Doyle's Dogs "At the Stand"

This is a great place to get a quick bite. Order a great iteration of the “Chicago dog” or dress it up with chili and cheese!

The Mac and cheese by the cup is very good.

Service is friendly and food is served within seconds.

They have plenty of outdoor seating at the stand. Drive up and fill up here.

Such a cute place. Met the owner Patrick Doyle. Told us the story of how the hot dog stand came to be. Property used to be an old Pure gas station long ago.

What a lucky find on our way from Madison to Milwaukee. Absolutely the best Chicago Dog ever...and I've had many! Extremely polite staff. Cool outdoor seating too. This will be a lunch stop every trip!

Cool little find of a place as we roamed through town. Very nice staff, nice outdoor seating. A little bit pricey I felt for a hot dog, but I understand having to pay staff a good wage. Would definitely recommend.

We saw a sign for Doyle’s Dogs on I-94 so we stopped here for lunch and are glad we did! A charming hot dog restaurant in the adorable town of Lake Mills that serves outstanding brats, hot dogs and Italian beef. The owner is kind and gracious in addition to being a savvy businessman. The staff is hardworking, helpful and sharp. If you have the time, visit them!

This place is AWESOME. It's a tiny little home in the wall with the most amazing dogs (brats, Polish & Italian sausage, veggie hotdogs, etc). Best I've had outside of Chicago. Friendly staff and fast service. It's the kind of place locals take for granted and non-locals make a point of stopping at on their way to somewhere else. You need to go here. Like, right now.

The outdoor dining area is quaint and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hot dogs were Nathan's hot dogs and so were delicious.

We didn't know the hours and got there just as they were closing "The Hotdog Guy" served us anyway at a discount, with a smile. These folks clearly have a passion for what they do. Nestled right by the park in lake Mills with comfortable outdoor seating, it's a very nostalgic place to enjoy some classic hot dogs with great service. Dogs were hot and delicious with soft warm buns. I had a phenomenal Chicago style dog. Great summertime casual food experience.

Jumbo dog Chicago style is the best! Great location, easy to find. If you want the best Chicago style hot dog in Jefferson County Doyle's Dogs is the place.

I love Doyle's Dogs! The big Chicago dog is delicious, and the big Italian Beef sandwich w/ cheese, hot, & wet is fantastic! All the flavors are great together. The giardiniera is excellent! I've been hooked since I had my first meal at Doyle's Dogs 5 years ago. I live in Oklahoma, and when we visit my nephew once a year, Doyle's Dogs is a must stop. During our visit to Lake Mills, we stop at Doyle's Dogs 2 days in a row. I can't say enough how excited I get about Doyle's Dogs. Sorry, no pictures...I don't think of that until after I've wolfed down the food.

Continues to impress me every time I come with how polite and patient the staff are and how delicious the food is. The Chicago Style Dogs hit the spot for a light lunch or large snack. Plenty of outdoor seating with everything appearing very clean and regularly restocked. If you are passing through Lake Mills I highly recommend.

Chicago Style dogs are great. Prices are a little high, especially $1.50 for a 12oz can of soda. Overall the experience was good.

The dogs are awesome. The kids who work there are very courteous and polite. Definitely a must stop at if your in the area.

This is such a great place. Sitting outside of a converted 1930's gas station eating a brute and drinking the Original Green River, with real surgar. Started in 1919.

I have driven past the highway sign many times when working but I never had the chance to stop until today. I had a couple of big dogs with mustard and onions and they were fantastic! The service was super fast and the staff were friendly. Hopefully I can stop again real soon.

Loved the setup at Fall Fest- food was great & workers friendly! Added bonus drinks & chips were organized neatly for my kids to find what they wanted quickly! Thank you.

They have the best hot dogs! I always get a slaw dog or a Chicago style. It is a great summer stop with plenty of social distancing tables to eat. Or you can be like me and take it home. Either way, I'm never disappointed when I go there!
