will not go anywhere else but here!

Absolutely wonderful people! I called to see if they could get me in the next day for (what I thought) was a simple brake job. They had a cancellation and were able to fit me in. Unfortunately, I had far more damage to my brakes than I ever expected. They made sure to walk me through all of it over the phone, and even said if there was something they could hold off on doing to reduce cost, they would but all of it was essential. It took them all afternoon but they got the job done flawlessly and never were rude about the time. When we picked up my SUV, they actually saved some of the parts and showed me the rust and damage. Highly recommend!

Jim is very friendly and trustworthy. He explains everything in detail which is nice for people like me who know nothing about cars lol. I live in waukesha but will always take the drive when I’m having an issue with my car because this is the only place I take it to now.

Our little Nissan needed a new clutch and was barely drivable. Also, a week before I brought it in, someone side-swiped it while it was parked outside our apartment and completely destroyed the rear driver-side light assembly. Jim and his crew did a great job on the clutch. She drives like new! They also replaced the light assembly, and it is perfect. The repairs were done quickly and for the price I was quoted. 10/10 would recommend!

I don't know how to put into words, just how amazing these guys are! I was searching for months to find a place to fix my exhaust manifold issues, no one wanted to do it because of how much trouble it would be, I even had a place keep my vehicle for a week and they decided it was too much work. I was given quotes as high as $2,300. I took it to J & S and dropped my vehicle off Tuesday morning, had it back Wednesday evening and I paid nowhere near $2,300. J & S did an amazing job on my vehicle, any work that I can't do myself, I will take to them and I would highly recommend them to others.

I have not lived in the Milwaukee area very long, but I am glad that I decided to bring my Cruze here. Jim is an honest person and explained everything very well. He took care of me and I will bring my car here whenever I need work done. Will definitely recommend people to bring their vehicle here if they are in need of repairs. Could not be happier

Best. Mechanic. Ever. Jim is the most honest, reasonably priced mechanic I have ever been to. Not only that, is they go through great lengths to make sure your car is running safely and like a fine tuned machine. The guys there are always friendly, and the owner, Jim, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I recommend this place to everyone!

Best mechanic in town! Jim is always honest & fair. He'll try & fit you in, even if he's busy. They're all pretty fast, efficient, & thorough. Great atmosphere. I wouldn't go anywhere else, for even an oil change!

Jim is one of the most honest mechanics you will ever meet. I've been going to him for almost 2 years now and I've sent a handful of friends. All of us only have good things to say about him and his crew! Will not take my car anywhere else.

I don't take my cars anywhere else. These guys are simply the best in town and have reasonable prices.

They have checked out my cars and actually undersold work, telling me "You can avoid having this done for a while, the part still has life in it"(And still be safe). This was incredibly refreshing to hear. Every other auto repair place in town are always trying to up sell everything. Jim and the guys are honest.

I can’t imagine anyone having a problem doing business with Jim Diehl, owner of J&S Accel. My car repair guy now for over 30 years, Jim is a personable hands-on business man and mechanic who works alongside employees in his shop. Jim takes time to explain things before proceeding with work. With numerous years of experience, Jim is extremely knowledgeable regarding diagnosis and repair. He provides fair estimate of costs and telephones or consults with his customers when additional problems are found. Customers are free to decline recommended services. Jim’s goal is to have customers NOT spend money on auto parts and services except for what in fact is needed.

Honest mechanics are hard to find, which is why my wife and I drive 20 miles past lots of other garages to visit this guy. Not the cheapest, but not overly expensive either. This place is insanely busy.

We have local garages to handle scheduled oil changes and tires, but this is the guy for hard to diagnose or advanced or extensive work.

The waiting room is unusually clean and interestingly decorated.

A very down to earth and wonderful owner and workers. Fair pricing and my car feels at its best now. I will be back for service in the future!

I got halfway through replacing the front subframe on my car and rounded/snapped a handful of bolts. I decided to give J&S a call to see if they would help. The owner told me "he was crazy enough to try." They were able to complete the repair, help me identify other problems that the car was having, and even replaced an indicator bulb and topped off the fluids for me. I absolutely reccomend taking your car here if you want honest professionals to help you with your car.

J &S helped me after I had a terrible experience at Breager Ford. Breager didn't finish some warranty work, then wanted $135 just to diagnose the problem. I brought it here and they diagnosed it and fixed it for me. I will be coming back. Great people. Great job.

Quality work, Jim and his guys are great at what they do. Prices are always reasonable! Ive used jim now for almost 7 years, my fsther inlaw for over 20 years. Highly recommended!

I actually didn't have a chance to make the appointment setup by Jim (due to the criticality of the issue), but he was able to help me out greatly regardless of me taking it in. He took the time to research a bit and do a follow-up even outside of me coming in. Top notch communication and friendliness. Would recommend to anyone.
