SKOL Bar & Grill is now the Friendly Tavern

I had a really awesome burger and fresh cut fries at Skol Bar & Grill in Frederick, Wisconsin. The friendly owner created many interesting burgers for the menu; he also makes a delicious sauce for dipping, marinade or sandwich spread that is available for sale. He put a lot of effort into improving the aesthetics of the bar; it has rustic and modern elements and was very clean. Pool table in back, games dispersed throughout. The owner performs in a band at the establishment. I'll definitely be back to try another burger and catch some live music.

I'm not a bar person, but I love The Friendly Tavern! Bartender Hailey is great; burgers and cheese curds are awesome. I'll be back!

Ordered 6 shrimp baskets 3 hours in advance when I went there to get them they were all ready and cooked to perfection. The fries were great and seemingly uses separate oil to cook them cause they were great 10/10 would recommend

We had been at a family members house on Christmas Eve too visit and on the way home, we wanted to stop and get dinner. The only place serving was Friendlies. We stopped and got a drink, appetizers and burgers. The food was delicious, all of it was served hot and had great flavor. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we were given and we received everything we had ordered.
The customer service was efficient and friendly. We were made to feel welcome there. The bar was busy when we got there and more people kept stopping in. It was a very nice outing. Our service was great and we weren't held up waiting for anything.
I'm very glad we decided to stop for a drink and a burger, it made our night complete.

Super nice place. Great service and burgers were very good. The owner was super nice and he’s done a great job updating. If you haven’t been here give it a try and I’m sure you will come back. We will definitely be back!

The only guy working had a full bar of drinking and eating customers. Some how it didn't feel like we had to wait much longer than any other restaurant. Burgers were amazing! Service beyond amazing for what he was dealing with. Honestly probably 25 people. Fries got over cooked but it was no big deal he would have remade them if we asked. Thanks for staying open from your mn friends!

Been there many times and it was good last night beyond terrible bartender was beyond rude and had no time for us she should not work at this type of job

I was biking on the gravel trail that runs through town with a couple friends, and we stopped here looking for something to eat. we got some burgers and pretty much inhaled them upon their arrival because they were so dang good! A+

New manager or owner (not sure )was very friendly. Great bartender. Haven’t tried the food yet, but plan on it.

I has a can of soda and an order of Cajun pickle chips. The pickles and the dipping sauce were tasty. Ate them too fast to take a pic.

The new name says it all,my friend and I stopped in to the friendly bar and visited with many friends I haven't seen in a while. Good service great prices. I'll be back.

Burgers were good and hit the spot. Beer was cold and the young lady was great.
