Wow one of the best. Food, service, and price was awesome. Highly recommended

This WI restaurant has a
fresh, over-sized diner feel to it. This place does not disappoint as its clean, bright, friendly, quick service, decent prices & very good food. First run, a steak sandwich & burgers/fries & they did their job well on those, especially the grilled steak sandwich which we added grilled onions on. Our second run included, Belgium waffle w/choco chips, Biscuits/Gravy (gravy was quite oniony tasting, could have been the cook this day), and finally, the Apple Crumble french toast which was also very good along w/ hash-browns (bacon will be next time 😉). We drive 40min for this place and its worth it. Another up-side is that you’re able to grab some spotted cow on the way out 😉. In closing with a bonus, Lovin’ Oven Bakery stocks their bakery section but we have not made room but for a cookie yet, their stuff looks scrumptious (not cheap tho, cookies are $16 a lb., and coffee cakes look fa nominal!)

Summary: Yolo's is one of those extremely rare places of such outstanding quality of service and food that it's kind of shocking that there is only one location. Really I think if this place could be replicated it would be one of the biggest chains in America. They serve unbelievably good home made breakfast food for an affordable price. They also serve lunch and dinner, and have an extensive ice cream shop as well.

When you walk in, you notice the place is big but exceptionally clean and very cozy. I mean, this place is SPOTLESS. The employees have all been not only super polite and helpful, but they genuinely seem to enjoy their job which tells me the ownership and management is top notch.

We have gotten ice cream a few times, and every time the meticulousness and precision these guys use when making your treat is incredible. They also give more than generous portions, you feel like you got an amazing deal when you get that big tub of delicious ice cream. The two gentlemen that have helped us in the ice cream section both took great care to make sure what we received was perfect.

The service is really fast as well. You can tell when eating anything they make that it isnt frozen, its homemade and always tastes amazing. I've gone about 6 times and I will be going back many more times.

I met an older gentlemen last night that may have been the owner, or a manager. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He recommended the fish fry and in Wisconsin we do love our fish fries.

Give this place your business. They deserve all the success that will follow.

Outstanding burgers, doesn't matter which one you get! My wife had the Denver Omelet and that was just as tasty. We have been here 4 times already. Dave & Jan are great! Clean & inviting atmosphere too. Thanks.

I went here for the first time today. I was amazed. My husband had the Shamrock Benedict and he was amazed. Chunks of corn beef on marble rye with a homemade hollandaise sauce. 10 out of 10. They have everything, restaurant with all home made food, chocolates, ice cream, bakery, hot sandwiches to go, everything you need in one stop including gas as it's in the mobile station. I was unbelievably impressed. Will definitely be back over and over again.

We have gone here for breakfast and also for ice ice cream quite a few times and loved it! But Saturday topped it all, when I took my granddaughters here for ice cream. The young man behind the counter was silly with them, gave them each a taste of an ice cream flavor, it was the end of a wonderful day after Stades in McHenry. Kudos to him!!

This place was great for a gas station restaurant. They have menus, but you order at the counter and get your own drinks. They will bring your food to your table. They have a drive through as well. Portions are substantial for the price! Very delicious and well be back again!

Go here at least monthly for breakfast and love the food. Try their cornbread muffins with strawberry jam.... 😋. Great staff, good food, spacious atmosphere. They also have ice cream, chocolates, lovin oven treats, a deli, and so much more. Great one so shopping experience

2nd time eating here for breakfast, I ordered steak and eggs, the steak was so tender I cut with a butter knife. Food was very good and a great price. Have enjoyed both times here. Would recommend to try out.

I’ve been coming here every single day since June and it’s my favorite place ever. Excellent food in the restaurant- try the broasted chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. I’ve come to know the owners and the staff well and I can tell you as a business owner - this place will continue to be great. The owner sweeps and mops floors when nobody else can and is always present for work hours. 10/10 would recommend.

The prime rib dinner Saturday special was amazing all around, the price was awesome, the service was great, can't say enough good things about our experience! Looking forward to going again
Update 10 months later: The price hike on the prime rib special seems extreme. The king cut is more like the queen cut used to be and the queen cut was thinned. Taste was still good.

Fantastic hidden gem! Had the best eggs Benedict for breakfast and got some chocolate for the road. There's also a ice cream shop, deli and bakery. Clean beautiful decor that reminds me of a medieval themed Little America travel stop out in Wyoming

I've been to this gas station many times and never knew there was a restaurant inside of it until I saw posts on here. Now, I'm not a stranger to truck stop diners at all but this one threw me in for a loop. Its huge inside! Bright, open, and airy. Sure doesn't feel like a gas station stop.

They have breakfast & lunch options as well as a full service ice cream area. I believe they are working on a gift shop/store. I saw a boars head sign and some trinkets in a extended section.

Ordering is similar to Culver's. You sit where you like and order at the counter. They bring your food to you and pick up dishes, etc.

We ordered stuffed crepes, apple crumble French toast, COOKIE DOUGH PANCAKES, a CYO skillet, and a kids cheese omelet.

Surprisingly the kids meal was a large portion, my daughters friend is 11 and is was the perfect size for her. Stuffed crepes went as fast as they were delivered. The apple crumble French toast tasted like an orchard. Exactly what they should taste like.

But the cookie dough pancakes... they were everything youd want in a pancake and then some. The cookie dough was warm so it all just melted. It's like that one time I went to make chocolate chip cookies, almost just ate the dough, then put them in the oven and 2 minutes later said no, I just want the dough and scraped it off the pan. The waitress forgot to put whipped cream on the pancake so I got to see all that cookie dough in the middle of the pancakes 🖤 before she came back with that can.

They also have funfetti pancakes, but on the kids menu.

The skillet is insanely huge. You could easily split it between 2 people.

We left here so happy we are definitely going to be regulars. Plus I heard their breasted chicken is good too.

My friend sent me a message saying she went to Triple Berry without me and I sent her a picture of the cookie dough pancakes and she wasn't too pleased with me 🤣🤣🤣 That's what happens.

The waitress was really nice and laid back. I felt super comfortable and theres a price point for everyone's budget.

Omg I almost forgot. They have a Texas Watermelon iced tea. Bubble Gum Watermelon Gum in a cup. 🤩 swooned.

Delicious breakfast. Huge portions. Top notch food and friendly staff. Have been there 3 times now and will continue to go there on a regular basis. Great job staff of Yolos. Keep it up. 👍👍👍👍👍

Portions are large and food is great! Between breakfast, lunch and dinner we have never had a meal we did not care for! They also have tasty sweets for very reasonable prices. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a gas station fool you, it’s our favorite restaurant in town!

Well the food is extremely large in quantity. The quality is not organic and hopefully the cook remembers what was ordered. For me my receipt was right but what was brought to me not what I ordered. No exchange even offered by the cashier/server. Sooo enter at your risk.

Your first thought is going to be “this is a gas station, the food is going to be terrible.” Then you’re going to bite into one of their amazing 1/2 pound burgers and you’re going to think “I can’t believe this fantastic little restaurant with the kitschy decor is attached to a gas station!” Trust me, just go. Get a burger, get a cone, you’ll love everything about this place.

Our 1st time here and it definitely won't be the last! This place is amazing, everything was delicious and the decor is amazing, very unique. We will make this regular place to visit, gas, food and whatever!

Great place to spend time with friends and/or family. They make it feel as if you were at home! And they pride themselves on high quality food just ask, they will be happy to inform as it reflects on quality and pride rather than profit...... that’s what sells me!

This place is amazing. Had breakfast with my folks here. The food is great and the staff is equally as great. You have to check this place out!
