Very casual place with simple interior. My dishes of French onion soup and Ceviche did not disappoint. Well made and tasty. The patio is right on the water with ample sitting. Huge bar area wraps around the space.

Went for the first time tonight and it was awesome! Had deep fried cod and fries. I got the blackened fries and they tasted great. The cod looked like it was heavily battered but it wasn't and it was perfect. The atmosphere is very nice with spacious dining area. Can't wait to go back. Only change I'll make is to have them put blackened seasoning on the fish! Great place!

A friend and I eat there frequently, sometimes just an appetizer and glass of wine. Their hummus platter is a favorite of ours, and we share it. Plenty for two people. In the summer and fall, it is great to be able to sit on the two-level deck on the edge of the Yahara River and watch the boats go by. We have always had very good service there.

I've been going to Waypoint for years and I can honestly say that the service and quality of food has been the most consistent out of any restaurant in Madison. The drinks are top notch. Huge beer menu. The house style wings are the hidden gem on the menu. Best wings in Madison.

We enjoyed fish plates in wonderful sun on the patio today .. entertained by white pelicans. The grilled walleye and salad and fried walleye and sweet potato fries were accompanied by a generous serving of creamy slaw. A Krombacher to wash it down was the touch it called for.

Large restaurant with a deck overlooking the water. Not far off the highway.

Friendly service, large menu, and tasty entrees. Our waitress answered questions and made suggestions for our group of five.

We enjoyed the Cheese Curds and the Hummus Plate as appetizers. The summer salad was FANTASTIC! Fresh, lots of fruit, a good serving size. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees.

We chose the place based on the rating and the location for an easy meet-up. We'd definitely return.

We went here before we got on the boat, sat outside and ate our food, looked over the water, excellent staff, very friendly staff, and the food was fantastic I definitely recommend this place.

SUNDAY BRUNCH, I loved it! Amalia was such a great host at the bar, and is a fabulous bartender. She created some craft drinks for me. She also had the best recommendation for brunch items. Tip of the hat to the wonderful team. The dock made it much easier to get to (by boat) and we didn't have to deal with finding a parking space in the crowded parking lot shared by the residences above. It is very easy to miss the entrance if you aren't looking. Oh, love the brisket nachos as well. Just wish wings would be available more often.

This is a fun place on the south side of Madison (really Monona area) that is unique. Good food and decent drink selection. It's an upscale sports bar maybe? However you describe it, definitely worth checking out!

First time here for a Sunday brunch and had the very delicious Waypoint Benedict with a mimosa. The brunch potatoes come tossed with a slightly tangy sauce for some added flavor. I am sure you could ask to skip that if you prefer. Outdoor seating was nice but you do hear and see the beltline traffic. On a nice day it is still worth it. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful.

Great food, staff was very friendly, nice atmosphere thought maybe a little dark. Little tricky to tell where it is from the parking lot so if your a traveler and are like ummm this is just a resedtial condo.. it's at the end near the water, there was so out side Reno's maybe there will be more obvious sign, but place was pretty busy even beeing hard to find.

Great beer list, good food, nice staff, great patio and the inside is very nice as well. Just visited again after a year. Still like the place. Sitting outside on the river is sweet. The Beltline is just a low roar. Had 3 great beers, wings (dry rub) were fantastic. Deviled eggs were fun, with a bacon strip jammed in the top! Wait staff were fun, prompt and helpful. There's a pier if you wanna stop by on your transit between Waubesa and Monona too!!

Came here with a group of 7 over the weekend. Food, drinks and service were top notch. Could use a bit more lighting at night to read menus (6pm winter in the corner was dark). Otherwise definitely will be back.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I was meeting a friend who recommended it. I must admit I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and fresh tasting both of our dishes. I also enjoyed the tequila anejo old fashioned!

This is a seasonal spot for a friend and I. We always meet here after an event. The beer is always changing but it’s always good. Big brand beers are not what this place is about. Always a large craft beer list and I’ve never been disappointed with what I choose. Food is good. This particular trip I had the pepper jack chicken sandwich. My only complaint is the bun should be toasted because the sandwich doesn’t hold together very well. I ended up having to use a fork and knife to finish it. Great sandwich, just falling out all over the place.

Great food. Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Cranberry Walnut Salad had excellent presentation and is one of the best salad I've had (added chicken).

Very calm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was great. We sat outside overlooking the water. They had a lot of kids options though they don’t have a printed kids menu so if you bring young kids along be sure to ask! I’m very much the type to take photos of my plate but I was so excited I forgot! They have a great variety and very reasonably priced. we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Great place. Very COVID cautious. Great beer selection. I had a Fat Squirrel from New Glarus, one of my favorites. The cheese curds are possibly the best I've ever had. I ordered the ABLT sandwich and fries. Everything was great, especially the friendly, masked servers!!

Great place to get a beer, great selection. Only tried the cheese curds but they were fantastic, crispy and salty as cheese curds go.

If you want a hardy Midwest meal and drink this is the place for you. For me, the bluegill sandwich, spicy veggie chili and a big WI beer hits the spot. They also have other sandwiches, entrees and salads. Check it out.
