Poco Loco

This is a cool place to check out. The tacos were weird when they first came out because I’ve never seen it done this way before, but I’ve since been dreaming of these tacos! Could use a double up on the corn tortillas, but other than that, 5 stars!

One of the gems in the area. Fresh, creative menu with unique flavor profiles. Luscious dishes and strong drinks. Comfortable, zany, fun interior. Locals abound. Worth a special trip.

Love our little neighborhood Mexican restaurant with yummy margaritas on the rocks This last visit I had the steak fajitas. They were okay and liked all the extra garnishes but My favorite dish is the steak tacos with corn tortillas with black beans. Hubby got lamb tacos he said they were delicious. His first choice is usually the steak or lamb burrito smothered with both sauces and cheese. Definitely recommend.

My grandmother and I ate here we’ve never been and I was excited. I ordered shrimp tacos and she got a chicken tamale... great prices and food was good and service was good as well. Definitely will revisit .

Agree with Justine's post. A great very long standing great Mexican restaurant with very tasty food and very reasonable prices. They have a variety of drink varieties and they serve lamb with other meat varieties too! They have a variety of drinks, latin drinks and wine, beer and cocktails. Locally owned and is still awesome! They are flexible and accomdating to customers. Indoor or outdoor dining and take aways. But call to make sure they are serving outdoors as weather gets colder.

Always wanted to try this place. Exceptional service: The food was great and authentic. I'll be back soon!

Winters are cozy inside and Summers are a blast on the patio. Great food and fun times.

The jalapeno margarita was very good. They are hard to come by, unless asked to be made specifically. The younger girl was a sweetheart! They do need to use 2 tortillas for the tacos tho. That's how they do it so they don't break apart and everything falls out and you have to eat with a fork! Jus food for thought.

This is a Northside gem, and if you know, you know. The bar setup is very inviting with stellar service, coincided with the best fish tacos in the Greater Milwaukee Area. Fresh Guac, hot chips with homemade salsa. I've only been for lunch, and it's something I look forward to at least once a month.

Great food in this small, somewhat hidden gem. Great drinks. In the summer they have outdoor seating in the back which more than doubles their capacity. The inside is similar to a diner but don't let that deter you. It is by far the best mexican style fare you will find within 10 miles.

Fabulous pork shiulder enchiladas with green sauce, highly recommend!!

I had the Salmon tacos that were incredibly grilled and flavored. The 3rd taco put me into a delightful food coma at my desk. The food is fresh and well packed for to go orders. I was tempted by their exhaustive list of to go Margaritas and made a note to order one for a weekend lunch at the office.

Great food and service on their outdoor heated and tented patio!

Went on a Saturday for the smoked pork shoulder. Got them in a flour tortilla, had beans and rise and a side of of Mexican street corn. Everything was amazing. Will definitely be back again soon.

I love the colorful, casual atmosphere with the old-timey bar and outside back patio in summer for seating. Because of the bar seating, unless you go in warmer weather it's not really suitable for more than parties of 2 or 3 if you want to have a conversation. The pork tamales, which aren't always available (call ahead) are fantastic. Otherwise, everything I've tried is excellent! Friendly staff, great authentic food.

OMG. Good, no fantastic food. Go. You will not be disappointed.
