Food was pretty good! Service was friendly and fast. Our family came for lunch and it turned out great we would definitely come back

Place was cool. Omg! The food was sooo good. And the Salsa- yum yum! So delicious. I ordered the Hawaiian Fajita and it came out in a sliced pineapple. I was so impressed. The gentleman who served us was cool- not too overbearing not unattractive. Good food, good service, good spot!

I personally love the space, the ambiance, the decor along with the perfect combination of Mexican food choices, the people, the lighting, the decor, the outside patio area are factors which set this place apart from similar local choices.

My cute bf treated me to El Maya! El Maya is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Wilmington. I think. El Mayas menu has a lot to choose from. I can be indecisive so it’s great that my hunny knows his foods. I went with what he knew to be delicious. I was hungry and ready to dig in. He chose the fajita platter for us.

While we were waiting for our food to come out we enjoyed their complementary nachos and sauce do.

The platter came out sizzling with three different meat, chicken shrimp, and steak underneath the beat sautéed peppers and onions along with the platter to dishes of fillers for your fajita sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream at and guacamole. It was to die for! You can tell it was cooked with love.

Since it was the two of us we had leftovers. This platter could fill up 3 people.

I’ve been a few times to go orders. Haven’t dined in yet but will soon. Food is always delicious & bar staff that take order are very pleasant and professional. The El Mixto is my favorite the steak is so tender cut with plastic butter knife. The photos don’t do this dish justice. So good! Salsa is fresh made daily and chips are amazing also

It was a nice dinner and nice ambience, nice service and nice people around. I visited this place 1st time even it’s in daily route 😊 … anyway it’s a very clean very decorative (like most of Mexican restaurants)…. And last but not least that many vegetarian options . We tried enchiladas, margaritas, Flan and churro cup with few other things and all was delicious up to mark! Definitely will recommend and will visit again and again!

We had been celebrating our birthdays 🥳 all 3 of us, I also took some guacamole & salsa home cause it was so good. Yup chunky style with extra cilantro❤

I order takeout from here quite a bit. The food is always fantastic and they never forget anything. Also, shout out to the guy at the front who answers the calls and helps with the takeout orders. He always has an awesome attitude and makes the experience great.

5 Stars across the board!!! Goodness the food was so good that I went back 3 days later!! I haven't had a great meal like that in a long time!! The Fiesta Nachos were the best I have ever had. Each nacho has every ingredient on it. Festive and delicious!! The drinks/ Margaritas are perfection!!

First time there, very nice atmosphere. Got seated right away. The food was good also was hot. Got a seafood and chips appetizer. Their was 4 of us and it was worth the trip. We will be back.

First impressions is everything authenticity beautiful and Margaritas mixing in the containers behind the bar are top notch delicious mmmmmm (Jonathan is the man to see !) And Give The Skinny Margratias !!!!!

Stopped in for lunch and was in and out in about half and hour. Festive but subdued atmosphere, speedy and friendly service and excellent prices on the lunch menu which is offered 11am-2:30pm 7 days a week. The enchiladas poblanos plate was a very satisfying portion and came with both beans and rice for $7. Will definitely come here more often.

Visit restaurant from out of town for the first with family ( a group of 20) and when I tell you I had the best experience and service was amazing . Our food was fresh and warm . They attended us super fast . I was so very amazed at the kind and friendly atmosphere they prove. The two Veronica’s that served us were some of the sweetest girls and can’t forget Miguel for recommending me Brochtas Maya the plate was delicious. I also recommended fiesta nachos .

I’m not sure how they do it but the service is just as good as the authentic food they serve and the margaritas they keep pouring. We’ve been regulars here for years and will never go anywhere else for Mexican. We love sitting outside during the summer but the inside is equally as gorgeous.

Great food, Friendly service. First time visiting this restaurant. Every dish was good. Had 7 people with 7 different items and all had its own distinct flavor.

The food is delicious & there's something for everyone. Best guacamole l've ever had & the fajitas are grilled to perfection. The decor and ambience is warm & cozy. I highly recommend El Maya.

This restaurant is a warm inviting atmosphere. Has a small deck off the side to dine outdoors. Very colorful, and authentic. The servers were all very helpful with descriptions of menu items. The platters were adequately sized, enough to take home. Lots of options to choose from.
Jonathan was our waiter he was very friendly, good customer service. They had several tv with different channels on to watch too.
I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. I enjoyed the experience and would go again to try other menu options.

Parking was easy, in the strip mall at the end, they can handle a busy night easily.
This place was pretty busy, not all tables filled, but most of them were, including the bar. We sat in a booth, which we had to adjust to fit us right. The floor was slippery, wear those kitchen shoes. We were sat in the back, just off the main dining floor, with an even more slippery floor. I was wearing trail runners, so I was the worst off. Next time we come back, I will ask to be sat in the main dining area. The whole inside of the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. The inside of the place was a beautiful site to take in. They had a Mariachi Band going from table to table, I guess it was my birthday, since they sang that to me. Thanks friends.

The service was so so...Our server took longer than average for anything we asked for. This is another reason I'd choose the main floor, so I can grab my server when needed.

Two of us ordered the 22oz Modelo Especial. They came out in beer mugs, not chilled, but the temperature was good throughout the whole beer. It was no Mexican Table, they have the coldest mugs so far. Lindsey ordered a MARG, mentioning that it was a little on the tart side with too much mix going on. Alex enjoyed a Jarritos tamarind soda. It looked like they had about every flavor. They had a good selection of tequila, around 20 or so. Julio 1942 clocking in at $20, Julio Anejo at $8.50, I think Alex had a Cuervo clocking in at $5. I went with the Anejo, got a little over a half shot pour. Come on now. Back to back nights dag nabbit!

Guacamole was a nice light green color, made to order in a big lava rock bowl. This was the homemade guacamole, which they bring to you on a cart in the main dining area. Nothing gets my engine revving like some table side guacamole! This is our favorite guacamole so far on this Delaware adventure.
The salsa was decent, had that Italian style flavor to it. What was better was the hot salsa that Alex had brought out with his tacos. Just order the hot salsa when you get you chips. The chips were good, fried light.

I ordered #1 Molcajete (Lava Rock Bowl) Rib-eye steak, shrimp and chorizo,grilled vegetables, queso fresco, avocado, jalapeno, onions and pineapple in salsa ranchera. Served with rice, beans, and tortillas.
The steak was grilled to perfection, melted in your mouth, and cut easily with a butter knife.
The shrimp was delicious, on a little wood skewer, 4 shrimp total.
The chorizo had a nice texture, and had a good heat to it.
All of the vegetables were amazing, I could have easily shared this bowl with another person. I brought half of the bowl home, warmed it up for lunch, and it was just as delicious the second time around. I was really pleased with what I got, and would do it again anytime.
The beans tasted as they should with a solid texture and consistency. The rice was soft and fluffy. Again, they knocked this out of the park.

The food is excellent and the service is great. Food is always hot and fresh
