Cozy place in Wisconsin. Our waitress was amazing to talk to and super sweet. Highly recommend their Boom boom shrimp and their Reuben sandwich!!

Excellent time, drinks and food. To Bloody Marys - superb, A Patty Melt - great. Our wait staff was fast, friendly and helpful. No problem with Herner's Hideaway today.

This place is very relaxed with amazing food. From out of state and this was the first restaurant I ate out. Vibes are just great.

My wife and I stopped in last night since we had time to kill and had always wanted to check out Herner’s. Great place and really relaxed atmosphere. We had a couple appetizers and a few drinks. The food was hot and tasted great! The service from Michelle at the bar was outstanding and the drinks were excellent! We will definitely be back!

We just tried Herners recently, and we're AMAZED by the plant based options available on the menu! We are obsessed with the hummus appetizer plate, soooo good! This is our new go to! Thank you Herners hideaway!

Food is great and portions are huge. 4 of us dine in and the bill was $83 plus tip. Highly recommend. Warm German salad and Potato pancakes are the hit of Herner’s. Friday fish fry was very tasty. That place is right on IL-WI state line. 22 oz beer for $6.25. Must go place!

I stopped in here a couple times during my visit to this area. I stopped on a Friday with their fish fry which was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend the potato pancakes. I also got the Reuben which was very tender and you see and how you recommend that as well. May have great drinks and prices and reasonably priced

Food was amazing. Rueda was awesome. My pickey kid ordered potato skins and house salad and slammed them. Wife got the patty melt.... biggest patty melt I've ever seen. 10 of 10 for food service and hole in the wall Wisconsin bars... will return many times.

Wow! Locals directed us to Herner's and are we glad they did! Food is delicious and portions are plentiful. My husband indulged in Mac n Cheese topped with pulled pork...rich and creamy and decadent. I can't believe he ate the whole thing! I behaved myself with a dinner salad that was gigantic for a mere 4. as well as potato skins, that were thick and cheesy, bacon topped and sour cream to boot! (I could only finish 2! The rest came home with me!

This place is a hidden gem! Been here a few times and have always had great service and great food! The atmosphere is comfortable and everyone is very friendly. They have a lot of food options on their menu. I really enjoyed the hangover burger with tater tots!

The pulled pork and chips nacho was outstanding.

Also had the Ruben and German potato salad fresh cornbeef and sourkrut and fun atmosphere.

Will be back to try more of the very fresh from scratch food!!!

Love this place. Good food, atmosphere and live music. The Famous Reuben and Cast Iron Baked Haddock are so good!

I can not believe nobody has told us about this location and talked about the food. Great corned beef sandwich and burgers! A must try if you have not gone there. Service was fast and friendly as well. And huge portion!

Fun hang out place with great activities to meet with friends. Check out Bingo night! Enjoy the large menu with great french fries!! My favorite part was they brought my iced tea with a straw in the pitcher!!!

I positively love this place.

It has tall shots, low prices, amazing staff, and great food with an AWESOME Friday fish fry.

I got to come here for a few weeks working through the area. And I truly will miss it.

Came from Texas for a bachelor party and Michelle made me experience so incredible just by being her gracious self I needed to leave this review. I may live a thousand miles away but I will be back for sure

Came here for the famous Reuben, and I was not disappointed! The meat was so tender it nearly slid out of the sandwich, and every bite down to the warm toasted marble rye was as good as the last!

Absolutely some of the best food in the area! Super fun in the summer too with the live entertainment outside!

I have eaten there several times and food has been consistently good, the service is always great, in fact we had simply delightful server name Sam , she was very personable and mentioned all the specials and was attentive even after our food arrived, she was cheerful and engaging, she made the experience rather enjoyable!
