Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine and Sushi

Such a nice place! We got the veggie dumplings and oh my, weird to start with, but ended up really liking them! Then got the hosomaki sushi platter, delish! Cabbage tofu soup was awesome and so so flavorful. Mango juice 10/10 highly recommend 😋 5 ⭐ across the board!

This is truly the best Thai in the area, and had been avoiding it for too long. Don't do what I did: go visit as soon as possible! Try their restaurant specialties, too. We tried the Thai vegetable dumplings, the scallion pancakes (with curry dipping sauce), chicken satay, papaya salad with a mild flavor, and crispy chicken fried rice. There are too few ACTUALLY good restaurants in the Upper Valley. Go support them!

At the risk of being hyperbolic, the food was not just delicious, it was an experience. Uncommon flavors melded together created one of the more enjoyable dining experiences I have had in a long time. Friendly service was a nice touch as well. This place is a gem.

We got carry out from here. It was delicious. I really liked the tofu appetizer. The eggplant dish was delicious. The tofu rice dish was very good as well. The spring rolls were good too.

The staff was friendly, food was delicious. The Crispy Chicken Pad Thai was the best I have ever had. The sauce they used on it was just the right consistency and very good. Also had some sushi and it was very good as well.

Stopped by for lunch after a little shopping for some Sushi. Staff was very friendly. We got 3 rolls of varying tuna and all were good. A little more finesse could be used for presentation but otherwise very good. They are set up with a nice bar and plenty of parking.

We saw they opened today and stopped in! The food was amazing. The sushi chef, didn't catch his name, was amazing and his selections were fresh and tasty! Please support this place! Friendly staff, great food, and easy ordering with the kiosk if you're trying to be quick!

I own a restaurant here in The Upper Valley and so, for the past ten years, I have not reviewed restaurants in The Upper Valley because I thought it was a conflict of interests. But then we had Covid and we went from an area with “some” dining out options to an actual “restaurant desert” and I decided to start reviewing local spots if I have a good review.

Enter the newly opened (two months ago) Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine and Sushi in West Lebanon, NH. We needed a spot like this SO BADLY!!! What they have done, completely rehabbing an old Dunkin’ Donuts is breathtaking. The place is just beautiful inside; light, bright, excellent finishes. Even a beautiful bathroom. They’ve “frosted” the windows so that sunlight STREAMS in during the day and at night the place practically “glows” from the outside. The music mix is also perfection (lots of 70s R&B and classic type Soul music).

The original Tuk Tuk has been open in a basement in downtown Hanover for 7 years. The Tuk Tuk team clearly honed their craft before opening this second location, because they are ON their game. They are taking to go orders online as well as over the phone and managing a steady stream of take out while waiting on everyone dining in. It is quite impressive. (Particularly if you have been witness to the general implosion of the restaurant industry since Covid liberated so many of us who were trapped in it….)

The food is SENSATIONAL.

No. Really.

The Thai food here is every, damn thing I’ve been wanting and needing in my life: delicious, fresh, CHOCK FULL of freshly cooked vegetables; plenty of options for someone who doesn’t eat beef, pork or poultry (i.e., Me); PLENTY of options just in general.

Look, I cook ALL DAY for a living. The last thing I want to do at the end of my 10 hr shift is cook. For myself. Also, I am single. I’m not going home to cook dinner for myself. And, after 10 years, I’m tired of having to eat what I cook every day. I need new and different flavors.

I’ve eaten at Tuk Tuk W. Leb 6 or 7 times now. They have a tiny little sushi case and have a limited sushi menu with a bunch of the “giant” type rolls people like. I ordered Nirvana Salmon Truffle, Lady in Red and Kamikaze (with no tempura crunch - I don’t do tempura crunch). They were all good. Better than any dine in sushi in the area. Each of these rolls could be a meal unto itself.

