Beautiful place! I could see why this restaurant was voted best diner and breakfast. We enjoyed everything we had. The service was excellent. Clean and loved the woodwork on the walls. Best breakfast sausage we ever ate. The Western omelette is also delicious. This will be a place we come back to every time we are in town. Prices were also good just remember CASH only.

I used to work at Newport family restaurant years ago as a me and my sister Joanne. First job ever gave me the most experience that I carry on through life. Maria was the owner.When I was working there. Maria and her daughter the best people I've ever known. Even food today is very excellent and the service is excellent always have and always will be AWESOME!!! EVEN TODAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WILL GENERAL LOVE AND CONSIDERATION OF OTHERS. IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE TRY IT IT'S EXCELLENT

It's a well kept secret. Food is good. Waitress was friendly. Reasonable prices. Excellent chicken croquettes.

I had a great chicken BLT wrap. Everything was really fresh & delicious, reasonably priced. These folks DO NOT take charge cards, but they will take a check!

My boyfriend and I love coming here when we are really fixing for cream chipped beef. Staff is always friendly and food is always good!

This restaurant has a very homey feel with great service and the food is prepared quickly, freshly and tasty. They are well set up for coronavirus social distancing and the interior of the diner is cool. Even though it is strange that they have carpet the floor.

Reliable breakfast spot, fast service, yummy homecooked food, and menu has not changed in at least 15 years! All affordable, CASH only.

First time I ever went was about 2 weeks ago
My husband and I went for breakfast. It was absolutely amazing. The waitress was awesome as well. Definitely will be back. Wish I knew about this place sooner.

Every time I go there I get a western omelette it is the best. I've had I go everywhere to check and I find none better.

Stopped for lunch, after seeing all of the good reviews. They are right! I had some late breakfast and the spouse had a club sandwich.

Food was very good, serving sizes plentiful without being overwhelming.

A simple egg with bacon included toast and AMAAZZZING hash brown potatoes.

It definitely feels like a throwback to a simpler time. Which is a good thing. The prices were very reasonable as well.

Their scrapple egg and cheese omelette is the absolute best! The waitresses are always friendly. It's a cash-only establishment but they have an ATM inside the place though. But I think the ATM charges you a couple dollars for using it so bring cash with you ahead of time. I highly recommend this place for the breakfasts. That's mainly what I get whenever I order takeout or eat in. And the portions they give you are really big so you're getting some good bang-for-the-buck.
