Great facility overall!  Move in experience was so simple, I signed all the documents electronically. Reserved through phone and completed the necessary paperwork online. It is wonderful to see the storage space within the residential area.  They also have Uhaul although I didn’t need one.  Joselyd helped me with boxes and other supplies and digital app installation. Previous places I have had to punch in a code; this facility I was pleasantly surprised I could simply open the gate as I drove up to the facility using the app on the phone.  Once in, the unit can also be unlocked simply using the phone.  That’s great for me as I don’t have to carry any keys and if I want to give access to my contractors I can simply add them to the phone app.  Security and access are important to me so was good to know they have video surveillance and that my unit can be accessed 24x7.  Staff is wonderful and cooperative in different aspects like communication about upcoming work happening inside the storage facility, digital app issues resolution. I’d highly recommend it.

Very convenient place, easy and secure access with app. Highly appreciate Tim for the detail walkthrough. Would highly recommend, never saw any storage place to have so quick room assignment all done in 5 minutes with online.

Rented a uhual from here. Process was quick fast and easy. The gentleman was polite. Would rent from here again most definitely

After going thru the process with the app; when I got to the green light to open my unit#132 the slide bar was stuck and each time afterward t I had to hit the slidebar with a stick to unstick and open my unit

They called me recently about my issue with the lock on my unit and we arranged a time to meet with me at the unit.
There was one minor yet very important thing that made all the difference in the world that the lady showed me. We were in and out within 10 minutes. The replacement lock that she had brought along was not needed. And I came away a happy satisfied customer

Staff was polite and accommodating with all my questions about services being provided. Upon moving in the unit was clean and accessible. The whole integration of the smart app to access various account information as well as the unit is perfect. So far no complaints.

Tim was wonderful! The whole process was very quick, he made pleasant conversation while processing my information, then pulled my uhaul and we were on our way :)

Great last minute service. They had the vehicle I needed, registration paperwork went smoothly. Ended up without furniture dolly n moving blankets due to a miscommunication. Luckily, where I was loading from was able to loan me these items and NSS credited my account. When my 24 hrs was almost up I realized I still needed the truck for an unknown additional amount of time and was able to extend for another 24 hrs with just a phone call. When I returned the truck, check in the was quick and easy. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

This place saved our life literally. We are from GA, we were on our way to Boston as my hubby had a 2 week job there. Well a few hours before getting to Delaware the van started acting real strange but we keep driving bc we had a plan to make it to Boston the next day, well as soon as we were getting off at the biden welcome center the transmission goes completely out. We were stuck. We live in the woods we've never done uber or anything like that but this time we were truly stranded, knew no one but us. Nobody was very friendly so of course that made it a little harder but we finally get us an uber and find the first uhaul place we could. We get there and there are workers outside they told us he wasn't there and there was no one to speak with about a uhaul. So longer story short my husband's like there's gotta be someone here, low and behold this older gentleman come out and he had 1 Uhaul that was not reserved and we took it. This is a very nice place. Although I didn't know a uhaul cost $2,000 but hey we made it. Not sure about the storage but he got us back on the road. So needless to say what was supposed to have been an 18 hour drive turned into a 32 hour drive..

Checking out was simple and the staff was pleasant. We had reserved an appliance dolly but it was not returned by the previous renter by the time we picked up our truck. Tim was apologetic and offered a hand dolly free of charge. I would definitely rent from Newark Safe Storage again.

Tim at Newark Safe Storage is amazing and very helpful. I rented Vans with Tim through their uhaul contract. Some information was input incorrectly into their system and I was unfortunately overcharged (which still has not been fixed) but he tried every way possible to be in touch with the uhaul representatives to get the problem rectified. I appreciate how he went out of his way to help me. Now Uhaul on the other hand I will NEVER use again. Their local representative Rashan Williams is a useless and rude and, apparent to the paper work I received about my claim, a bold faced LIAR as well. I would definitely recommend renting a storage space from them though. Clean, personable and security is great! Thanks Tim for all you do!!

They are very helpful & understanding. The after hours phone support is not totally knowledgeable about the location and procedures but they tried to assist. The people at the unit are awesome. Thank you Jocelyd & Elizabeth.

I was pleased with the ease of ordering a truck, having it ready, when I arrived, and the ease of returning the truck. If I needed a truck again, I would use this dealer.
