I have had really awesome visits at this practice. My hygienist, Debbie, is so great! She walks me through everything she does, is a wealth of knowledge, does very gentle and thorough cleanings and exams, and is great to converse with. I am very glad to have found this practice, especially with my dental anxiety around my teeth and gum sensitivity. I highly recommend!

Have been a patient of Hounsell Dental for a few years. Pleasant experience each time I get work done. Excellent results and very courteous people. Professional and personal care. Would recommend them to anyone looking for affordable and high quality dental work.

I visited today as a first time patient. I hadn’t been to the dentist in nearly 2.5 years due to COVID nerves. I was up front about being nervous and the hygienist, Deb was so sweet. She was eager to answer any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Hounsell was great too, very kind and knowledgeable. Glad this office was recommended to me.

I ALWAYS have a great experience here! The staff is polite and the environment is relaxing for what can be an anxiety filled appointment. My hygienist is Deb and she’s great! I had to be on my zoom class during the appointment (thank God for Zoom) and she didn’t complain at all. Shared her schooling experience and she was efficient and fast! Very clean office with a wonderful staff and office. I even bring my daughter who’s 5 and she loves it. ❤

Hounsell Dental is an exemplary group of cordial and professional individuals. Knowledgable service, great follow up for appointments and simply a nice group of people to deal with.

I changed to Hounsell Dental about seven years ago and have not regretted it. The practice principals is honesty. They never recommend something that is not needed. Always accommodating and efficient. I drive from Dover to Wilmington for my visits, this should tell you of their service, GREAT!!!

I have been seeing Dr Hounsell and her staff for about 4 years now. Everyone is so nice and inviting. The staff remembers you and your family and is always asking how everyone is doing. Could not have gone to anyone else!

Dr. Hounsell is the best and most caring dentist I have ever been a patient of. She is very attentive, communicative, and compassionate with her care for her patients.

I switched my whole to Hounsell dental a little over a year ago. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. 2 times I have come in with urgent issues and they have gotten me all taken care of. We love the hygienests. And the best part... The bills are what they say the bills will be. I have never been over charged, or told I had to pay 400$ more than what I was quoted. Highly recommend.

As usual my wife and I found our hygienists very thorough and professional. From appointment making through the visit and any followup we have always been very satisfied. Dr. Hounsell is the best.

My first experience was excellent. They were able to fit my appointment in rather quickly and answer some questions I had about my new Insurance. Filling out my paperwork online was convenient and I was only in the waiting room for 2 minutes before they called me back. Ruth my hygienist worked quickly and was gentle. I saw Dr. Hounsell shortly after my cleaning and was out the door in under an hour.

I'm so glad that we found Hounsell Dental! Debbie examined, x-rayed and cleaned my 8 year old son's teeth. She kept him calm, made him laugh and explained everything to him before she did it. When we visited dentists in the past it was an ordeal because he was so nervous about the sounds and tools. But Debbie allowed him to touch the instruments and once he felt engaged he forgot about his nervousness and happily kept still while she worked. Dr. Hounsell was also very kind and explained what we need to do about his cavity. I definitely recommend this practice!

I love Dr. Hounsell's office! All of the staff members are so friendly, organized, and timely. I've gone to other dentists previously that I felt like didn't have my best interests in mind and tried to "sell" me treatments I didn't need, but Dr. Hounsell is honest and trustworthy. I'm confident that she's taking great care of my teeth. So glad I found this office and highly recommend to anyone!

My dental phobia remains at home while I visit this practice. Dr. Hounsell and her team couldn't be more comforting and conscientious as they meet my twice yearly needs. On the one occasion I required a crown, the procedure was completely pain free. I don't plan on returning more often, but they are all as pleasant as could be.

This dental practice is by far one of the best I’ve been to. Dr. Hounsell is an excellent, knowledgeable dentist, the hygienists are thorough, the office staff are efficient and helpful.

Dentists and me have not always got along. After a long search, I finally found a good--no, great-- one! Ruth was my hygienist and she was easy to talk with, gentle, and professional. Dr. Hounsell was nice, also easy to talk with, and provided great incite. The icing on the cake was they also didn't attempt to sell me thousands of dollars of potentially unnecessary treatment and products, which I can't say has been my previous experience. Their approach is conservative, which I wish more medical professionals would take. Great dental office!

I have been going to Dr. Hounsell for years, and I couldn’t ask for a better dentist. All of the hygienists are excellent. Everyone is kind, friendly, and helpful and they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Hounsell is extremely accommodating and has a wonderful bedside manner. If I could give 10 stars I would!
