Remington's River Inn

We had the best dinner, starting with the bear claw appetizer, which was a delicious surprise with the topping on the mushrooms. The French onion soup was really delicious and rich with flavor. I had the Chicken Marsalis for dinner with egg noodles, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I'll be back a hundred times. Did I mention our wonderful waitress.. she was such a delight and really enjoyed that we were enjoying our evening.

The food here is great! The meatloaf, Ruben, and Santa Fe wrap were wonderful! I would high recommend any one of them if you’re coming here. The waitstaff was very nice and quick to get our food out and get us seated. The prices were about average and the portions were very good as well. I would stop by and give them a try if you’re thinking about it. I’m sure I’ll be back here in the future!

My husband and I love this north woods cabin style family restaurant. The bar has a nice specialty cocktails list as well as wines. The beer menu only listed bottles but I could see they have at least 15 beer options on tap. I'm not sure if they're not included in bar menus because you can see the taps? Maybe they are included with dinner menus but I didn't sit in the dining room.
My husband and father in law love the reuben, saying it's one of the best in the area. I love their crab cakes and often order them with a side caesar, which is standard but good!
On this trip, I ordered to go and it was a thirty minute wait (I called at 6:00). The kitchen is small so you have to be patient but it's worth it. While I waited one of the managers initiated an awkward confrontation with staff which I found uncomfortable. I understand the serving station is directly next to the bar, but there should be a more discreet way to go about that.
My husband and I ordered the bear paws, reuben, and steak sandwich. I was pleased that they asked for doneness on the steak sandwich and even more pleased when it came medium rare, as ordered.
If you are in the area, I urge you to check out this laid back bar and grill!

We had our company Christmas party here. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting - really enjoyed the fire pit outside. The waitstaff was probably the most incredible thing. There were so many of them and they were so attentive and friendly. If we needed something they went to get it immediately. You didn't need to hunt them down to remind them. Highly recommend to anyone.

My partner & I stopped for his birthday meal & the staff was great.I really enjoyed my filet at first I thought it might be too small but it was perfect. I would definitely go back here! Loved the view of the river - they have some beautiful outdoor seating - even though we chose to eat indoors.

The best baked French onion soup I've ever had hands down. Perfect balance of spices and herbs and not salty despite the cheese on top. The fliet mingon was so tender I cut it with a butter knife (ordered medium rare) and the flavor was tasted throughout the entire steak not just the top in the middle. Garlic mashed potatoes were good, almost had a bit of a crust on them like they were broiled which was a nice change of texture. The vegetables du jour were cooked perfectly and crisp not soggy and not overly seasoned. Perfect spot to stop for a dinner on the river with a cozy cabin feel inside.

Love this place! The food was very good, hot, and served promptly. Our waitress was absolutely delightful and the ambiance here is incredible!!

Bruce is the absolutely best bar tender / person I have met in a long time. Great personality, so enjoyable. Restaurant had a beautiful essence. Loved the special and the steak sandwich! Yum! We are so coming back.

Very good service, efficient, friendly. Food was hot and delicious (chicken marsala over noodles). Chicken soup was also very good, lots of dumplings and vegs.

Cozy place with great food! Their pizza is also amazing. Our family has been coming here for years and is one of our favorites in the area. Great outdoor patio overlooking the river. Great spot!

We randomly tried Remington's based on our inherent love for dogs. We were not disappointed. One of our party has odd dietary restriction that were not a problem at all. The wait for our food was as would be expected to know the food is being prepared freshly.. We both had steaks that were prepared exactly as ordered, melt in your mouth texture and exquisitely tender. The salad was crisp and fresh. The blue cheese dressing was thick and flavorful without the bite that sometimes accompanies blue cheese dressing. To finish the meal we chose the lava cakes. Soft chocolate center with a delectable vanilla bean ice cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel. Waitstaff attentive without being annoying. Highly reccomended.

Located in the quaint berg of Thiensville, lays a destination very worth stopping in- Remington's River Inn. From the outside it is unremarkable, but behold the splendor once you enter the portal of this really cool place. I could go into descriptions of the fantastic layout, but pictures speak louder than words. Want to watch a sports event, this is the place (they even have a popcorn maker for those who love to munch while watching the Packers/Badgers!!! Want to have an intimate setting with your lady, this is the place, want some out door fresh air, just step outside on their beautiful patio with a breath taking view of the River. This is the place. Cozy, relaxing, as well as great food! Amy the proprietor makes a wicked Bloody Mary and Charise is right there if Amy is pouring for the rest of the bar. Good, quick service. Waitress was awesome! Decent beer selection, and the French onion soup was great. Sitting on the back patio overlooking the river was a highlight.

Always a good local choice. Featuring a very hip hallway and a sweet little riverside dining area. Has been good to us with both small and large groups. It’s a local favorite for us.

Was out shopping in cedarburg and decided to stop here on the way home. Oh my goodness. The foyer is absolutely gorgeous!! We sat outside and it was set right on the river. It was an amazing view. Very relaxing. My daughter ordered an individual pizza, my husband had the chicken wrap and the fish sandwich. All three choices were delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Remingtons is an amazing bar, great drinks, food options looked delicious. Bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. Great beer selections, wonderful old fashions!

A superb hidden jem with excellent food, service, and ambiance. Not to be missed!

Really nice. Fast and friendly servers. Can't beat the fish fry with tater tots! Lots of seating, so the wait isn't bad and worth it.
Nice view from the patio or be comfy and cozy inside. A nice place to dine with friends and family.
