Tully's II Food & Spirits

We stayed at nearby motel in December 2023 and we were tired as we arrived but needed something to eat. We checked out nearby restaurants and were somewhat nervous to try the place right next door due to reviews , We were traveling south for the winter through Madison.The place was just what we were looking for. Service was excellent. We shared a patty melt and had each had a drink. The atmosphere was lively and had a very welcoming ambiance. There was a pool tournament going on that looked very fun , if you played pool, and the bar was filled with people that all greeted each other and were very friendly. A couple that entered as we did went out of their way to make room for us at the bar. Our waitress could not have been better, friendly and efficient. It seemed like the google reviews were all people from the past that had made comments and I thought we should share that this was a very good experience if you are looking for a place to have good food in nice friendly atmosphere.Good job Wisconsin!!

Casual place with a friendly atmosphere. Not busy on a Saturday afternoon. We all thought the food was really good - Philly steak, Fish sandwich and a chicken wrap. I would definitely go again if I found myself in Madison.

Very local atmosphere, they have a free salad bar sometimes. Service seemed very good so that was super nice. The fish portions are a little lower than average but I forgot they had the salad bar.

Not just a bar with food. The steak n lobster 🦞 were legit. Pizza is pretty on point, also available frozen to go.

I was very happy with the food and service. This was my first time but it won’t be my last time.

The food is always good with great service and a warm hometown atmosphere.

Had a great last minute group function at Tully's and the staff were really accommodating and friendly. The food was great and the drinks were good.

Honestly, I love going to Tully's! My husband and I first went in 2019 after moving to McFarland. Whenever we want good bar food at an amazing price, we go to Tully's!

The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent and the service was also excellent. Close to our hotel, we were in town for a Badger game and looking for a good place to eat close to our hotel that served good drinks also, this was it. We will be back.

Stopped here after touring the Capital and Madison for a drink and appetizer before heading to Baraboo. Cheese curds were delicious along with the beer! Service and atmosphere were awesome.

I recently ate here for the first time. The food is really good. The atmosphere is terrific. People are so nice and friendly sitting at the bar. There wasn't too long of a wait for my food after I ordered and everything came perfect. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable.

Celebrated my friends birthday at Tully's (my 1st time there). It was kinda like that TV show, "Cheers" from way back in the day. Servers and patrons all had non judgemental vibes. The Fish fry was on point, Wow! The past 10 years Culver's has been my favorite just because everyone has been dropping the ball. But not Tully's! Kudos to them, I'll be back.

Great drinks and great food! I recommend the Old Fashioneds.

Perfect portions for the price. Loved my curly fries and the only drawback was a little too much tazziki sauce on my gyro. We were a group of 6 and needed separate checks. Our waitress didn't even flinch and got it all right. Service was timely and we got back to work on time.

First time eating at this restaurant, decided to try the Friday or you can eat fish fry. The beer battered cod was lightly coated, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The baked cod was also seasoned nicely and the warm butter served on the side topped it off. The salad bar was fresh and had a nice variety of items to choose from. The wait staff was pleasant, prompt and checked on us regularly even as a restaurant began to fill. If you’re looking for a good fried or baked cod, I definitely recommend Tully’s. We will be coming back to try other items on the menu.

What a suprise place for breakfast. Really good food, server was great. If you are around Madison check out Tully's, reasonable priced good food

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and were met with a warm and inviting staff and customers. We had some delicious deep fried mushrooms, a very good black and blue burger , fresh blt and the sweet potato fries were some of the best we've ever had. The drinks we had were very well made and did not require more or less of anything. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back in the future. Tonya was sweet and wonderful, she gets a 10 out of10 for being attentive and welcoming.

It is a bar, but the bartender was friendly and the food was very good and was served hot and fast. He new the the friend I was with and greeted her warmly.

My Mom and I had great experience! For the past 8 years, my Mom and I have done a girls weekend in the area. I live in Indiana and my Mom lives in Minnesota. Anyway, we like to find new places for a good dinner and we decided to give Tully's II a try. We were very impressed with the service, the variety of menu items, and the taste of the food! We plan to return next year and make this our new "go to" place!
