Waffle House

I must start this review off with compliments to EBONY, who was the hostess that greeted us from the door!!! She was AMAZING and set the tone for our entire visit.
Not only was she a friendly and lively burst of sunshine, she went above and beyond on the customer service with everyone she interacted with, making sure our drinks were topped off, had the correct jelly and syrup, and made sure our orders were correct. This was my second time at this establishment and my husband's first. We will be back and hope that Ebony is there when we return
The rest of the crew worked so well together handling a very busy crowd, but all the customers had smiles on their faces without complaints. The food was served fast, hot and flavorful. Great food for the price.

Hello Southern Hospitality! Second time eating WH ever. First time was in ATL, second time was here in Delaware. Food was good, the atmosphere was dope. The entire trip was a vibe. Awesome staff really put it over the top. I highly recommend stopping thru and grabbing yourself an All-Star breakfast for $10+!

Came here at 5AM today, extraordinarily hungry. The two young men working the restaurant were super polite and friendly, served me an all star meal within a couple minutes. The eggs were cooked just how I like them and the grits were fantastic. The toast was great and buttery, and the waffle was thick and crispy. They were very nice hardworking guys, I wish I could have left a larger tip.

I love waffle house so I am biased and I know there is a stigma surrounding this establishment but so far the newest waffle house on 40 has been my favorite to frequent. The staff is always kind and welcoming and they pride themselves on providing fast and efficient service. And as far goes the food I always get the all star waffle breakfast with cheese grits bacon and hashbrowns at any waffle house and I personally believe they prepared it the best by far. Compliments to the chef!

Waffle House has always had a special place in my heart, because they understand the value of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. They have kept everything the same. I especially want to give a shout out to Jackie at the Bear Delaware location. She is pleasant knowledgeable And efficient, thumbs up to Jackie. Maybe you might consider bringing a waffle house to the Wilmington Delaware area

It's a waffle House. I gave it five stars compared to other waffle houses, not super expensive and fancy restaurants. I visited it on a busy weekday breakfast rush. The staff knew what they were doing and the food came out fast and as expected. A good experience, exactly what I wanted from a waffle House.

Stopped by here during our trip from NJ to Ocean City Maryland. Looking for a casual breakfast place for my girlfriend and I.

We are so happy we chose this as our stop, walked in, and immediately welcomed, told to sit anywhere we would like. Our server was really sweet, even complimenting my girlfriends nails that she just got done. The food was delicious, perfect to hold us over for the rest of our drive. Left smiling and just amazed by the atmosphere of the place, you don't get that in New Jersey.

I'm surprised by the other reviews saying they're "rude." I'm just guessing they've never been to a restaurant in NJ because this is definitely one of the sweetest atmospheres of a fast food place we've ever been to. Wish it was closer to us we'd go all the time.

Wish I remembered the name of our server on that Wednesday. She deserves some recognition!

We live in NJ and the closest WH is 55 miles away in DE I travel south several times a year so I get my WH fix often. My wife schedules a trip to MGM Casino in MD every 5 weeks so we get to enjoy WH on those trips. I was woken up by her and told Happy Wife Happy Life and a good ole fashion WH breakfast will make me Happy. Hope everyone enjoyed breakfast I know I will 😀

Drove from South Jersey to Waffle House for my birthday. Busy Saturday morning as expected. Waited maybe 15 mins. Ebony was our server. She killed it. Was very attentive even busy.

Wonderful crew, every single staff member brought a smile to my face. I wish every place of business displayed this level of kindness and compassion.

Haven't gone to a waffle house in years. This location had awesome customer service and tasty food. My little family was satisfied.

First time getting food there. Their reputation is well-deserved. I hadn't known we had a Waffle House in DE until last week; the only one I knew of was the one in Elkton.

Its the Waffle House you know what your getting it's amazing. The best part is the food always taste the same no matter which location you go too.

Went there 10:15 on a Saturday. We were greeted almost as soon as we came in the door. The staff was very cordial and attentive.Destinee, our waitress was great. The smothered HBs I had were wonderful! Fresh onions. Best I've had at a WH. The bacon was perfect- ordered it crispy and it was just right- not burnt. Waffles were great as usual. They had about 9-10 people working there and it was full, but people didn't seem to have to wait too long. They served things as they were cooked, so you got it fresh. My wife said the bathroom was clean. The place was clean and well lit. The AC was at a decent temperature. Sometimes WHs can be cold.... If you're coming in the back way from Church Rd, go in through the fence- easy to miss.

Long wait time during peak hours because the cooks are busy making their best! Hashbrowns were a lil cold, but waffles were perfect!

The Waffle House has the best and most delicious Waffles than any place in the United States , East coast . Best place to have a really delicious breakfast. Waffles, grits, sides, coffee and friendly employees. Great place to have a delicious breakfast especially with your children. My sons loved the Waffle House restaurant while traveling by car to FL. They are also up in PA. I ha e not been to the Waffle Houses in the state of PA yet, but I do plan on going in the near future since there aren't any Waffle House restaurants in the state of NJ. Wish they would open up here in Atlantic County, NJ. No one has had a delicious Waffle until they eat at the Waffle House ! Thankyou Waffle House . Located on the east coast of the US from PA to FL.
