Taqueria Los Primos

It's really hard to find an authentic mexican taco restaurant for a quick bite. The food is absolutely delicious, best part of the menu is the handmade tortillas.

Authentic as you can get and I used to live in San Diego. I can guarantee that mine was the only English speaking voice that will be heard in this restaurant today. The food is as close to actually being in Mexico as you can get; it was delicious and the staff was super friendly.

I can't say enough about this place. I love it. I was a chef for 20 years and this is the best Mexican restaurant in Delaware. They hand make the tortillas. Everything is great. Actually I am gonna go there now

I tried tacos of carnitas and bistek and cheese quesadillas , I like this place.

The tacos and torta were really good the portions are insane. I’m a 4-5 taco type of person but got two with my torta. I should have gotten one. Their pricing definitely reflects their portions. The salsa was really good and I liked the way they gave me cilantro and onions with a whole lime so I could choose how much I want on my tacos and torta. The meat is perfectly cooked and needed some salt once again a big plus for me since I like really salty carnitas. 10/10 will definitely go back to try their pozole too.

Food was great! I just wish there was vegetables for my vegan wife. She had cheese tamale and quesadilla instead...
Next time I will order a pork tamale! The (Mensa?) was tasty on my wife's. Portion sizes are great on tacos! I only needed 2 instead of 3 or 4!

I think this place is as authentic as you can get. I knew it would be good when I saw them making the tortillas by hand. I always order 2 beef and 2 pork tacos (I don't know what else is on the menu), and they provide a tray of condiments for you to make them taste the way you like it. A small family place that you should not pass.

Great little taqueria!!! Super busy for a reason. I enjoyed some tacos including the chorizo, carnitas, and pastor. The salsas are muy bueno!

It's been a year since last post. This place has the most authentic food that I've found I Delaware. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Every dish is homemade. They press the tortillas right in front of you. Everything dish is 100% delicious

Great place to get authentic tacos, quesadillas, and menudo. It's amazing seeing them make the tortillas by hand and food while you're waiting. There's a public bathroom for you to use and limited parking space, better to go in the morning and not when it's lunch break since it gets really packed.

Excellent food, excellent service. Took about 60 seconds from the time we ordered until the plate was on the table. I had quesadillas. One lengua (tongue) and one tripa (tongue). The best I've ever had the pleasure of eating. If you like Mexican, there is none better than this place.

Delicious. I eat here at least twice a month. If you like hole in the wall/word of mouth places, this is it. Truly authentic Mexican food, limited menu. Order at least 4 tacos, you'll be glad you did!

Fantastic food as always. When comparing to taquerias in a 10mi radius I will say the meat is a bit more bland at los promos. However the major selling points are the hand made to order tortillas as well as the tray of fixings (salsas abs other toppings). The tamales on the weekends are not to be missed.

Great Mexican food !! When it's homemade tortillas it's amazing !! The prices are great !! The service is also great !! Just make sure you add your total before paying because sometimes I feel like they over charge you I had to correct them 2 times !! But over all great tasty Mexican food !! The place can be cleaner but with all the people coming in and out they can't clean that much it's always to packed but that's because it's sooo good !! Will come here any day but if I have to choose between here and el amigo down in Newport I'll choose el amigo !! 🙂

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants you will ever try. From the handmade tortillas to the seasoned carne asada. The tacos have a very good taste to them with all of the ingredients they bring out for you to add on such as cilantro, lime, onion, and the salsas.

the best authentic Mexican around--genuine and fresh. Great great tacos---carnitas on the weekend. Tripe and tongue too. All fantastic--though the tortillas really steal the show. Worth seeking out.
