Day trip for us. It was great walking around downtown, the college buildings and town green. Lots of restaurants. Beautiful new england town. College was out for summer break but families were there checking out the school. I think it will even be prettier with autumn colors.

Always beautiful. Fun to visit and people watch. Lots of benches to sit at, and lots of green to play Frisbee or whatever you want!

My 50th reunion was joyous! I finally had the chance to enjoy my classmates. We were too busy in 1972!

My 50th reunion! This was one of the most joyous events of my life. How can a place that has changed so much still feel like the home it was for us a half century ago? When I was an undergraduate, I heard what I'm saying here said by alums back then. This feeling that the College instills in us is its secret superpower! Thank you, Dartmouth!

the grass was comfy. There was music and food. Lots of dogs and small children were running around, and everybody was having fun. It was a great experience, and I plan to go back again soon.

Part of Darthmouth splendid campus! It is elegant and homey. All the campus buildings are within 15-20 minutes walk. Within these institutions, it is equipped properly, and it also has excellent rowing and football team. But that isn't related to this park. It is peaceful and has many private pockets in which students can study in. It's remarkably quiet and zen too.

Nice place to start a walking tour of Dartmouth. The place can be quite pretty in the winter when it is covered in snow. We arrived by car and easily found paid street parking a short distance away along South Main Street.

Nice spot to sit around with a coffee and people watch when the weather is nice. During the summer there's a farmer's market on the Green every Wednesday afternoon, you'll smell the kettle corn!

The Green is a bit like the "home-base" for all things Dartmouth. Although often blanketed under a layer of snow, or in the middle of recovering from a muddy spring, the Green is home to the fall bonfire, the winter snow sculpture, as well as the giant Christmas tree lighting. During the spring and summer, students are often all over, studying, playing frisbee, or just enjoying the good weather while it lasts. Though not always the "greenest", it is a cultural center for students and the college traditions.

Dartmouth Green is the most wonderful place in downtown Hanover in spring, summer and fall. Bring your children and/or pets to sit on the Green watching Dartmouth students playing Frisbee or just be part of the community.
