Room was great. Just a little stuffy and the A/C didn’t get below 70. I stayed for a week for an Executive Education program at Tuck. That involved a lot of catered food from the hotel, all of which was great. The vibe of the hotel is great. Updated without loosing too much of the historical charm.

Fantastic hotel, within feet of Dartmouths main campus. Beautiful decor and setting, with plenty of historical elements too. Busiest during the school year and celebratory weekends, so book early.

Beautiful inn, great conference space, and comfortable seats. The pastries and snacks were wonderful. Right across the road from Dartmouth Green.

Stayed here for 12 days while attending a class at Dartmouth. The hotel is nice and the staff are wonderful. The Pine restaurant in the hotel has one of the best burgers I’ve had in ages. My biggest issue was that the hot water took about 10 minutes to get to my 3rd floor room. The AC failed twice in the time I was there but the room still stayed fairly cool. Oh, and I got to hang with the Dartmouth Sun God!

Hanover Inn has a great location right inn Dartmouth University. the hotel is clean and the rooms are very nice. it is definitely the place you want to stay if you are visiting Dartmouth as there are restaurants and grocery stores close to the hotel.

Valet park was $30 per day which isnt bad considering when we were in Boston the Marriot was more than double that.

i forgot to take photos but we had 2 queen sized beds in the room and very clean bathroom + a lot of luggage since we traveled from overseas. the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us

Absolutely beautiful period hotel with wonderful architecture, facilities, and restaurant. You’ll enjoy a very “homey” experience within its confines. The Inn is also located adjacent to the main square of Dartmouth College campus, which is also beautiful.

Pine restaurant consistently delivers the best meals in the upper valley. And their cocktails are the best in the area.

The food here changes periodically and is always delicious. Their brunch options are a little oversized though. Service is usually good and they're situated in a prime location. If you're in Hanover, you should eat here once!

Our visit this past weekend for a family wedding was great. From the incredibly friendly front desk, to the clean and comfortable rooms, to the facilities for the reception, it was an all-around perfect visit.

I live about an hour and a half north of Hanover. My wife, who was visiting family in New Zealand, was returning after long trip and arriving in Hanover at 9pm, from the Dartmouth Coach’s Logan airport run. Not being a fan of driving at night I decided to book a room at the Hanover Inn. The location of the Inn is at the epicenter of the town directly across from Dartmouth Colleges’ main quad, convenient to it all, and perfect for our needs. When I arrived, I was greeted by the valet and immediately felt welcome. Stepping into the Inn this feeling carried through with Sam who checked me in. We stayed in room 408 which is a well-appointed suite overlooking the campus. I was originally concerned with street noise but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. I was most impressed with the high quality of the bed, so uncommon for even boutique hotels, which provided a most comfortable night sleep for its’ weary travelers. From the start, the intention of staying at the inn was just a place to spend the night, but surprisingly provided much more. The Inn has an atmosphere that is warm, relaxing, and yes, conducive to unplanned romance! To sum it up, the Inn is a blend of history, elegance, a touch of enchantment, and superior service from start to finish. If traveling to southern New Hampshire or Vermont, do not miss the opportunity to stay here, and if you can suite 408. Special thanks to Frank and Brian!

The Hanover Inn is a beautiful, well run hotel. I stay here when visiting my daughter at The College. The location directly across the street from Dartmouth College and on picturesque Main St can not be beat. The staff are always so welcoming and kind. The service is always amazing. The rooms are cozy and very clean. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I always look forward to my stays here.

Some friends and I recently went to the bar at the Hanover Inn. The bartender, Tom, was top notch. He was an expert at the art of creating cocktails and very knowledgeable about them. He was very personable and contributed to the six of us having a great experience.

Arrived in Hanover late with no reservations and just stumbled upon the Hanover Inn. They gave us a great rate, even upgrading us to a suite for our larger family. Really excellent staff! Valet parked our cars (we had two) and were so helpful getting all of our luggage unloaded. The sofa bed in our room was made up for us, and extra towels and blankets brought in without even asking. They just anticipated our needs. So rare these days. The decor of the hotel is perfect for the location. Dark green walls in the lobby seating area with a large fireplace and a mix of antique style sofas and leather armchairs evoke a study you might find on a grand estate. The suite had a padded bench with a brass swing-arm lamp mounted on the wall. Very cool touch. Beautiful marble bathrooms (two bathrooms in a hotel, just awesome!) Beds were very comfortable too. Highly recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful one night stay on a mobile family vacation at this historic inn in quaint old New England. Enjoyed the well appointed King bedroom corner suite with a beautiful view of the town square and old streets. The huge X-mas tree lit against fresh snow at night was magical as we were cozy in the comfy room. Also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant with top-notch service. All in all a perfect stop on our trip and highly recommended.

It is so beautiful! Not all four stars are made equal. This is at a whole different level. It was totally squeaky clean. I loved the room and the restroom. Even the shower area's floor was squeaky clean. All the faucets, shower head, knobs and door handles everything was new and shiny. I did not see any little rust or mold anywhere which sometimes I see in other four stars. The hotel is very classic and colonial in decor. It's kind of like visiting your old grandmother's house if she was rich. It is exquisitely made but very homely. I wish my house looked like this. Their room service was excellent. The restaurant on site has awesome menu. I almost ate all my meals here and did not regret any of them.

I was visiting on business to recruit at Dartmouth and was delighted to stay at the Hanover Inn. Valet and check-in was quick and easy; and I was given a lovely corner room with a great view of the green. I proceeded to order room service and get some work done. The food came quickly and was excellent! It is way less room-service and way more like restaurant delivery from Pine downstairs. Hot, fresh, and incredibly unique/tasty menu. The room was clean, wifi fast, and switches/controls easy to locate and use. The water was very hot but not a ton of water pressure so don't plan on getting all of your conditioner rinsed out. Check out was quick and the kind clerk not only offered to store bags but have them put in the car. Excellent service, food, and experience. Will surely stay the next time I'm in town.
