Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant

Was in town for the morning and stopped in here for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were honestly fantastic, the atmosphere was laid back, and the service was top notch! Not sure why I have never been here before but if you’re in town, certainly make a stop to grab some of the best breakfast in Eau Claire! We had the meat lovers omelette, ham and cheese omelette, and the 2 eggs breakfast! All were delicious. The hashbrowns are amazing and worth the hype!

We are New to the area and thought we would check out this place, our kids where growing restless as we just got out of the DMV, they knocked the apple juice all over the place, the kind waitress brought us some more napkins and some more apple juice. Even brought us some toy cars to keep the kiddos occupied. Great service!

Talk about great experience, great food and fantastic ownership. I can’t say enough about this place. If your driving through and visit eau claire you need to make sure you skip the big chains and give this family breakfast a try!

What a great little busy place. Food was great, fast, and workers were all very busy yet they stayed so friendly. We are from hour away came to town to shop always go to a local place to eat. We will be back so worth it.

During a road trip, hunger struck after a night of late-night driving, leading me to discover Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant in a quaint town. I was promptly seated, and the friendly staff set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable breakfast experience.

The restaurant was bustling with activity, reflecting its family-friendly atmosphere. Although the place was quite busy, the staff managed to seat me quickly. However, the anticipation built up as the food took a bit of time to arrive, understandable given the morning rush.

As I settled in, I couldn't help but notice the lively family-oriented setting, with children scattered throughout the restaurant. While the presence of kids was expected in a family restaurant, the boisterous behavior of the youngsters in the booth behind me added an unexpected twist to the ambiance. Their enthusiasm took a mischievous turn, involving the launching of french fries and turning around on the booth. Additionally, the cacophony from loud iPads blaring music videos about "skibity toilets" became a persistent soundtrack, occasionally testing my patience.

Fortunately, the arrival of the food shifted the focus back to the delightful breakfast awaiting me. The meal surpassed expectations, delivering a delicious and satisfying experience. The fair pricing and impeccable service further enhanced the overall positive impression, making it a perfect start to my day and road trip.

In retrospect, while the exuberant antics of the neighboring kids added a unique touch to my visit, the standout quality of the food and the attentive service at Chick-A-Dee's Family Restaurant overshadowed any momentary disruptions. It served as a comforting and hearty breakfast stop, leaving me fueled and ready for the next leg of my journey.

The food is awesome. Portion sizes are large; you definitely won’t leave hungry! Service has been great every time, food is a great value, and it’s a very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we are in Eau Claire. The steak and eggs is my favorite. Stop in! You’ll be happy you did!

A great family restaurant. I've been there many times and honestly never had a bad experience or bad food. Always a favorite.

The prices where very good. The food was great. The staff was very friendly. The owners are a hoot! And if you are fortunate enough to meet the mini owners hold on to your hat, they are the best!!

Great food. Cozy atmosphere. The waitress we had was so sweet! The portions were amazing. I ordered the Friday night Fish special. I couldn't even finish it! It was delicious and well made.

New to town and food and service are second to none. Their hash browns are best I've ever had! Headed there for lunch now. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

If in a Eau Claire,Wisc must go there what I had = french toast w/bacon and 2 egg hash browns and bacon. Excellent. Great place must go there

By far BEST BREAKFAST in town!! The rest of the menu is tip top....fish fry, deep fried gizzards, homemade house salad dressing...YUMMMM.....I eat here almost every time I’m in Eau Claire. I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl. I’m pretty sure there’s a couple of the same waitresses working 30+ years. Great price. They even have Dum-Dum suckers for an after meal treat! My kids love this place, my mom, literally the whole family loves Chick-A-Dee’s. I hope it’s around another 40+ years right in the same tiny spot! 🙏🏻

Great local place good food friendly staff

Very affordable! Most of the menu items (at least for breakfast) are under $9. They have great specials for early birds under $6. I had platter of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 toast, and hashbrowns for just $5.75. Pretty good! Basically, a very good restaurant if you want decent food for great prices. It's a small and cozy place.

I've known this place my whole life, every time I walk I remember my grandfather. Love the hashbrowns!
