FANTASTIC CAMPGROUND!
Travel nurses and other traveling professionals welcome. The owner and staff are so friendly and accommodating. You can easily keep to yourself or join in with the campgrounds planned activities.
I personally enjoyed their pool all summer. They’ve got a swimming pond for kiddos who want to splash and jump and a playground. The showers and restrooms are well kept and the laundry set up was easy to use.

Could not recommend this place enough! If we’re in the area again, we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Rest’N’Nest!!

The location was perfect - conveniently close to the interstate yet delightfully serene without any noise disruptions. The staff at the campground were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Despite arriving on short notice, they managed to secure a spot for us right next to the charming swimming pond. The highlight of our trip was seeing the kids have an absolute blast on the three rafts in the water - they were entertained for hours!

I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. The showers and bathrooms were spotless throughout our stay, which made a huge difference in our overall comfort. It's evident that the staff puts in consistent effort to ensure a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Best campground in the area. The owner, Mike, is a great guy and probably the most helpful camp owner I've ever dealt with. The campground is full of seasonal sites that are occupied with regular campers, so it makes the place feel like a community. Very comfortable, clean, safe, and great for kids. A nice little pond for swimming, playground, above ground pool, and activities for the weekends and holidays. Also have regular sites for both tent camping and campers of any size, all of which are well maintained.

The staff here are the most friendliest people I’ve met. The grounds are kept in excellent condition. Every weekend they have tournaments where they get a lot of campers together to have so much fun. There is a pond where you can swim in, feed fish, or enjoy the water fountain in the middle. A pool and game hall is conveniently located at the front, along with a playground for youngsters. Toilets, showers, and laundry room are tidy and clean. It’s the best vacation my family and I have enjoyed. I implore anyone that is looking for a quaint and homely feeling to stop by and spend a weekend there. Thank you Rest n Nest for the expierance.

I was a travel nurse with my husband at this campground. It was the first time we have been to Vermont, and it was definitely a quiet, cozy place. The staff there treats you like family, and they are always available when you need them. They even went way out of their way to make sure my husband got my birthday gift right on time too. They also have activities and events there which is a lot of fun! Great place to stay!

The owner’s customer service was outstanding. Vermont was hit with so much rain and they worked really hard to keep things dry and clean. The surrounding woods were beautiful and the pond was quaint and kid friendly. The showers and laundry rooms were extremely clean.

We would Recommend to friends and all! When back in New England we will make another visit here.

As soon as I reached the grounds, I just felt a peace. It was nice and peaceful. I stayed for the latter half of June and beginning of July. It was pretty empty except for the weekend of the 4th. If I make it back to VT, I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome campground! Perfectly located close to town but not too close. Hospital is within a 20 min drive. Main town is 30 min. Owner Mike is very responsive to needs of campers. Lucia is a welcoming face when you first check in. Park itself is very clean with spacious sites.

If I could give it 10 stars I would just based on customer service. The owner Mike and his Mom that helps out are two of the most incredibley genuine and hard working people I've ever met. The place itself it's gorgeous. Spaced out every amenity you need tucked away in the woods. Overall we will stay here again and again. Highly recommend!

This campground is great!! It is very clean and there is plenty of space at my campsite. There is a swimming pond with a beach area and a pool with a playground next to it. They sell most things you may need, including yummy goodies like ice cream, in the camp store at the office. There are activities and events each month like bingo and corn hole tournaments, along with group campfires that everyone is welcome to join in on. I can’t even say enough good things about the owner and his family. They were all so helpful when I was arriving and even now through out my stay. Everyone is very dog friendly and all of the people I have met over the past month have been so nice! I even found a hiking buddy to check out all the beautiful places near here. There are multiple places to have family fun that aren’t too far from the campground and the next exit up on the interstate is Dartmouth. World class health care and a great college town! I have already visited some maple farms near by and toured some of the cute little towns. I can’t wait to spend the rest of the season here! This is a great place to spend your summer!!

Our family stayed at Rest'n'nest for the last 2+ weeks and enjoyed our experience immensely. This campground is beautiful. Some sites in grassy, sunny spots. Many in shady, forested spots. We stayed in a few and loved each of them for their own unique perspective of the park. Our kids adored both the swimming pond with its sandy beach and warmer water, as well as the cooler pool, which was always so clean. Shared facilities of the bathroom, shower, and laundry were equally clean. Mike, the owner and his mom Lucia at the front desk, as well as her husband Mike were all so helpful and kind to our family from our initial reservation through the ups and downs of our extended stay. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and help! They work tirelessly to support their campers. We were lucky enough to be here for Christmas in July, which was a magical experience where the rec hall was transformed into the North Pole, Santa visited, and had a special toy for every child. Our kids loved it! The playground was great and my son rode his bike all over the park, which was safe and accessible. We will definitely go back to visit here again and highly recommend it!

