The Edgewater Supper Club

Took my family here to celebrate her birthday. Edgewater offered a unique experience while maintaining the underpinnings of the traditional Wisconsin super club. She had the corn beef special with mashed potatoes, cabbage, and carrots. The boys each had salmon which they enjoyed and appreciated the natural flavoring. And I had the lamb. The Old Fashions were spot on and I always appreciate a place going Royal Crown cola over the more common options. Our server was friendly and we appreciated him explaining the specials and other menu options. It is worth the trip.

Great little gem of a supper club along the Rock River. Staff and service were excellent in accommodating our larger group. View of the river from the patio was terrific. Group had all kinds of dinners and everyone loved everything. Tasty old fashioneds with real door county cherries.

I was so excited when the food came, I forgot to take a picture! We enjoyed the friday night fish fry, everything was wonderful! Enjoyed brandy old fashions at the bar before we were seated. Personable staff and a beautiful view tonight! I've been back in Wisconsin for 2 years and this was the best fish fry so far!

Wonderful evening with my lovely wife! Service was amazing. We live in Missouri and traveled a long distance for a great meal. You people from Wisconsin are very spoiled LOL. Had the Friday night fish fry which was amazing. Very special place. Highly recommend!

Perfect supper club dining experience. Quirky and storied 100+ yr old bldg. Friendly owners and staff. 0ur server Martha made us feel welcome and the owner Bill was happy to give us a little history of the supper club. Food exceeded our expectations. Six of us had different entrees and we all raved about them. …. Can’t wait to go back!

Restaurant is right on the river and very uniquely decorated. Each space in interesting and welcoming.
Staff was accommodating when we increased our reservation size. The drinks were fantastic. Always have an old fashion at a supperclub.
The owner is out front and approachable. Staff are spot on. 6 of us had the relish tray, coconut shrimp and pork belly apps. Then each couple shared meals. We had ribeye, lamb chops and salmon. Everything was 5 stars. Sorry, no room for dessert.

My wife and I have seen the ebb and flow of this establishment over the past 25 years and very happy to report that it has been in very good hands under the newest owners. Ate there last night, had tenderloin and ribeye, both delicious. With 2 mixed drinks each and a shared dessert (a very good crème brûlée) total, not including tip was $165. But taking in the cozy atmosphere, excellent service, quality of food, well worth the price.

Fantastic Canadian walleye dinner. Others had fresh perch or salmon. All immensely enjoyed their meal. Sides included polenta, spaghetti squash and loaded baked potato. Our server, Eric, was efficient and personable.

The Edgewater Supper Club, on the Rock River, in Jefferson WI - is the classic, "don't judge a book by it's cover". Ron Faiola's, "Wisconsin Supper Clubs" book highlighted The Edgewater Supper Club, that's why we decided to make the drive and give it try - and are we glad we did - WOW. We started at the intimate bar setting - with a Wisconsin tradition - Brandy Old Fashioneds - delicious, while we listened to stories from the bartender about the depression era where gangsters came to rob the place and then sit down for a home cooked meal - ask the bartender about the original "money drop". Our table was on the porch - overlooking the Rock River - the porch has a classic charm about it, low ceiling, slanted floor, eclectic table linens and dinnerware - makes you feel like you are having dinner at your Aunt Millie's...Our server was working hard that evening, doing double duty, and she was great - efficient, energetic, friendly and just hometown hospitable. I had a steak and "she" had fish - everything was delicious - they was a true Wisconsin dining experience, from the minute we walked in, to the story telling bar tender, bubbly waitress, half a bubble off center porch, relish tray, homemade bread to our main entrees - everything contributed to a fun and delicious evening at The Edgewater Supper Club - Thank you to everyone who made it fun and tasty. If you are in the Jefferson, Fort Atkinson area - stop by and visit The Edgewater Supper Club - you'll be glad you did, we sure were. Enjoy!

Not wheelchair accessible. Very much a WI supper club. Baked Potatoes are amazing.

From the outside, the Edgewater appears to be a place that time forgot. Walk in and discover the rest of the story. Bill welcomes you to the bar with a mix of great drinks and lively conversation. Time flies by, and you're invited into the dining area. We sat on the enclosed porch. The slanting porch. We were able to make ourselves comfortable, and were enchanted by the lovely plantings and visiting birds. The view of the river was wonderful. We ordered the pork belly appetizer. My husband ordered whitefish and I ordered the lamb. I have never had better lamb anywhere! Every item served was delicious. All wait staff did their jobs beautifully. At the open kitchen,we stopped and expressed our admiration for the perfect dining experience. We will definitely return!

Food was absolutely amazing! I had the lamb chops, friends had the roasted duck special and prime rib....all were delicious! The duck fat fries were fantastic!! I also love that they serve their coffee French press style. Can't wait to go back!

Loved it, the Wisconsin Supper Club experience is alive and well. An old style environment and ambience with great character. The food (tonight was a fish fry) was excellent. Awesome haddock and roasted beets. Our table had a great view of the river, bee hives and hummingbird and other bird feeders were a welcome sight. As you can see in the photo, our table was on a slight slant, but the angled water glasses made it fun.

Classic Supper Club atmosphere. Looks a little old on the exterior but does not take away from excellent food and ambiance inside. Unique slanting patio is also fun to experience.

Really fun, crooked place. Nice location with a great view. Friendly staff, smiling and happy. Food was outstanding. We will be back. We came without a reservation - not realizing how busy they are. We enjoyed an adult beverage 😉 in the lounge while we waited for a table to become available. I recommend calling ahead.

This place has great character, friendly staff and wonderful food. The duck special was deliciously moist and flavorful. We sat in the porch area (watch your head, low ceiling) with a great view of the river. Be sure to try the dessert. The Banana Cake was worth the calories!

This place is a hidden gem. Really cool old school supper club vibe. Absolutely loved it

A super club that never disappoints. Fiver star drinks and food with fiver star service from the bar to the dinning room. By far our favorite place to dine.

Good food and service.
Called ahead got right in.
Prices are high but it was worth it.

Honestly the salad was my favorite part.