But what I keep coming back to eat here is the Thai food. You can add your choice of vegetables/protein. I add tofu. You can choose your spicy level (CHOOSE WISELY! Thai Food did NOT come to play…):

Tom Yum (Hot & Sour Soup) - delicious, the Tofu is big, lovely chunks of soft tofu that was light fried;

Silver Noodle Soup - this is a whole meal, soup with veggies and glass noodles;

Red Curry - I had mild spicy, it was perfect and DELICIOUS;

Green Curry - this one has eggplant, I LOVE eggplant. Also bamboo shoots. Fabulous;

Pad Thai - DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS, next time I must also add shrimp;

Thai Lo Mein - even better than the Pad Thai, FULL of veggies, wonderful;

Garlic Shrimp - this was the dish that showed me how PERFECT Tuk Tuk is; grilled shrimp, perfectly stir fried veggies, delicious garlic and black pepper sauce;

And the dish I will keep coming back to eat over and over and over:

Salmon and Eggplant: this is an entire Japanese eggplant cut open and grilled to perfection with a BIG, grilled Salmon fillet laid on top of it and then the entire thing COVERED in perfectly cooked onion, bell peppers, green beans, carrots, snow peas, topped with crispy basil leaves and a beautiful garlic sauce. An entire, delicious, healthy meal.

Everything I order is served perfectly hot directly from the kitchen. I can finish up at the Diner, drive over to Tuk Tuk, have something delicious/fresh/healthy before I head home to start the second part of my day (home/farm chores, laundry, etc. etc.).

Tuk Tuk W. Leb is changing my life. No more peanut M&Ms for dinner!!

Great staff and even better food! A special thanks to Ohm behind the bar serving up some fine beverages. We had a late lunch and everything was perfect. I highly recommend the red curry with seafood and an assortment of sushi. Heading back soon!

Great lunch, the food is excellent, the place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Nice bar selection, we will be back.

As always the Food and Service was excellent tonight and that is even with the restaurant being slammed with to go orders!

We were in the West Lebanon restaurant tonight as it is always much easier to find parking and we like the smaller place!!

Food was excellent. Very extensive menu selections. Very nicely done restautant interior, with nice Thai art on the walls. Great little location with ample parking. Service was very friendly. This is all around a terrific spot.

We now have compete in the area on Thai food which is making them all better. This is a branch of the Tuk Tuk in Hanover and I think it is better. The atmosphere is better. We had fresh excellent food and then got a dish to go for the kid at home. We did not try the sushi. We got the vegetable dumplings which we love. We then got ginger crispy duck (excellent), crispy chicken pad Thai, and a green curry. We needed extra rice to finish sopping up the sauces. We also had 2 desserts and both were great, black sticky rice with mango and coconut sorbet.

me and my girlfriend have been regular customers here for almost a year. since the first time we came in we have been treated with excellent service and the food is never sub par. when walking in we are always greeted at the door and sat down in a very timely manner. zero complaints!!

This was my second meal at this location and the food and service was excellent, as it was the first time. Seated and received food quickly even though it was a busy Friday night. However, this review isn’t about the food for me, it’s about the staff. There was a man at the bar who had maybe drank too much or was under the influence of another substance, I’m not sure, but he went to leave and a man from the kitchen area went with him to take him home. You could tell that the staff member didn’t know this guy, he was just trying to help. The team went above and beyond to make the other diners feel comfortable (it was a very non-threatening situation, by the way). To be in the presence of that kind of kindness from a staff member, who just wanted to get someone home safely, made my heart swell. So good for you guys, TukTuk Thai, for having an amazing staff that goes the extra mile for their patrons. 10/10 recommend.

I get takeout here at least three to four times a month, and every time the food has been amazing. I always get mango curry with shrimp- I highly recommend if you like the sweet-spicy combo. My partner got sushi and fried rice, which was equally as amazing. Today I ate in for the first time and it was extremely clean. Plating was simple and well-executed. The dining room was small and well maintained. The staff was kind and quick even with all the takeout orders coming through. Anytime someone asks about where to eat I tell them about this place. 100% recommend!

Great little restaurant I found while visiting. The whole meal took less than 30 minutes from being seated to getting the check (went around 14:00/2 pm) so it wasn’t busy.

The menu has a lot of great options from tradition Thai cuisine to sushi.

I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Crab Cream Puff, Thai Iced Tea, and Tuna roll. My friend got the Thai Spring rolls.

All the food was made quickly and came out to be a high quality. I enjoyed everything that the restaurant had to offer.

There is parking in the lot or nearby on the street (2-hr max).

The only complaint I had is there were a few flies around the restaurant that made it a little annoying to eat.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

This is the ultimate Thai food experience around. The food surpasses the Hanover location, and the customer service is top notch. So grateful to live near this gem
