South Jordan Animal Shelter

Morgan at the front desk was so nice and helpful! She helped me with whatever I needed and explained everything thoroughly and did not make me feel rushed at all. I got my dog licensed in under 10 minutes. Super easy process thanks to Morgan!

I first went to Sandy animal shelter with a puppy that I found last night, and they were pretty rude about how they told me that I did not find him within their district. So, I took him to South Jordan animal shelter where they were very welcoming and even though it was not within their district either, they still took the puppy and made sure they took my information down. They were very polite, and I really appreciated their help! Highly suggested for anybody that wants to adopt a pet.

Top class people over here , willing to go Out of their way to help you find your pets or whatever. They're awesome love, Em.

I adopted my cat from here. The women there was really kind and existed for me and the cat.

Is there really only one animal available for adoption in this shelter? I've been checking their petfinder website for weeks and it only says there is one malamute mix for adoption. Are there adoption events? They aren't open on the weekend so if there are other animals available for adoption at the South Jordan Animal Shelter, where can we go to view them?

How are you suppose to visit the shelter to adopt if you have a regular job? It is not open on weekends and closes at 4 on Friday.
I was hoping to adopt a cat, but they are literally not available for me to do so.

Let me adopt a cat that wasn't spayed

Sign on the window says shelter open until 6pm Mondays... I got off work early to come down and adopt a specific dog and arrived at 4:53. Passed the Animal control truck at the street corner heading out. Doors are locked, sign says closed and was unable to reach a human by phone. Left a voicemail.

Dishonest. Would never trust these people again.
