Came here for breakfast and were very happy with our choice. Had a very local vibe. Very reasonable prices with large portions. The homemade toast, pancakes, French toast and corned beef hash were all great.

We got the last table and service was pleasant and quick. Well worth the slight detour off the highway.

We love this place. Food is great, servers are so nice, and the prices are crazy good. I can't get enough of the homemade bread. My husband's favorite thing is the tater tot casserole (a special, not on the menu). Go there and expect to see locals who know a good thing when they have it. Don't go expecting "fancy fine dining," and leave your prissy duds at home!

This place slaps. All the food items are AMAZING with HUGE portions. The homemade bread is a definite stand out. The service is amazing. We usually have Chantel wait on us; she is always very friendly and attentive. My coffee cup is never empty if I don’t want it to be! Coffee is also very good. Prices are extremely reasonable even with a slight increase a few months back. You won’t find bigger portions for better prices anywhere around here.

What a lovely little spot!! Definitely stop by. Food is tasty and comes out fast. The servers are so sweet & friendly. Nice hometown type of feel where everyone is welcome. Prices are great. I got a very filling $20 breakfast for two today and left feeling satisfied. Plenty of refills on the coffee too!

I absolutely had an amazing experience here. Just at the entrance, this diner had me at its sassy quotes - "Think. It's not yet illegal" / "We're short staffed, so if you ever feel impatient, we would be happy to get you an application to fill out " 😂.

Anyway, the diner had a really homely vibe and the ladies serving us were very sweet! The food and coffee were great, and this place would be an apt choice if you're looking for a comfy breakfast under $10 (per head). We took the garbage omelet and the steak and eggs, and both the dishes would come highly recommended.

Also as a side note, there's a lady who makes cute necklaces and bracelets, and they are up for grabs. So if you want a free diner merch from this place, feel free to take one. Mine's attached in one of the pictures.

Shyrl's Diner is open at 5 am and is usually busy for a reason! Shyrl runs the show and does a great job at it. She takes and remembers all orders. She cooks all of the orders. The environment is clean and organized. She keeps up quite well with everything! The food is fabulous. The prices are better than reasonable.

Popular place with extraordinary low prices, generous servings and friendly service by the ever smiling Chantelle! Two eggs with homemade toast and home fries only $4.75. My husband enjoyed a grilled pineapple muffin, hash, eggs and bacon. Definitely patronized by the locals. Small parking next to building or park on street.

Delicious and wonderful experience at Shyrl’s Diner. Our waitress, Chantel, was attentive and as sweet as you can imagine. This charming little diner had delicious food and a cozy at home atmosphere.

I ordered the western omelette with tots and wheat toast and my husband got the 2 egg (over easy), 2 meat (bacon), 2 pancake or French toast (he got pancakes)meal. My omelette was huge and SO good. The tots were nice a crisp and the buttery toast was out of this world good. My husband also had ginormous portions, especially the pancakes.

We also got coffee and an apple juice. My husband reported the coffee was great and my apple juice was also very big.

Awesome price point especially for portions. Highly recommend!

We tried to go to Shyrl’s once before, but the lines were too long. If you’re looking for a modern, fancy diner, this is not it. It’s old fashioned, family-oriented, and the food is cooked right before you and fresh. My son and I love eggs Benedict and we were happy to see it posted as a special. Made to order with delicious hash brown potatoes (crispy outside, soft inside). Nice, friendly staff. Attentive. And the prices cannot be beat!

Was visiting Dartmouth when we stumbled upon this gem. Food was amazing, portion sizes were phenomenal, and the coffee was good and strong. Highly recommend stopping in when you're in the area!

Stopped in for breakfast with my daughter from out of town. But had the welcoming homey feeling. Quick pleasant service with good food, I’m very picky about my hash and it was really good. Nice to hear them call the regulars by name too.

Chantel was a very attentive and friendly server. We loved the western omelette and home fries with homemade toast and the small town feel of Shyrl’s. Awesome experience.

I absolutely loved this place. Food was okay, diner was clean, though a tad rundown. However, the local charm sold me big time. Watching (I think) Shyrl get hugs from the guest, speaks volumes to me. The locals actually helped with the coffee, and made hilarious jokes. "Better leave a God damn tip" had me laughing so hard. This is a perfect example of a great small town diner, I'd gladly go back to.

We loved Shyrls! I'm sad her restaurant isn't closer to our house. The food was super fast arriving and being eaten! Everything was delicious,especially the French toast. She offers real maple syrup for people that like it.

Neat place...Diner atmosphere..Love to be able to get breakfast at noon on Saturday when l am lazily enjoying my day off..Could of used a bit more on my plate...Lord knows l don't need it

Wow what a great experience. Extremely friendly and personable staff who serve delicious food. Great prices and service I can't believe I have never been to Shyrl's before. It was busy and parking can be a little tricky but it is worth it.
