Cafe On the Park

Great little old historical restaurant. Food was very good, I had the Veggie omelette with cheese and jalapeño. Comes with Hash-browns or country potatoes and your choice of toast. I also ordered a side of bacon. Everything was very good. I would absolutely recommend and will stop back again. The staff was very attentive and super friendly. I found out that this building started life as a horse stable back in the mid 1800’s and became a restaurant in the early 40’s. One of the waitresses is a third generation employee. Very cozy atmosphere.

One of the few coffee/cafes in the area so I meet some of my Madison clients here! Friendly staff who greet you "hello" & "good bye" and it has a "cozy cafe" vibe. Haven't eaten here yet, but when my stop lines up with meal time I'll give it a go!

First time and we'll definitely be back! Breakfast was great, service was on point and we didn't have to ask for coffee to be refilled once! We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but the food and the service were exceptional. My family of five each had a different item from the breakfast menu and everything was fantastic. I highly recommend if you are in the area!

I would definitely come back here if ever in the area! Delicious food, outstanding service and nice location. I love the option of having breakfast foods for lunch or dinner and this menu definitely has a good variety to choose from! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through!

Great small town family diner. Typical family restaurant fare, (good at a vey fair price) but exceptional service. Very accommodating to our group which included my son in a wheelchair :) would come back for sure!

It's basic breakfast food, but they absolutely crush it! It was so delicious! The service was wonderful! There aren't very good food options in that town, but I finally found a place I really enjoyed!

We always have great breakfasts here. The skillets are delicious and our kids love the lumberjack breakfast. They have the best French toast. It’s a cozy, comfy diner atmosphere and the waitresses are wonderful.

My second time here. Food is really good, staff was super friendly and attentive. On top of all that the pricing was reasonable.

Traveling to Kenosha, it was lunch time and we stopped at this quaint diner for a bite. The food was well prepared and tasty. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger which was HUGE!. They asked how I preferred it cooked, and it came just as I had ordered (medium rare). Very nice pricing, family friendly, staff was incredible.

Best gyro omlette ever! Not overcooked or dry. Staff was very friendly too! We'll be back.... thank you!

It was $12 for eggs, hash browns, french toast, bacon, sausage, ham and an OJ. Amazing. It was good food and Lisa was exceptionally nice. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I lived in Lake Mills 20 years ago and Loved going to Cafe on the Park for breakfast! My wife and I stopped there today for the first time in 15+ years! The food was excellent, and the service was great! Wife had Country breakfast, i had the Corn beef skillet! The bacon was exceptionally good, according to my wife! Lol!

This is an awesome place. Nothing fancy, just down to earth goog home cooking at a fair price. You won't be disappointed. You will come back
