Hong's blows other Burlington-area Asian food out of the water. Hours are limited but it's very worth it. The shop walls are a testament to the impact Hong's food has had on this town. Highly recommend!

A Burlington Staple! Only open a few days a week but oh-so worth it if you can go. The chili oil is awesome and don't forget to grab a steam bun. Everything is absolutely incredible and reasonably priced for how good it is. Minimal seating so may be best to walk down to Battery Park for lunch and a view

Absolutely delicious! Amazing service!
Was heading home after taking my daughter to the dentist and did not check ahead of time to see if they were open or closed. Hong opened up and let us order dumplings, my daughter was blown away and can’t wait to go back with friends!
We will definitely be returning!!!

Hole in the wall standing restaurant designed for take out. They have two very small tables but would be pretty crowded to eat in. We had cheese and chicken dumplings which were incredible! Pork fried rice was good. Pork dumplings were good.

I remember when Hong's was a cart on Church Street. I had not been to the store front until recently. I am happy to report that the quality is still the same-awesome!!! We arrived just before noon on a Friday, and our order was taken fairly quickly. By the time our party of 4 finished ordering, the line was out the door and onto the sidewalk.
Madame Hong took 10 or so orders and then went to work putting them together. We waited about 20 minutes for the food but it was worth the wait!
I had the 4 dumpling option and was able to choose different fillings. The dumplings were huge, hot, and delicious. I also got a side of the chili dipping sauce. It was fantastic but if you are not a fan of spice, be careful. It has quite the kick.
There's an option to pre order, on line, so if you are in a hurry or have limited time, this is probably the best option.
There's limited in restaurant seating so plan on take out. Two of my companions ordered a combo, split it and had left overs. I was not able to finish all of my dumplings.

I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back to try other options.

@hongsdumplings was out of this world! The scallion pancake made me weep. I should have gotten 32 more to go! The other delicious pic are the Chicken & Cheese dumplings and a Crab & Cream Cheese dumpling. Sweet Mary Moses.... Nom Nom. We even got to meet and have a little chat with Ms. Hong! Whoot!

The food here is absolutely delicious, but I think an in-store electronic ordering system of some sort could be very helpful in keeping things organized and less stressful. Toast may have an option in which people can click on an iPad and an order number is given. Still the best dumplings either way 💕.

Small restaurant with the most incredible food in burlington! These dumplings and bao blew our minds!!! We did take out which was perfect but it was genuinely the best food I have had in a while! The woman working was so sweet! This is absolutely my new favorite spot in Burly!! Will 1000% be returning soon:)

Came by ten minutes after closing, she was locking up. We asked if there was any way we could buy some dumplings. She graciously let us in, we forgot to lock the door and another guy walked in behind us, she served him too. We ordered 16 dumplings and watched her hand make them to order. We talked to her while she made our food. She is very charming and cute. There is limited stool seating but that was fine for us. She has multiple sauces for the dumplings. The dumplings are large and chewy. We all preferred the pork but the creamcheese crab was also well liked. The food was excellent but the 5 stars are for her. She is one of those special people, works hard, shares her love. The dumplings and restaurant aren't about the asthetics, dig a little deeper and you will find what you are looking for.

I was craving dumplings and was so happy to see a dumpling place downtown Burlington! The chili oil I got on the side was so good. I recommend this place if you are in the Burlington area. The only shame is that they aren’t open every day!

If you’re going to make it to only one restaurant in Burlington, it needs to be this one. The dumplings are incredible, the staff are lovely, and everything is just perfect! I love the veggie dumplings the most.

Hongs is a fantastic dumpling resturant that has been seen on television. The resturant serves a very tasty assortment of dumplings with chili or cranberry sauces.

Wow! We saw a piece in the paper about Hong's and decided to try it. Just superb food. Very small space though so you may want to do take out. We had dumplings, scallion pancake, and fried rice. All were terrific! Be sure to try Hong's homemade ginger garlic soy sauce.

Still excellent all these years later: I first met Mrs Hong in 2004 at the cart on Church Street. The only things missing are homemade mustard and hot pepper sauces. After reminiscing for a while, I dug in to my dumplings with the same pleasure I recall from nearly 20 years earlier. They are the best!

This was our first time trying Hong’s. Along with the food being so comforting, delicious and reasonably priced, we were treated like family here. The owner brought us our food as soon as it was ready while we sat on the cozy bench near the window. She gave my 9yo some attention and kindness and was also so sweet to the other family eating next to us. We also found it so charming that the owner was singing while cooking. You can tell she takes such pride, love and care in her restaurant and food. If your looking for great food at a place who appreciates your company this is it.

Worth a try if you're in the area. The sauces everyone raves about weren't any better than hot chili oil I've tried elsewhere, but maybe I got a substandard batch. The dumplings were very filling, and the scallion pancake was awesome.
Service was wildly fast, and there are cool pictures of notable visitors on the wall to look at during the minimal wait time.

I didn't expect the dumplings to be so large for the price, and they were very delicious. I watched them stuff, seal, and fry them to order which I thought was super neat. The three ladies working there at the time I went were super friendly and pleasant, even though we had ordered 20 dumplings near closing time. I'm a big fan of the crab and cheese ones, with their cranberry and chili sauce on the side for dipping. If I wasn't from out of town, I'd go here more often. Thanks for a great meal!
