Skippy's Burger Bar

Grabbed a parking space in the lot. The Friday afternoon crowd was already at the bar, the dining room was empty (3:30 p.m.). Immediately seated, served water, and our beverage order was taken. A list of summer thirst quenches was provided. The Skippy burger was AMAZING! Juicy, flavorful, filling. Apple pie wontons were super hot, cinnamon-sugar sweet, and served with ice cream. Fun events were listed at the table. Outdoor seating available.

Fun laid back atmosphere. Staff is so friendly and down to earth. The burgers 🤤🤤 The homemade chips and fries and DIPS!!🤤🤤🤤

We normally come here for the burgers, which are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend the PB & J burger!!!!

Tonight we finally came for the fish fry. The beer battered cod was delicious! Real fish, perfectly battered. And the fries…the fries are the best around - dip them in some of their horseradish sauce!

Fish fry or burgers, this place is a must visit. Ownership and staff are friendly, welcoming, and engaging. Great atmosphere!

I was on the hunt for a good burger in the area, and figured I'd give it a shot.
Jay on the phone who took my order was outstanding, he was so kind and patient.
When I got there, I had to wait a few more minutes for my order. So as I ordered I paid attention to my surroundings and truly fell in love with Skippy's. I loved how it felt like a family atmosphere, even though it was a bar. The food was great. One of the best burgers I've ever had. I was so shocked and also, impressed.
I'm only here for 3 days, but I will definitely be going back.

Went out for lunch with a friend. We started with log cabin tots, they are loaded tater tots. Which the toppings covered every tot! The were creamy and rich definitely recommend. I had the horsey melt, and they tried the Better Mac both fantastic! The chips are thin and crispy and paired the skip dip were amazing! It was not a drinking lunch but they had several yummy sounding drink specials. Large outdoor patio, would recommend next time you are in the area.

Great burgers, fantastic apps and desserts...however, what made this such a great visit and a strong recommendation was the absolutely fantastic service and overall vibe. This was our first visit but if you would have lunch with us at the bar you would have thought we were weekly regulars...not because we are cool kids but because our bartender was such a laid back awesome communicator. She kept everyone engaged with not just her but others. Literally felt like we were hanging at Cheers with some great burgers and beer. Absolutely recommend and will return.

All the employees were happy and smiling. The bar area was pretty big and clean. The dining room area had a bunch of 4 top tables. The 4 top tables were spacious to sit at and spacious between tables. Good beer selection on tap and bottled.

Best burgers around. Delicious cocktails. Friendly staff always makes us feel welcome. Family-friendly atmosphere with games to play with the kids. And affordably-priced!

My first time @ Skippys to watch the Packers Game! First let me say, the door county Cherry mules I can drink endlessly, secondly the Wisconsin Burger, well I wanted to order seconds, third, I can’t believe I won a jersey. I was so shocked! Can’t wait to visit again! Definitely destination place for game days! Love the Packer nation environment.

The Farmhouse was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long, long time. Service was also friendly and fast on a Friday night. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area.

Wife and I loved our food, I got a pb and j Burger and it was delicious. Our stuffed tots were super good too. Overall very impressed, also was a nicer sports bar than I expected. I could definitely see coming here for a game!

Love their hamburgers and chilli. Customer service is great. Warm/cozy atmosphere -- my preferred neighborhood bar.

Family-friendly, Mom-and-pop style restaurant with sports references and history. I definitely recommend the Skippy Burger with the sour cream & chive fries.

We stopped here for lunch after picking up our new puppy. What an Awesome place!! Our waitress brought a bowl of water right away for our puppy. Cocktails were great and I ordered a BLT. Seriously The Best BLT I've ever had!! The sourdough bread was grilled in butter and just amazing! Thank you so much. I'm sure the next time we are in the area we will stop again 😊

Stopped in for some food and a drink after looking at some motorcycles. They had an event so the menu was limited. The food was great and I was told that the buns that they were using for the burger were not their regular ones however they were still delicious. In my original review I had some concerns but the response cleared up any misunderstanding, thank you for the response and for taking time to clear that up for me. If you're in the area and are looking for a burger you cant go wrong @ Skippy's.

Love this place! Just a great, fun atmosphere. The bartenders and servers all do an excellent job, and the food is always delicious. I've never ordered anything off the menu that I would not order again. Everything tastes homemade and is high quality, and prices are very reasonable as well. Stop by for a burger sometime - you won't be disappointed!

Atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, food is quality & far from fast food, and service was excellent (thank you Katie!). I would highly recommend dinner and a cocktail here. We will be back!
