U of U Health Sugar House Health Center

Regardless of location, each U of U Health Clinic is a top-notch facility. The buildings are modern, bright, and inviting. The people who work at these facilities are generally very nice and helpful. My visits to the Sugarhouse branch have been very good. I'm not a fan of the faked piano music - I would rather see a real, live person playing than the digital, sterile background music electronically generated (I understand the reasoning behind that choice). Of course, that in no way diminishes the quality of care given at the location. Also, there isn't a lot of parking available. On a busy day, it can be difficult to find an open space. There is valet parking, though.

This is a great location. They have every service I need and a great staff.

I'd never been to this area of the U of U Hospital/Clinics. I had to go there for a special blood test for Allergies. I was surprised at how big the place is. I only went to one area in this U of U Hospital/Clinics building. I didn't have to wait long to get my blood draw. The Urgent Care area is there also. It wasn't crowded. It's wheelchair friendly. This U of U is located off of the I-80 Eastbound Freeway. Take exit to 13th East. Turn left. At the stoplight, turn left and you are there. There are restaurants & stores to visit next door.
If you are hungry, there is a small food/snack area inside of the U of U Sugarhouse site.

I like this location. Just remember Urgent Care isn’t the right choice in some instances. See the UoU website. I have several good docs there including my PCP. Imaging is very good.

I went to U of U for the radiology department today. Greeted with a smile and called back quickly! Kim, the sonographer, was so kind, respectful, and professional. I appreciated her demeanor very much. Thank you Kim!

Literally the best family practice I've been to. There all so kind and want to help. These Dr's are there for u. Dr A and Dr B ....every one are so amazing! I would highly recommend this practice I'm lucky to be a patient.....Thanks guy's!!

I went to the MFM related scans, NSTs, ultrasounds here during pregnancy. I can say I walked away with new friends, probably one of the best experiences I've had in Healthcare my entire life. I miss going to see them weekly!

In and out faster than most doctors offices. Fell hiking and dislocated my shoulder. Went to get an xray the next day and I was in and out in an hour. The bill wasn’t nice but they were so friendly, fast and had awesome service. Thank you critical care workers on a Sunday!

Incredible blood lab. The phlebotomists are attentive and very good at their job. Would recommend to anyone.

The Pharmacy Techs and other staff members are are always most helpful and super nice people. At my age that is something unexpected and appreciated.

Prompt, efficient and polite. Never had to wait for my doctor(s) when my appt time is ready they always call me back a few minutes before, so the staff can take a history, do vitals etc.

Parking can be a challenge, but they do have a free valet service because of the limited parking.

Demetria was super helpful in scheduling the appointment. Really thorough, patient, considerate, kind, and helpful.

The personnel are always friendly and professional. I would much rather go here than to the University.

This is for Erica who drew my daughter 's blood today. She listened to us about what arm works best ( which doesn't usually happen). My daughter doesn't like needles and Erica was so great! She was so calm and reassuring! The draw went great! Thank you Erica!

My providers are some of the best in the Salt Lake Valley. The view is beautiful and calming

U of U Sugarhouse has been my main pharmacy for a few years now and they are awesome! Friendly staff, my meds are quickly filled and if there is ever a problem with my script, they contact my dr’s immediately. The building is very nice. Easy to park in the outside or the garage. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for working with patients when young adults make decisions that cause insurance issues.
