Have had Phil and Keesha cutting our family’s hair for quite some time now. Haircuts are great and so reasonable, definitely a bargain for the great job they do. They are also just so kind and friendly, making for great conversation!

They were so sweet to me! I'm a bit awkward in some situations but the atmosphere was immaculate and the workers were so kind. I requested a wolf cut and they let me know how it would look with my hair type being a bit thin.

I kind of wanted it more on the mullet side regardless and was prepared for that but I really appreciate them checking in and making sure I knew what I was getting myself into beforehand. I'm in love with the turn out, and the price was so low for the cut that I feel they're low balling themselves, definitley tip these lovely people for their worth if you're in a place to do so 🥰

First it’s a family business, when you enter his establishment, you have a warm, secure, feeling, it’s like going to a friends house. Service is outstanding, prices are very reasonable, and their attention to detail is unbelievable. with all the stereotypic barbershop movies out it’s refreshing to feel that this barber shop is more like Howard’s barbershop on Andy of Mayberry , where are you can just B U.

This review should have already been written. Have been going to this barber for probably 7 years now... they're both fantastically skilled and you have to appreciate the warmth you only get from a truly family business. They even (slightly) raised their prices recently and its STILL the best value in the city.

This is my favorite place to get a cut in MKE. Phil does a great job every time I see him. Staff is extremely friendly. The cost is so reasonable as well! Their standard priced cut is the same quality as a $40 cut somewhere else. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a haircut in Milwaukee.

This was probably one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. I was in and out the door in about 20 minutes, but the quality of the cut is like something I have paid $30-40 for. The barber shop is very clean.
They also have an online system for making an appointment, which was very easy to use.

Phil has been cutting my hair since I was 16 (13 years ago) and is truly a master barber. The blend of skill, charm, and ridiculously low prices is unmatched not just in MKE’s barber scene, but probably amongst any service sector in the city. I consistently get compliments on my cuts, and always refer people to Be U. People are floored when they find out how reasonable the prices are. I can’t recommend enough!

Got me in last minute and did an excellent job. I feel like I have a difficult cut and she did it quick and well. Cost less than the average barber too! Highly recommend

I've been coming here for the past 4 years and even though I no longer live on the East Side, I still drive across town to get my haircut here. Phil and Keisha are so personable and I still wonder how they remember everyone who keeps coming back. I've never had anyone else cut my hair with such attentiveness and precision like these two can. They run a great family business and I'm shocked the price for a men's cut hasn't risen above $10 since I first discovered them!

Terrific place in Milwaukee for a haircut! The owners, Phil and Keisha, are both friendly and do a great job. I have been going here for years and recommend to call or text ahead to schedule an appointment. $12 for a haircut is a great deal, plus a generous tip! The price and service beats any other place around.

I just moved to Milwaukee and was nervous about finding someone to cut my hair. I had always had a person I regularly went to back home and was not looking forward to searching for someone else. After looking up some places on Google, I saw that Be U had very good reviews and was close to my place. I decided to try them out and was very happy with the result. Phil does an amazing job! He takes his time and listens to what you want. He also gave me some tips to improve my hair. A great haircut for $10!

This is a great location for college students on a budget who may just need a trim/clean up. Location is very close to campus. The price has changed from $10 for women's cut to $12 but I think this is a fair and standard price. Way cheaper than the expensive salons around the East side. The couple who own the shop are always friendly and the little ones are never a bother when they are at the shop.

As a college student, I always go to Be U Salon for the great prices, welcoming company and of course, their proficiency in cutting hair. I usually have Phil cut my hair, but his wife seems equally fantastic. I strongly recommend this barber shop to anyone in the area.

Very good place to go. Extremely cheap price for a hair cut, $12. Phil knows what he's doing and can take care of you no matter what style you want. I recommend calling or texting so you don't have to wait around for the people that called or texted their spots to get their hair cut.

As a student at UWM, I was looking for a place close by for a haircut. The reviews here seemed positive, so I went. I was not disappointed. Phil cut my hair and made sure it looked good throughout my visit. He also asked me how I was going to style my hair and took that into account. I will definitely be going there again. For $10, this place is the place to go.
