GiGi’s Laundry Room

I used them for a wash & fold / drop off service for comforters and blankets. They did an excellent and prompt job. The owner and staff are very friendly and service oriented. They have many washers & dryers and the place is kept clean. They accept credit cards. Would highly recommend.

I am in town on business and needed to get some clothes washed.
This location is clean and inviting.
They have coffee and Wifi.
The card system is pretty good so I don't have to carry rolls of quarters and I can use a credit/debit card to replenish. Very nice.

Wow! What a great experience! Gigi and her brother helped me from the moment I walked in the door. She made sure I was comfortable, offered me complimentary coffee and water, and was so warm and friendly. Everyone there was kind. I felt more relaxed when I left than I did when I got there. I never thought I’d say that about a laundromat!

I have been coming to this place for a year now, and I am thrilled with the customer service. They go the extra mile to accommodate their customers. I lost my card and not only they reimbursed me but they paid for dry services. I also like the fact they do a lot for the community by providing resources and FREE bread to people. What an awesome idea.
I am very impressed and I strongly recommend this business to anyone! Kudos to owner Gigis and her staff!

This is the *nicest* laundromat I have ever been in, and as a person of a certain age, I've seen quite a few! First of all, it's attended, which is a major plus. It's incredibly clean and well-maintained. The staff is kind, friendly, and considerate. Lots of machines, including those big ones for comforters along with more than enough dryers of all sizes. And don't worry about quarters because it's credit or debit here. Buy your supplies like detergent and dryer sheets from the staff, and you're all set. They also offer wash and fold, which I didn't need this time but will keep in mind. I hope our household situation doesn't require a return visit - if it does, I hope Gigi's is still going strong!

This is my first time at this location as I’m used to washing and drying clothes at home. Since I’ve moved into the area I have to go to a laundromat. Upon entering I was greeted by an older lady who helped me get a laundry card and add funds and offered free water. The atmosphere is quiet and it’s very clean. I love that they play gospel music. Thank you for your hospitality and I will be back and days to come. 😉

Wonderful. Unfortunately they often have broken dryers or dryers that don't get hot. They do have wash and fold service for $1.50 per pound. Totally worth it!

Miss Judy (Gigi) is warm, professional, and extremely helpful. I was greeted with a smile, and she set me up in no time. Walking in, I felt like I'd been invited into home for afternoon tea. I'd give her a "10" stars if I could.

Everyone at GiGi's is so kind and warm! They're willing to help and the place is always clean, there are plenty of machines, the music is great. It's just a calm, happy atmosphere!

my washer broke over a week ago, and the hunt for a new one is taking longer than i had hoped. with a 100lbs dog who might as well be a human, a 5 month old, and a partner who owns a concrete business for a living you can only imagine the laundry that we’ve accumulated in the last two weeks. Gigi’s Laundry Room has saved the day. I did the wash and fold service because the thought of sitting in one spot for hours with a 5 month old makes my head explode. I called at 11a last minute hoping they’d have time today, and they fit me right in. everyone there was so nice and attentive. I picked up clean, perfectly folded laundry (i mean, down to the fitted sheets. they’re magicians) at 6p after all my other errands for the day. now i might just make that search for a new washer a little longer just to use them again.

My home washer is down so I had to find a new laundromat since my old standby in Claymont has closed. I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. The staff was helpful, the machines were plentiful and the place was very cleaned. What's an added bonus is that it is located in my neighborhood and is very accessible and safe.

What a wonderful place! Great Grandmother (a GG, but not THE Gigi, she said!) was lovely and friendly and the gentlemen staffer that came in a little later, offered us ice-cold waters! Wonderful customer service. We’re from out of town, wish we had. Gigi’s where we live in California! Thank you!!

Gigi's is awesome. They are clean. her son is very helpful especially if your not sure how to work the way to pay for laundry. Kindness goes a long way and gigi's has it. We will be back. Thank you,

Very clean, great service. I utilize there was dry and fold service so far o haven't lost anything and only once did I find someone's item in my laundry. No complaints I know how it goes when doing laundry. Hopefully I'm a customer for a very long time! Thanks for the effort guys oh and at 1 dollar a pound it's very affordable (different price if they have to use their detergent). The washers are big and can fit a lot of clothes don't let the prices scare you.

I found this place when I recently moved and realized my dryer needs to be replaced. It is always very clean, the lady during the day is nice and helpful. I came in with quarters and they actually do a reloadable card. She helped me with getting my card, making my first deposit and checking the balance. The machines are reasonable priced/bathroom for customers/and again very clean business with extremely kind and patient employees.

Love the response and care taken for the clothes. The laundry room is clean and well maintained. Love the music 🎶 played in the background.

I came to this laundromat when it first opened under the original owner. I moved away and started going to another laundromat closer to where I lived which was much more convenient. Decided to come back to this laundromat had no idea it was under new ownership. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful the owner and her nephew are welcoming and kind. Please ,if you are in the Wilmington Delaware area and in need of a laundromat consider doing your laundry at Gigi laundry Room!

Gigi herself was on staff and extremely friendly and helpful. It had been awhile since I had been to a laundromat and she made the whole experience much easier for me and was all around pleasant. It was a little out of the way for where I live but I will definitely be coming back here every time only because of Gigi herself. But the prices were reasonable for the amount of clothes I had, and Gigi even helped me throw my stuff in the dryer because I couldn’t get back in time to do it myself. 5 out of 5 would certainly recommend to a friend!

Love the atmosphere in there! It’s so cozy and quaint. The system is cashless, you use a reloadable card to use the washers and dryers. They also sell laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, laundry bags, AND they offer “wash n’ fold” services! Not to mention, it’s black owned. Fantastic!