This RV park is ideal for travel nurses. I completed a total 51 weeks in a two year span of time. Mike does a great job accommodating contract workers, helps out with pretty much anything you need! He’s the only RV park that stays open for the winter months. The RV park is about 15-20min drive to Dartmouth Hitchcock, and perfect distance to Lebanon for anything else you need! I’ll give this place 5 stars anytime of the year. Amazing people run Rest N Nest.

Booking a reservation at Rest N Nest was the easiest experience I have had in 3 years of RV traveling. Mike was extremely helpful and was one of the most kind people I’ve spoke with over the telephone. He absolutely caters to healthcare workers that need something close to DH in Lebanon,NH. We can’t wait to get there!!

The staff here are very accommodating and personable! They are travel nurse and dog friendly! The general atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The campsites are spacious with a fire ring at each site. This is where you go to get away from it all yet not be alone. 5 out 5 stars, would stay here again! :)

It has taken us a little over a month to provide a review, which is partly due to procrastination, being busy, but mostly because we wish we were still there. We spent almost 21 weeks at the campground and enjoyed every minute of it. Rest n Nest is so much more than a beautiful place to camp. The site was large enough to accommodate our 36' motorhome, two vehicles, a motorcycle, and each site has a fire ring. The hookups/utilities worked flawlessly and great Wi-Fi service was added while we were there. A large bath house and laundry facility is available in the huge recreation building next to the swimming pool and play ground. And the camp sites are conveniently laid out with New England’s beautiful trees, providing natural shade and ambiance. The daily walks with our dog was very enjoyable in the campground, especially around the clear and refreshing spring-fed swimming pond. All of this would make for a wonderful destination but the best part for us was the community of Rest n Nest that starts with the owner and his family. Mike and his mother, Lucia, are absolutely passionate and committed to providing their guests with the best possible camping experience. Whether it’s large activities like concerts, pot lucks, holidays celebration, or just relaxing by the weekly campfires, this family truly enjoys the many smiles and laughs expressed throughout the campground. Mike, Lucia, and the seasonal local guests became a part of our family. We hope to return many more times in the coming years.

Great hosts who go above and beyond to make one’s stay an enjoyable experience! Very close to interstate exit, but very quiet. A great location for touring central Vermont and central New Hampshire.

Had the best most relaxing, healing time. From before even arriving, I had all my questions answered promptly. Warmly greeted and explained everything I'll need to know with great suggestions of things to do and places to visit. Very engaged and kind and friendly owners who clearly put their heart into this place and truly care about the quality of a person's stay. I stayed in one of the cabins and it was clean, organized, with everything I could need for the weekend, including a cute little welcome basket with a note from the owners.. the property is quiet and beautiful. The surrounding nature is gorgeous. A few trails really close by to hike, Queechee Gorge not too far also which I went to see and it was beautiful. Very kid friendly as well. I will definitely be coming back with my niece!! Definitely worth it.
Ignore any negative reviews from the past as this campground is under new ownership since April 2020 and from what I read in some previous negative posts, none of those things are true today under these guys.

We stayed here for 6 weeks in June and July 2021. We stayed 5 weeks in 2020 as well. New owners Mike and Jessica are awesome camp hosts. Very friendly and available to help if you have any problems. We were in a cool, quiet back in site with lots of shade. Out grandchildren came every day to use the pool, playground, pond and ride their bikes. A variety of weekend activities are planned throughout the summer. Many people in campground for the summer and most are super friendly. Dogs are welcome. The restroom, shower and laundry facilities are very clean. If you are looking for a quiet, family oriented campground this is your place. We will be back next year!.

Just returned from our first trip here. Had a good time. Mike and Mike were very helpful and accomodating. We have a travel trailer and a large tent. They cleared a space for the tent. They also gave us a lot of tips on leveling the camper. Mike even supplied necessary stuff for us to do it and helped. He also helped with septic hookup as it was our first time doing it. Thanks again!

My experience with this family campground was very pleasant. The grounds were very well kept, very clean and welcoming. And most importantly the owners have put measures in place to maintain excellent sanitation necessary during this Covid Crises.
The campground was quiet. Very nice grassy sites with a playground and a sparkling clean pool. The camp store was well stocked....esp the ice cream selection:) And lastly ..the nice bathhouse!!! Had separate complete bathrooms and fully enclosed private shower rooms. Great water temp and pressure too! The owners Mike and Lucia and Michael were nice, kind and very welcoming. I encourage families to check into this campground...they won't be dissatisfied. PS bring the bikes kids. .
