The Friendly Toast

I loved it here! I wish I lived nearby and could come back and try so many more things on the menu.
The pancakes were amazing, and the Some Like it Tots were so good too.
Went on a very busy weekend and the service was still great.

We felt like we were at The Max from Saved by the Bell!! Hehe

Great location, wonderful food, and delightful service! They handled my food allergies wonderfully and the food was DELICIOUS! The gluten free pancake was massive and we ended up taking half of it home for lunch but oh man it was so good!

Highly recommend this for breakfast, wonderful spot to sit back and enjoy a delicious meal!

My favourite brunch in all of Burlington!
The way their waiting list works is so good because you can walk around while you wait but it usually goes by fairly quickly.
Every meal I’ve tried has been perfect. My personal favourite is the Huevos Rancheros.
Every beverage and cocktail is delicious and they often have seasonal specials.
The staff is also always extremely friendly and welcoming.

One of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve had. The food was great. There’s such a huge selection, no one could leave disappointed. Our waitress was so friendly. Old School “My Little Pony” episodes of n the TV.

Such a vibe here!!! Love the funky decor- you could spend all day admiring their funky art, random items hanging on the wall etc! We stopped in for breakfast- it was busy but we had no issue being seated right away! Great staff!

We love that they have a massive breakfast/brunch menu that INCLUDES vegan choices! 85% of the menu isn’t vegan but what they do offer that is vegan- is amazing!!

The vegan chocolate chip pancakes were honestly some of the best vegan pancakes I’ve EVER had! Super massive- dense- flavorful! Loved that the pancake was moist & soft. Had a side of vegan sausage on the side! The pancakes were so tasty I didn’t even need maple syrup for them! That’s how you KNOW a pancake is banging! 🥞🥞

Staff was super friendly! It was a busy day & the food came out quickly regardless! If in the area- the Friendly Toast is a MUST! They have something for everyone & their food is sooooo yummy!!!

What a fun experience! I've never been here before and what a treat! The waitstaff was so friendly and amazing service. I wish I had got the flight of coffees but inside tried their espresso yourself (soooo good!) And a shandys painkiller ( don't judge I was on vacation and not driving 😁)

First time there the French toast was delicious I had one piece sourdough one piece cinnamon raisin staff was very friendly coffee was strong real maple syrup place was clean bathrooms were clean definitely will go back

This place has such a cool vibe, the art is super cool and random, the food is AMAZING! Our waitress was very nice and super helpful all around 10/ 10 would recommend. We had the churro bite app as the starter with that jam sooooo gooood! And the burrito was amazing

Why did I wait so long to try this place?! Brought a girlfriend here for birthday brunch and we fell in love! The service was incredibly fast and extremely, well, friendly! This place was BUSY, we were lucky to get a seat at the bar right when we arrived, be prepared to wait but know you will get your belly FILLED.

The menu is huge and full of amazing options, I have to visit many more times just to try everything I wanted to. We loved the mimosa flight, and loaded tots, everything was so delicious!

Wonderful, funky, breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot. Fantastic Bloody Mary, Bennys, and their home fries are simply delicious! Portions are perfect…not too big nor too small! Give them a try for great food, and friendly service!

I had the Irish Benny and it was fantastic. Lunch and dinner felt anticlimactic to me after eating breakfast here. 😋 The flavors and taste left me wanting to try everything on the menu. The service, from Nick, was exceptional.

The drinks were delicious, perfectly crafted. The food was incredible.. so many different options and everything we ordered was unique and delicious. But what really made the experience was the staff - from seeing how they interact with each other, to dealing with a difficult customer, to providing friendly service while also being extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.. 10/10. Samuel and Emma were phenomenal.

Met up with my twin sister for some breakfast. Sat at the bar and had a great time! Mimosa flight, burger, salmon toast, margs: all were just as they should be. Server/bar tender was very attentive and helpful (not to mention really good at up-selling...who knew we needed jello shots at 10am? Must've known we were headed out shopping😂)

Great service and yummy food. Very fun and festive environment. We love friendly toast in Portsmouth, NH and this location is a well played replica. Look forward to coming back.

When I tell you this is the spot!!! The breakfast was phenomenal. I wish we had a place this back home in CT. Also the staff was so warm and welcoming, if you get the chance sit with Michael you won’t regret it! We’ll be back 😊

I love the vibe here, it’s relaxed and fun. Food is great and staff are friendly. I especially loved hearing my waitress singing along to Karma in the background during last time I was there - you could just tell she was having a great day. I think this is my cross-border shopping go-to stop.

You will experience a wait and it is well worth it. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are flawless. Wait staff is incredibly attentive, ever present, and they do not do the two bite rule. Their mocktails are great and delicious, especially the sherbet.

One of the best restaurants in America!!!! The food, service, drinks, atmosphere, everything was so detailed and thoughtful that it needs to be recognized nationally as the best! I cannot wait to make it back to one.

This is the best Brunch place in Burlington!! My family has lived here for 10 years and Friendly Toast is always a place all my family can find something they love. It’s a fun and friendly place with amazing food!
