Marlowe at Max A. Sass was amazing to work with. He was patient, understanding, and compassionate. He took his time with me and my decision making process and answered all my questions. I met with him several times before my mom passed which made the final visit that much easier. Unfortunately my dad passed away 31 days after my mom and Marlowe was right there again in the most professional and dignified way to aid me again in planning the funeral. All the staff that I encountered was caring and thoughtful of what our family was going through. There is so much to decide upon and they have thought of everything. I was recommended to them by a family friend and would highly recommend them as well.

Stephanie and the entire staff at MAX A SASS were very helpful as we dealt with the loss of our beloved brother. Robert, who came to the hospice to transport our loved one was respectful and compassionate. Stephanie was great to work with before and after the passing, easily answered all our questions and met all our needs.

Upon my wife's passing, I dealt with Greg at Max Sass and sons. He was very compassionate and understanding. He listened to my desires and made accommodations to meet our needs. The staff was very compassionate during the service and made every attempt to assure everything went smoothly. After everything was completed I was offered resources to help me through this difficult time. They have also reached out just to check on my well being. Not having anything pre planned, I am very pleased my wife had reached out for information from Max Sass and we selected them for our needs. I would highly recommend them for the place to go in this difficult time.

After unexpectedly losing my dad this September, Max A Sass & Sons made this time so much easier for my family and I. Sara was great with directing my questions and taking care of the cremation permits/process. She even helped by placing ashes into keepsakes for me. The directors at Max A Sass & Sons still continue to follow up with us by offering outlets for the grieving process. I can't say enough about the amazing work they have done. I would definitely recommend them for anyone inquiring about future needs or going through a sudden loss. They are very caring people

I have had the Sass family do the funerals for my parents and recently my husband. I don't know where to start. Everyone is amazing and really I feel like they are my family. There was 9 years in between my folks and my husband passing away but you would of thought I just saw them yesterday. They took amazing care of my family throughout the process. From the set up to getting pictures together, videos and having a great space for my family to get something to eat and drink. Also ,the facility is well maintained and very clean. I highly recommend this business because they treat you like a person not a transaction. Again, Mike and his staff deserve applause for what they do during emotional times. Thank you to all!! Lori S

When a family member passes, there is an awful lot to process. Emotions and feelings are strong and sometimes things can feel out of control. One of the first front end pieces that happen is the planning for the deceased funeral arrangements. When my mom passed were were told by friends that the people at Max A. Sass were outstanding to work with.
We found that out to be true for ourselves. From the start, the staff were very respectful, professional, compassionate, understanding and patient as our family worked through the emotions and confusion. They offered clarity and helped us as we discussed the process and the many decisions we had to make. I can not speak about other funeral providers, but I am able to about Max A. Sass. At the time when families are struggling and have many difficult decisions to make, it was extremely comforting to have their staff paying attention to all of the small details and helping us through this important time.

Max A. Sass and Sons were great. They were very compassionate and caring. They also explained to us the Funeral and Cremation process very clearly and easy to understand.

They respond to my emails right away and even reached out to me after a few days to make sure me and my Family are ok.

Our Family has ALWAYS used Max Sass whenever their services are required. They have done my Father, uncles, aunts, grandmother, my brother and now, my Mother. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate their “above and beyond” service is to us.

My mother had passed on a cruise ship and when it came time for her remains to be shipped to Wisconsin for burial, she missed the connecting flight! Max Sass STAYED there and waited for the next flight to come in. They rallied for us for the cargo department to stay “open”, passed their closing time, in order for Max Sass to retrieve her. This was a Friday night and the cargo department is closed over the weekend. We were able to inter her on Saturday morning and flew back home to Texas that day. Had it not been for Max Sass and their wonderful team, we would have had to wait til Monday and my mother would have sat in a cargo bay over the weekend.

I would use no other competitors when their services are needed. They are kind, compassionate and became our voice in our time of need. Thank you cannot express the true gratitude Our family has for Max Sass. I highly recommend them.

I recently used this specific facility for my brother. They have been very informative, compassionate, and helpful through the whole process. They helped me through the some of the worst things to go through. They even checked in on me after the funeral. They accommodated me through the whole process. I didn't have enough thank you cards, but other than that they gave me enough when I asked. My brother was cremated fairly quickly too. I even asked if they could work with the Oneida tribe for some odds and ends, and they did a great job! The bill was a little higher than I expected, but some of that was due to the medical examiner(s). No hidden fees that I noticed.I was very happy with everything and I would definitely recommend this funeral home to anyone especially one that needs to stay on a budget for a funeral. If additional parking is needed, they can even accommodate some overflow. We were close to needing it.

Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home did a very good job with my mom's funeral. They were extremely kind and considerate to myself and my family during this painful time. They helped me to make a nice funeral for my mom that was within my budget.

Her makeup and hair were done to perfection, she looked beautiful!
