Fun atmosphere restaurant and bar with a little shop with unique wines and liquor choices. Service was unbelievable and very informative. We enjoyed our entire meal from the starter to dessert. We will definitely come again.

Had an outstanding breakfast yesterday at Story Hill BKC, courtesy of our server Elizabeth A. We walked in about 10:30 to a very busy restaurant, but were seated immediately. We ordered the Crepe Monsieur and the Madame Benny (a special of the day) with coffee. The food was exactly the same as it always is - absolutely delicious and wonderfully plated. Elizabeth was sweet, kind and attentive to all of our needs. One thing in particular we love about BKC: when the food is ready, it's immediately brought to the table by another dedicated server. It doesn't have to wait until your assigned table server is free. That makes the whole process so much more efficient and really makes you feel like you're being cared for by the whole BKC team. Love it! Highly recommend Story Hill BKC for your next meal out. Ask for Elizabeth when you visit - she'll take great care of you!

We have been to Story Hill BKC several times and have always had great service and delicious food. During our most recent visit, our server Amanda was so personable and very attentive. She anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to give us a top-notch dining experience. Every dish we’ve ever tried here has always had delicious flavor combinations. You really can’t go wrong! p.s. The flakey dinner rolls are a must!

Great location, amazing service and menu choices were good. We purchased a cocktail flight. We loved the Cold Brew Martini. I also purchased wine from their retail section.

Story Hill BKC is so good! We love eating at this place. The food is great, always satisfied. Portions are good. Kids meals are excellent and our kids love going here. Also, we have nut allergies in our family and BKC is so great about accommodations. We feel so safe here. We were so impressed this last time as they provided a menu with the items crossed out that would contain our allergens and our server was so helpful in the process. Can’t wait to go back!

I love story hill! Tasty food! Happy service! Fun atmosphere! We had bloody Mary’s with bacon vodka…so delicious! Sausage roll! Cinnamon roll! Yum!

Saturday morning, no wait for a table which was nice. A little on the pricy side, but worth every penny. I tried the Black Shakshouka which was delicious. The food came out super quick and our waitress was very attentive. Will definitely come back.

Group lunch for about 12 of us in a quiet little private room. Waiter was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, personable bloke who was not overbearing in the slightest. As for the food, simply delicious. All of it. Perfectly cooked, well presented and very tasty. Cocktails were just as good as the food. Were even available to go after the meal. Very impressed on my first visit here. Won't be my last.

This is a great small restaurant! My girlfriend and I arrived on a rather busy Saturday evening. We were seated right away, and this place is very nice and cozy. It was also very convenient to make the reservation online, via Open Table, so it was a major plus.

I would say that the menu has rather simple, yet delicious dishes. It is not necessarily a very affordable place, but the superb quality of service and quality of dishes are worth it. Our waitress was exceptional! Their kitchen also worked very fast, and all dishes were served promptly.

Excellent place! If I had one recommendation to make for the management, it is a request for these folks to add a dedicated parking lot. I know they have 3 or 4 spots in the back, but it is not sufficient.

Delicious food! With 4 people we shared 1 pass, 2 shares, and a binding from the menu. The mushroom cacio e pepe was my favorite thing I ate. Also enjoyed a nice coffee martini with valentine coffee and some bubbly rose wine that was so good I took a picture so I could drink it again. Will definitely be back! The staff is also very organized, courteous, and professional. Don't always see that these days.

Very good. Always great quality. Friendly staff. So clean. I love the atmosphere. I love the location. It's a great spot. I always appreciate their pastries. We recently had the strawberry rye cookie & it was amazing.

There is usually a wait but I recommend going early. They do have a midday menu (after lunch before dinner) which is never fun if you don't notice the time. But I understand the transition period. Just something to be aware of.

My only complaint is the bathroom! Wow! In the winter it is so cold. This weekend I walked in the bathroom I immediately didn't have to go anymore bc my body froze. another girl walked in & made a comment too! not sure if it's normally like that. Hate the idea of even leaving a "bad" comment. Just found that to be a little bizarre.

Anyway! It's a great little spot. Highly recommend!

A Delightful Brunch Experience

Review: I recently enjoyed brunch at Story Hill Restaurant, and I must say, the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The use of fresh ingredients was evident in every dish. Despite a small menu, the variety of drinks and the high quality of the food impressed me. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. The coffee was fantastic, and the atmosphere added to the positive vibe of the place. Highly recommend for a delightful brunch outing!

Story Hill is one of the best brunch places I've ever been to based on their food alone. They have a rotating special brunch menu which always has the most delicious options and then they have their standard menu as well. They also have a bottle shop next to their table section that includes wine and a selection of spirits.

Had a delicious meal with great service last night as we celebrated our daughter's birthday at Story Hill BKC. Draught Old Fashioneds were quite good so we had 2. The sharing concept and dishes coming out as they were ready was a unique take on a dinner menu yet it worked out very well. The food was all delicious and our server was very attentive. They even comped us dessert because of the birthday celebration - thank you! Check it out - highly recommend!

Every time we come here the food and energy is always great. There is usually a little bit of a wait because we go at peak times but the wait is worth it-- I highly recommend their brunch

I don't know when the first review is from... its now May 2023.. and this place is consistently good. We were next to some first timers and they were continuously commenting on the greatness. It's a regular stop for us... I love their wine club. They have rewards now...

This restaurant is designed for anyone who enjoys food and great cocktails. We tried the cocktail flight and they were all delightful. We had escargot, beef tartare, pork schnitzel, salmon, cauliflower .. and more. Every dish was perfect. If we had one suggestion it would be to have less salt on the pretzel bread…. But then again, that’s a matter of taste. The server explained the dishes well and spent time at the table explaining everything. All the staff were great. Kitchen staff were also accessible and interested in our experience. I’m definitely going back when I am in the area next!

Marvelous evening at Story Hill. Such a fun crowd, delicious cocktails, attentive and happy looking staff…. And DELICIOUS food! I had the trout and waffle (yum!) and shared the Brussels sprouts and squash salad. We ate too much with NO regrets. We will be back! A real milwaukee gem.

We had heard great things about Story Hill BKC and they lived up to all of the previous reviews! We went for brunch and had two great dishes: the crepe-urrito and the broccoli cheddar egg bake. We also had a great spot right near the kitchen and had the ability to see all sorts of great dishes come out. Definitely recommend both! We’re excited to go back and continue exploring the menu!
