Courtyard by Marriott Wausau

Very Nice Hotel! The Rooms are very Clean, comfortable & very fresh & new! Sara & Matt at the front desk were more than accommodating when we were in need of doing laundry while their public washers weren’t available. We travel the country for a living & highly recommended this hotel!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice sized room and beds were comfortable. Our soccer team and their parents had plenty of room to hang out in the lobby area at night for pizza.

Very nice hotel. Would love to stay here again if given the opportunity.

We stayed there last night and liked it so much that we came back. The rooms were very clean, the pillows were perfect. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be back.

Great selection of different types of rooms. Clean room with comfortable bed. No free breakfast but had friendly staff at convenience food counter where you could also get breakfast to order. Really nice dining area with booths that have personal TVs. Full restaurant, event center and bar across the parking lot.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. The hotel is a bit outdated but the staff does great with what they have. Rooms are clean, location is easy to get to and in a perfect spot for everything.

Very clean hotel and the staff - from General Manager Dan, to Tao, Alexis, Sam, Lauretta - the entire staff - they are the best! Took care of us while we were staying for a week on business. Breakfast was very good. Everybody was very friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you are in this area.

Room was great, whirlpool suite was amazing! But the number one reason we will be returning was Tao at the front desk! This was our 2nd time here and both times he was working. He was the most friendly and caring front desk person we have ever dealt with! He goes above and beyond to make sure you will have a great stay!

We had an amazing customer service experience here. Highly recommend. We had to stay there because of unfortunate circumstances but the staff last night and this morning were so amazing to us and we really appreciate them.

First of all, the staff, ALL OF THEM, are exceptional in attitude and service. Second, the decor is dated but the entire place (room, lounge, pool, fitness area) is so well maintained and clean. Finally, the breakfast and coffee are GREAT. Folks, maybe you can get a "free" breakfast at other hotels, but I choose a healthy, well prepared and fresh meal over bland waffles, questionable prepackaged omelets and dried out sausage pucks at lots of other hotel chains. Oh, and the coffe is fresh Starbucks!

The hotel is under construction so many of the services aren't available. The staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are good.

The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Seth the manager at the front desk was wonderful and so was Lauretta the manager of the cafe. The breakfast tasted amazing and filled me up until afternoon. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend. I have travelled a lot for business. Honestly, I enjoyed my stay at this Courtyard in northern WI more than a previous stay at a Ritz Carlton in a major city.
The only suggestion I could think of for improvement is the bathroom sink area could be bigger, but this is really a minor thing and did not impact my stay.

The staff were the nicest I have ever dealt with. Everyone was just so helpful and nice. Never have I been treated so awesome at a hotel in my life. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. I would 100% recommend this hote !!!

What a great experience we had at Marriott Courtyard Wausau... the staff was just excellent or even exceptional.
Our check in host on 8/19/21 (never got her name), was really really good. We stay quite often visiting from the Chicago area. I received a hand written note thanking us for staying often and were offered an item from the pantry. This was a very nice gesture! We only use Marriott for our travel stays and are Marriott owners in Hawaii.

This hotel was amazing from the moment we stepped on the property! The staff was extremely friendly and VERY kind. They took the time to get to know us by name and we're very attentive. I have to say I've never been treated so well when staying at a hotel and not just by any one staff member, it was by every single person that we encountered from the front desk, maintenance staff, the bar and the kitchen. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel when staying in the area.

I travel a lot for my job. The hotel was immaculately clean, quiet, and close to the area I needed it to be for work.

Exactly what I needed after spending almost 4 hours in the car.

Easy on and off the interstate. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. We were on the first door which had a nice patio area outside, only downside was all of the noise from the highway. Friendly staff, cafe in the lobby seemed nice although we didn't utilize it.

This was the best check-in experience ever! The front desk agent, Tao, had our keys ready to go, was super friendly and funny, and it took about 2 minutes altogether. This was so appreciated because we had just skied all day and still had our gear on - we just wanted to get to the room and get comfortable.

Business travel took me to Wausau on numerous occasions over the course of 5 months. As a repeat-customer, the hotel staff quickly learned my name and situation. Everyone was professional, friendly and courteous, making it a pleasant experience.

Quality stay, good rooms and friendly staff. Though breakfast is not free, I was shocked at the quality of the food. Usual hot tub and pool. Something nice is there is a local beer pub 50ft from the place with great drinks, food, games and weekend events to visit. Nice filler when not at granite peak 3 min away.
