Our pizza was amazing! Kristan was one the nicest, most helpful waitress we’ve had. Monday Specials were great. 2 for 1 drinks and large for a small pizza.

LOVE this place. The ambience is really cool, the service was spectacular and the food was delicious! I had the Bet you can't burger (I did) and my wife had the prime rib sandwich (which i finished later) Excellent! Great curds and fries too. Great mixed drinks as well. Highly recommended!

It's a really neat place to go for a meal. Will definitely be back. And they don't skimp on cheese. The italian cheese fries were AMAZING. Service was great also.

Awesome place. Was looking for a place to eat, seen this in the old internet, stopped and it was great. This is a kind of off the beaten path but definitely worth the stop. The food was excellent,and large portions. The inside was neat as well, walls and ceiling finished as if you where underground, and all-around a great place to eat.

When we went, there was a 10-20 minute wait. But that wait was worth it, the food is super good, especially the salad I had! I love the vibe. The decor is great to look at. I would 100% recommend this place for a dine in experience.

Love the unique atmosphere, very comfortable, service was great food was delicious and very filling! Definitely will drive 3 hours to come back! Had walking pork tacos and gyros... so filling and delicious!!

Saw the good reviews and decided to try the place out. I'm glad I did. I had the Poor Man's Cod with Cesar salad, twice baked potatoes, and garlic bread. I also ordered a side of onion rings. Washed it down with a Surly Brewing Furious IPA, and a Bloody Mary cocktail.

The Cod was served swimming in a delicious platter of melted butter. I broke the cod fillet up into small flakes so the butter soaked into it as much as possible. It was absolutely delicious. The twice baked potatoes were nice and cheesy.

The bartender was a good dude. I was tucked into the corner at the bar, and it was pretty busy, but he was on top of the service game and made sure to check with me regularly to see if I needed anything else. The total bill came out to $25. Pretty good deal.

Great food, great service, at great price. I'm very happy I came here while on my visit to Wausau. I hope you're next visit is as great as mine was.

Food was amazing, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic! Loved the detailed interior decor and it reminded me so much of Disneyworld!

The food is delicious. Gypsy had onion soup and a prime rib sandwich. I had the onion soup and a prime rib sandwich with house made chips. The atmosphere was great. See the photos to get a feel for the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restroom was very clean and had unique sinks. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

This is an amazing place I was glad to be in the area and experience it the atmosphere the service and food was exceptionally well done...kudos to the staff and your business.

Awesome place to eat! I go sometimes just to have their baked French onion soup which is fabulous and the best I’ve had. And their pizza is the best in central/northern Wisconsin. Great atmosphere with dining in a make-believe mine. Just wish it was an hour closer to where I live. However, I do make the trip at least once a week; it’s that good.

The food was SO GOOD!
We shared the hot beef sammich (wish I would have gotten my own! :) and oh man! It was so tender, buried in cheese and the bread was perfect! I didn't want the kettle chips really, but they did not disappoint! They were actually really good! A little too salty to eat them all but fantastic flavor! We also had the Italian fries. Which is basically just cheese bread but delightful!! Their ranch is fantastic as well!
Our server Alycia was quick and very attentive.
I want to go back here and try everything on the menu!!!

Cheese curds were phenomenal!!
Twisted Turkey was good but no Hot Beef sammich. That's still my favorite.
Burger might have been ok but they couldn't cook it to spec.
French fries were yummmmy!

Really good service friendly staff reasonable prices very good atmosphere in a beer that I haven't found in a long time I have the Reuben which is really good and they have their homemade sausage to go with all of there sandwiches

Great place for food and there one of only 2 places that I know of that actually know how to cook a blackened burger right so far, but besides the food the restaurant itself is a adventure with it appearing to be in a mine with even a man hole in the ceiling that has a person climbing down. Definitely worth a stop with the family and I hear there Italian fries are really good too. Also there taco salad is huge and definitely worth the Price!!!

Unique place to eat and the food was great! Honestly some of THE best fries I ever ate. The kids loved the atmosphere and the food came out quick, which is a huge plus! Definitely recommend 👍

We have been here twice, and not disappointed either time. Both visits was extremely enjoyable, The food is always hot, large portions, and the meats are very lean, the presentation has always been top notch, where they actually take pride in how the food looks when it's placed on the table, and the wait staff is always pleasant and beyond helpful. The bathrooms were very clean. I really love this place and we will be coming back.

Sat in the bar. The bartender was excellent. He was attentive and had a charming personality. The Italian Frys tasted the same as when I was a kid!! Delish! Love the atmosphere!! First timers need to walk around. So much to see. And you have to meet Vergil, the miner!

We went for lunch on a Saturday. We got seated immediately and the waiter was right there to take our order. We got the meatball sandwich and the BLT, both were excellent, I upgraded to the fries, my husband had the chips. Again both were great. Service was great, food came quickly and was very reasonably priced. We will come back again when in the area.
